These guys are amazing! Our AC went out just as we were moving into a new house. Boxes everywhere, working our tails off, and then all of a sudden - no AC. I sent a few messages on Yelp and MD Air answered very quickly. Once we figured exactly what I needed, they promised they'd be there within 90 minutes. Less than 50 minutes later, they were at the door. I was thrilled! MD Air got up onto the roof, diagnosed the (thankfully small) problem, replaced the part, and then checked to make sure that everything was ok. He was down off the roof in about 45 minutes and the house started cooling down immediately. I was SO happy - and the bill was more than reasonable. read more

Our ac stopped working sometime in the middle of the night (I assume). At 8 am it was already 76 degrees in the house and climbing. Checked Yelp and reviews looked excellent for MD Air. Called them and they answered right away Spoke to James. Said he'd be out no later than noon, this was about 10 00 am. He and his wife showed at 11, found the problem immediately and it wound up being the fan in the ac unit. They could have told us anything. They were ahead of schedule, replaced the fan unit for $399, which included the $49 service call. Punctual, honest, pleasant and ac working great at minimum cost. Highly recommend. Philb read more

We have had an Ecobee 3 just sitting on bookshelf for the past 2 months waiting on someone to install it. Fair warning-- if you believe installing a smart thermostat is as easy as they claim-- you are wrong. Call a pro. I finally stopped procrastinating and requested installation quotes via Yelp. Received a variety of prices but after comparing reviews-- decided MD Air wasthe best option. Called and booked a bright and early 7 am appointment and lo and behold-- this mom and pop shop showed up at 7 am! The install was short and sweet, the owners of the company were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. And now I have a functional Ecobee 3! Definitely recommend! Will use again! read more

I had some unexpected troubles with my AC after working all day. Today set a record for the hottest temp in Vegas so you can imagine how uncomfortable my house was. I called several different places before finding MD Air. My call was immediately answered and after I answered a few of his questions he had a good guess of what the problem was. I called about 1830 and he was here within an hour and had my AC up and running in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company. I want to thank James for taking care of our broken AC! Our AC stopped working last night around 8p and didn't bother to check any AC/cooling companies thinking nobody works past business hours. My wife and 2 little girls managed to sleep the night with a 80 degree house. Which wasn't bad but as the hours went by through the morning my house gotten hotter. So I found MD air online and saw the amazing reviews and how honest they were. Called James at 6am and he tells me that he should make it in by 10am-12pm which is great! I set up my own ecobee3 lite at home and had some questions during set up. I was too impatient to wait to get this item done and marked off of my to-do list. I was messaging with James about some questions I had and he ended up fitting me in his busy nightly schedule just to come by and ensure I wired everything correctly. I did everything right but I have much more peace of mind knowing that it's all good instead of assuming it's all good! He was concerned for the worst possible scenario and took time out of his day to come by and make sure everything was fine. They even gave me a referral to a handyman in their family! So awesome. Came out and evaluated an issue I was having with my AC unit, same day. Showed up on time and fixed the issue within 30 mins. They could have easily made up some bs story about how I need this,that,and the other thing and gouged me on the price, but they only charged me the original service call $49 and were on their way. Wow! James is a rockstar! The larger of our 2 units wasn't working properly so I chose MD from yelp reviews and James answered immediately and said he could be at our place in @1.5 hours. He actually arrived in 30 minutes which was awesome! James was friendly, polite, respectful, professional and efficient. Thankfully, it was an easy repair of the compressor and I was charged the service fee + part = very reasonable price. Received text from my renter that the AC unit on the house stopped working this morning at 4am, so I got onto yelp at 5:40am sent out 10 messages to 10 different companies and MD Air responded by 5:51am said they can be out this morning at 8am. How awesome is that right!!!! But it gets better they came even earlier 7:30 and my AC was up and running by 7:40. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs service. Highly recommended! A/C out two days sent message out on Yelp, Kevin got back to me right away answered a bunch of question, got a great quote for a new unit and was able to schedule install next day. James and Robin were great had a tricky install of the new unit but they got it done fast and after a/c fail, home warranty fail, and two days without a/c, have cool air flowing again. My ac unit went out yesterday. So I contacted my home warranty and their contractor couldn't get to my house until 4 days later grrr. It's summertime in Vegas... I can't wait 4 days. I contacted another company that I had previously dealt with and sent them my info on their emergency #.... never heard back from anyone. After reading some yelp reviews I decided to email MD air. They responded in 2 minutes stating they can be out within the hour. I gladly took that appointment. James showed up 30 min later, worked on it for about 15-20 min and my ac is now working again. I gave up on my home warranty company getting anyone competent in a/c to come out, so I hired MD Air. It was the best decision I could have made. The reviews I read about MD Air were all true. The air stopped working last night. I called them this (Saturday)morning around 8 am and got the same day appo at 1 pm. They gave me a courtesy call at 11:50 am, showed up 12:15 pm, checked all the basic stuff, found & fixed the old wire on my AC unit and charged me $49. The service is amazing! The owners, James and Robin, were very friendly and honest. They are very punctual and give you an EXACT appointment time--not a "window" of 4 hours. The price for repair was *VERY* reasonable. The work was done quickly--both the actual repair and the initial diagnostic. You could tell that James had enormous experience by how quickly he found the problem (in about 1/3 of the time than other techs that had given me quotes). I was also surprised that they don't try to upsell you either. I had to ask for a quote for a new unit, while most companies would immediately "encourage" you to purchase a new unit from them. I would just like to give a great review to this great couple who run this business. My fan for my a/c went out yesterday around 3pm. I waited for some miracle for it to work. I called MD and within 45 minutes they showed up and replaced the fan motor in no time. They really know what they are doing and real down to earth people. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any repairs. I am planning on replacing the unit which is 28 years old by next summer and will have them do the work. GREAT WORK!!! read more

I had a brilliant view written but for some reason, I had trouble publishing it. Anyway, this is it in a nutshell: Called two other companies who gave me the run around about my AC unit. One company said I needed a new unit (my current unit is 3 yrs old). He said I had an unfixabke refrigerant leak and I should get a new unit. The second company I called said I Did indeed have a refrigerant leak. They would have to order the part which would take five days and if they fixed it they would not guarantee their work at all - not even for three months. They also said I needed a new AC unit. Someone at work recommended MD Air. So, I called them and boy am I glad I did. First of all, James was very pleasant on the phone. His attitude just inspired confidence. I made an appt for the next day for after work and they said they would be waiting for me and they were. I explained the situation, And James and his wife got to work on checking out my AC. He said I did I indeed have a refrigerant leak; that he could fix it and that he would guarantee his work for a year. Ok. Great! I found them to be very knowledgeable. And the best part is they do not price gouge. I've lived in Las Vegas since 1977 and they are without a doubt the best AC company with whom I have ever done business. I didn't know them before I had my AC fixed by them, but I'm so glad I know them now. I would not hesitate to call them again. They are simply the best. read more
