I made the mistake of trusting mine when she recommended them for my condo inspection... lesson learned. The water heater didn't even work, yet somehow the inspector missed it--so I spent my first three weeks bonding with cold showers. The warranty company wouldn't cover it since the issue existed before I moved in. On top of that, I had to replace both toilets right away. Somehow they missed that too. Of course, when I contacted them, they denied any responsibility and took zero accountability for their mistakes. All in all, I would definitely not recommend them, especially if they're being suggested by your real estate agent.

He talks a lot about how mold is everywhere and grid to minimize because I think he's used to all the crazy worries we all have - so understand that's where he's coming from when he almost excessively tried to calm your fears. We had a substantial roof leak with mold in walls - all handled very well and professionally and nowhere nearly as expensive as it could have been. You won't regret calling him. Genuine good person. Hope he doesn't change.

Elevate was none of that. They showed up on time (which, let's be honest, already puts them ahead of most people in my life), were genuinely friendly, and treated our Eastvale home inspection like it actually mattered, because it does. The inspector walked us through everything: roof, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, the works. He didn't talk down to us, didn't gloss over things, and didn't make me feel dumb for asking "wait, is that bad?" a 100 times. The report was detailed, organized, and in our hands fast. And indeed he was! Elias met us on an expedited schedule and he worked promptly with a deep attention to detail. He identified every little issue and gave us an extreme amount of comfort. He even fended off an annoying seller agent that ambushed him towards the end of his inspection and tried to get information on Elias' findings before he even discussed with the client (me). In summary, Elias is the best in the business and is a man of strong integrity. I highly recommend him and definitely would work with him again.

Sadly, he scheduled the wrong day and my agent went to the property and basically wasted the trip there since we had to reschedule to the next day. For me this wasn't a big deal since I didn't go out myself, but I felt bad that my agent wasted his time. Elias was very apologetic and even bought my agent a gift card as an apology. He totally owned up to his mistake and for me that speaks volumes about a person. The actual inspection was pretty good as far as I can tell, I'm not an expert on these kinds of things but the report was very detailed and had a lot of photos. He flew a drone up to the roof to take a look and even pointed out minor details like staining on the carpet that I honestly didn't catch when I saw the property myself. Seems like he used infrared to check for water leaks when inspecting the plumbing in the bathrooms and kitchen. In terms of pricing, he was one of the more expensive options but given the level of customer service he provided and the quality of the report I would say it's worth it. Overall, the experience with Elias was very positive and if I ever need inspection services again, he'll be the first I call.

Even when it became a larger project with more days than anticipated, they added on a 12 hour Saturday work day and put in all of the time it took to resolve the issue in my home. I was looking for a fast turnaround on mold testing after a tenant complaint, so l sent out the Yelp bat signal with the option to contact multiple vendors at once. Robert and Bye Bye Mold was one of the first company to come back to me with immediate info, an appointment, and plenty of information on pricing and a scope of work. Robert was flexible, easy to contact and communicate with, and he messaged me well after and before business hours. Basically he responded immediately no matter what time. He went above and beyond, so he will definitely be my first call the next time l need mold testing. The only reason I didn't end up hiring him was because a previous vendor was able to accommodate an earlier appointment time, and Robert graciously understood and told me to feel free to call him if I needed anything else. After waiting without receiving anything, I followed up with Arturo by text and was told that he would send the quote later that day. Four days passed, and I still did not receive the written estimate or any update. I sent another follow-up message and received no response at all. The only positive part of my experience was communicating with their staff, Abigail. The person responding to my texts, who I believe was Abigail, was responsive and helpful whenever I reached out to the company's main number. Unfortunately, despite her responsiveness, I still had difficulty getting the information I needed from the technician assigned to my project. I understand that delays can happen, but timely communication and following through on commitments are important. Based on my experience, I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness and would encourage the company to improve communication between their technicians and potential customers.
