First time here. Had the pizza buffet. Yummy! Definitely a cut above Round Table, and a bargain at a base $13. My friend with me agreed, and is ready to go back for another go. I hate complaining, and eat here all the time. But the pizza tonight was cold so I just wanted to let them know. Dude tells me how that would be impossible because they have warmers lol. Then was patronizing me by asking if it's frozen cold. I'm like cmon man, of course it's not frozen but it's not even warm. Then he blames the door dash driver, even through they have alerts lol. He puts me on hold, then come back and asks "so what do you want to do about it". I would get it if I was being rude, but I was absolutely not. Not good at all! I'm not sure what they've changed about their recipe but it used to be a really good pizza, now it's not. The sauce tastes funky and the crust is paper thin. It doesn't even hold up without folding, then the crust is soggy on top of that. The whole thing is throwaway. Waited. Very nice restaurant! Large & spacious. Safe, clean & practiced. TVs up with lots of seating. After a short wait the worker said it was ready. Very kind! We had the pizza, salad & drink buffet which was extremely limited - no tomatoes at all at their salad bar!They took forever to even put the pizza out and when they did, it was only one type of pizza, put out as slowly as they possibly could. They finally put out 2 other types of pizza, but forgot the other half of the toppings! Next time, I will make sure my favorite pizza place is open! read more

I grew up with Mountain Mike's pizza so occasionally I get a craving and am not satisfied until I have one of their pies. We always order take out here so limited experience on their service. But, importantly, our orders are always correct and good service when we come in for pick up. You can build your own pizza but they have great specialty pizzas - I usually go with a combo or the veggie with added pepperoni. My husband always gets wings which are ok here, not the best but they do the job. I also love that MM has locations in so many other cities - I know if I come across one, I'm going to get the same great pizza. Bonus is many locations have a salad bar. One of the employees at this establish stole my card information and used it to commit fraud. I placed an online order 09/08 and received a call from "mountain mikes" shortly after claiming my info didn't go through and I need to confirm my card information. I did and they said it went through. Directly after I received two unrecognized unauthorized charges out of Oakland and Hayward CA. One for around $50 at jack in the box and one for around $68 at another food place. This is unacceptable. If someone from corporate sees this please get in contact with me. read more

I have been to this Mountain Mike's 3 Fridays in a row. Go in around 11:00, eat and then go grocery shopping. Each time the pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. The staff is helpful and keep the atmosphere professional and moving. We order a small pizza and always end up taking some home. We have watched them tend their salad bar and pizza buffet with tlc. We have seen them take pizza off the buffet if it was there too long. They replace it with a fresh one. Really superior to other pizza parlors. All around great experience read more

I would rate this lower than a one if I could. $80 for an uncooked pizza that was chewy, and two side salads. The macaroni salad was 100% rancid, and every single soda in their machine was flat (my girlfriend and I tried them all). The sodas were not lukewarm, but WARM as well. Ordered by phone and given a 15 minute pickup. Walked in to some very loud music playing overhead. Plastic barriers over counter to separate customers and staff, but I could see 2 ladies both with their backs to the front counter in the kitchen area. Waited a couple minutes for some acknowledgement to no avail then finally my boyfriend got their attention with a politely raised voice. Our XL pepperoni/sausage/mushroom/olive was ready. Checked the pizza before we left to make sure it was correct (it was) and asked for parmesan and red pepper flakes. Paper plates and napkins weren't offered and we forgot to ask for some. The pizza was huge, still hot after 10 minute drive home, and delicious. It had a nice little kick to it, which we attributed to the sausage. Perfect amount of red sauce and toppings, with a good chew on the traditional crust. We've eaten at several Mountain Mike's in the Sacramento area, and it's always been a reliable spot for some good pizza, and this location was no exception. The only thing was it seemed pretty pricey. Maybe because we usually order one of their special deals or have coupons, and this visit we had neither. It ended up being worth the $$ though. I love this place; is honest and serves good pizza. I went in to order a 20 slice pepperoni pizza and my order was placed. My family changed its mind and decided to order a different pizza with wings and cheeses bread. So I went up to the lady that took my order and told her if I can change my order even though it was placed already. She didn't hesitate and canceled my order and got me set up with the new order. 12/22/18- ordered 4 pizzas from the wrong mountain mikes. I live near the one on first and Shaw. So I had to drive to this one on Shaw and Brawley... my mistake! I get home to a girls party with 10 people here. The birthday girl get the first 2 slices and it had 2 long black hairs in them!! Super embarrassing with my guest here and everyone having to analyze the rest of the slices they got... so we set that pizza to the side... I figured maybe it's only it in those 2 slices, she grabs 2 more and sure enough 2 more baked I the crust. Won't make the mistake of ordering at the wrong one.... Went here with about ten coworkers for lunch. You really can't beat their buy one get one free lunch buffet deal. They were quick to put out a great variety of pizzas and the salad bar was fresh and well stocked. I really Iike their pizza too. Don't know what else I could ask for. Used to frequent the Sanger location a lot when I lived there because their pizza is delicious and the service there is great. Wish I could say the same about this location. Ordered a mountain size pizza for a group of friends as well as an order of chicken wings and I guess they stop doing delivery an hour and a half before they close which I thought was weird but whatever, pickup it is. A friend picked up the order and brought back the pizza and a sandwich that we didn't order. Based on the smell my guess is chicken tikka masala but nothing any of us wanted. No big deal usually. Called back to bring it up and the lady was super rude on the phone, questioning what was wrong with the order, then asked us to return the sandwich for proof that they messed up. Mistakes happen, it's fine, but own up and fix it it's not a big deal. When picking up the wings the workers were rude again and gave us old and cold wings. Probably won't return. It was 15 min later until I received my pizza. The toppings was very disappointing due to the amount of meat it had in it, I ordered the pikes peak (all meat). Man the pizza here sure is awesome. We came here as a family to get some pizza and I just love Mountain Mike's as a brand they have really good pizza and really good selection I am in the coupon club so I seen a coupon and it was a really good deal but decided to get them out in size and it came out to about $47 including a drink which was a bit high of a price for just trying to casually have a low-key dinner with my family in a pizza joint. The menu is very clear and their signature pizzas have lots of delicious flavors and lots of fresh ingredients there was even a salad bar where you could order all you can eat Salad. We came in and gave our order and had a seat and I noticed under the table was a large amount of food and napkins and we decided to move tables out to give the employees a chance to clean under the table because it was a lot of food on the floor. We move to a cleaner table and I just have to mention that it never got cleaned. More than that they delivered our pizza order to the wrong table and that family was nice enough to not start eating the pizza right away so we got our pizza from their table. The staff must have been busy that night it took a while for the pizza to come to the table and they never came to us to double check and make sure that we got our order even though they put on the wrong table. Other than those few small things the food was really good. They also had a game room and a slightly blocked off section if you wanted to have a party. In the game room there was a machine that took our money but did not operate and there is a sign posted that says play at your own risk. They were also playing the game on the flat screens they had in the restaurant they also serve beer. So this is a good place for kids and if you want to watch sports. read more

Pizza is ok, nothing special, boneless wings are not wings at all, they are breaded chicken nuggets! For people that can't eat breads this was very upsetting.
