I wish I could give them a 0 zero. I stopped in on August 27, 2020 at 6:56 pm for a quick meal before I hit the freeway to home. I ordered a fish filet meal upgraded with large fries and a coffee. The coffee was the only thing worth the price....free. The fish was totally awful. It was barely warm, tasted like metal and very small. The bun was chewy. The fries were also not hot and chewy and tough. All this for $9.75. How long had these items been sitting under the heat lamp? I went back in and complained and got no response. I threw most of the meal away. I realize we are in a time of limited profit for many restaurants and fast food establishments. BUT to serve the food with such a lack of quality is appalling. I don't eat at McDonald's (or any other fast food establishment) very often but this has cured me forever. I intend to complain directly to the manager and to McDonald's corporate office. When we get to the window we were only charged for the sandwich he ordered, we let her know it was supposed to be a meal and with an attitude she says I had to go around and go inside to change it, mind you there was no cars behind me. We stop at this McDonald's location just because of convenience (proximate to I-80) and at the crossroad with State Highway 89. You will get your usual Big Mac or Quarter Pounder - but - if you use the drive-through be prepared to get a dampening as you approach and wait to pay and then receive your purchases: the roof overhang provides what is ever 'melting above' to wind up inside your vehicle as you roll your windows down to pay-and-go. Did a drive by..err...thru here yesterday to get birthday chicken mcnuggets for Storm (my Siberian Husky.) I don't each much fast food and I typically would not go inside to eat fast food. So will usually only judge them by the service and accuracy. And I wasn't getting any food for me. Besides, it's McDonald's and their food is pretty darn standard across all locations (which I was very thankful for in Paris!) But I did get one of their "Premium Coffees". I like Starbucks. So I ordered what I like as a treat at SBUX here. A tall (or small at MCD) mocha with an add shot and only 1 pump of chocolate (they put 4 in a small - HOLY SUGAR!) and they did it right! And with no sneering or complaints. Very nice. You'd be surprised at how many times this order is done incorrectly at other coffee stands or shops. As a shareholder of MCD - I appreciated the correct coffee order and quick drive through service. Also - Stormy and Angelus (my huskies) LOVED their mcnuggets :) read more

I've been to this McDonald's countless times it is very hard to get anything you order from the menu correct. It seems like it's a circus act. I really don't like giving hearts reviews like this however the bathroom is always smell like urine. This is my favorite pit stop before heading in to the mountain. They have good service here and the food is always hot. They have several gas stations here and Starbucks coffee across the street. Inside this Mc Donald's its super clean except the bathroom, it needs a remodel. I've been here a couple times where they had the sausage mc muffin combo deal instead of one sandwich you get two for a little bit more. Like any average Mc Donald's it's all the same, should be same consistency. They have a large flat screen with news and weather up to date which is good if you're on the road. This location also have unlimited refills because you refill your drink yourself which is good deal! This is one of the BEST McDonalds. The employees, especially Victoria is fabulous and very courteous. I stop here on my way to Reno, skiing, and fun in the snow. The food is always good and freshly prepared. The service has always been top notch. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. Dropped in a week ago on my way to Reno. Had a question on the happy meal toy. Victoria, whom I believe is a manager, handled it extremely well. The guy on the register was wonderful too.
