The other savoury crepes are also around this price. Every time I see this truck there's quite the line, and by the nature of making crepes in a small space, it doesn't move very quickly. But if you have the patience, it's worth the wait! Really nice people running it.

I reserved 2 lbs to check out the quality. The suet was clean and cut into small pieces similar to Atora Suet which you can buy in Britain. Perfect for stew dumplings, mincemeat pie, Christmas pudding and savory and non-savory pastries, as is, with little prep. I am rendering it down to make tallow and so far it is melting like a dream. Fair price and great product. I should mention that the store was crazy busy when I arrived, but the staff were handling customers and their various products with precision and care. Two thumbs up from me for Pete's.

They have quite a variety of frozen items from desserts, dim sum, soups, and dishes for dinner. Prices were reasonable. I purchased the large seafood dumplings, fish maw with shrimp paste, sticky rice, tapioca pudding dessert, and fried milk. Tried a majority of the items so far except for the taps pudding and was quite happy with everything I got!! I will be going back again to restock soon!

Re: a purchase and recent preparation of squid…read more What was purchased, and how it was prepared. - two, rather large, whole squid -- purchased as a frozen product, and kept frozen. - when thawed - tentacle area (head) of each squid was cut away from the body, and body contents cleared, and thoroughly cleaned - first meal -- tentacles and pre-cooked vermicelli rice noodles, stir fried together in wok - second meal -- body tubes cut into 'rings', marinated (in canola oil, garlic, ginger, and wine), and the contents stir fried, in wok on high heat -- served w/vermicelli rice noodles prepared stove top. Results: - first meal - found the squid flavourful, but definitely a little tough. Was surprised though, the leftovers after an overnight in the fridge, and eaten cold, were sure good -- much more tender, and with the flavour I had hoped to taste and enjoy yesterday. - second meal - a similar experience - the squid looked good, though still tough after cooking - but after an overnight in the fridge, was so much more tender, flavourful, and tasty. My experiences dealing with preparing and cooking these whole, frozen squid were a lot of fun. The initial results, though a touch off the marks I had hoped for, had ended up with results so much closer, and enjoyed. The squid were really flavourful and tasty, once they had "their way" from how I had initially treated them!!

Crazy thing is I've lived in the tricities (super close to this location) for the last 15 years and only just learned of them! It was a very lovely experience. It is a small dessert spot tucked away in a corner of a commercial lot. It has a very cute and cozy vibe inside but not really any seating area to hang out. The staff that helped us were very friendly and wonderful. One thing that really got me excited is that fact that they are inclusive with vegan treats. I am dairy free so it's really helpful to see that I don't have to miss out on delicious treats. Would I recommend Occasionally Honey? Absolutely, over and over again. Whether you are vegan/plant-based/gluten free or not, or just someone who is a sucker for a good cafe or dessert place - Ocassionally Honey is a spot to check out. I tried the soft serve (made with oat milk) with caramel sauce and chocolate cookie crumble. We also got a Lemon Raspberry creamy coco pop (made with coconut milk) - this is apparently one of their popular flavours. Loved both. I was quite surprised at the flavour profile of the coco pop but it actually worked really well and I really enjoyed it.
