Today we wanted pizza and salad so we stopped at Pizza Factory on First and Nees, in Fresno. It is small but they always say hello when we walk in. The football game was up on the big screen, there were several people eating and talking. We ordered and got our plates and cups. Found a table and sat down. Once we got situated we got up and made our salads, picked our drinks, sat down waiting for our pizza. We got a combo large, and all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar was fresh, nicely sliced and chopped offerings. A good selection. But I have seen better. The dressings were good. The pizza came fresh from the oven, very hot! Juicy and cheesy! Lots of meat not so much veggies. Guess we need to look closer at the menu. Our visit was good, we enjoyed our lunch. I am sure we will go back. We've eaten here a couple times since moving to Riverstone. The first time we went in for their salad bar, the pizza was okay but they were ending the salad bar soon so it tasted like it had been under the warmer for a long time and the salad was kind of soggy. We recently ordered a whole pizza for takeout and it was so good. We also tried the potato wedges and they were very yummy as well. I would definitely recommend ordering out or getting a fresh pizza over the salad bar. read more

Terrible service young kid took forever to pop out from the back after 5 minutes he finally came to the register only to be on his phone still. I finally got my order taken he walked to the back after handling money and still on his phone when he decided to make my sandwich not washing his hands which is disgusting and unsanitary. Been here several times over the years. Salad is always good and fresh with at least six different kinds of dressing. It saddens me to write this review. I have been a faithful customer for years! BUT lately, they are running out of product like cheese, ranch dressing and basic menu Items. Restrooms out of order for days! The owners use to be on site and made sure everything was great. Sadly. The staff are marginal and not problem solvers. Honestly, this will probably be my last visit to this Pizza Factory. The pizza came out overly greasy (it was unappealing), and the wait was over 25 minutes -- which felt especially long given that the staff spent most of the time chatting across the kitchen, loud enough for the entire place to hear, and weren't wearing gloves while preparing food. The crust was also noticeably hard. It's disappointing because we've been coming here for years, but the quality has clearly declined, and the service now feels inattentive and, at times, rude. At one point, a party came in (with a pre-reservation) and had to move their own tables without any assistance, while the staff continued chatting instead of helping. Today is Lent, so we ordered a large cheese pizza. I was sitting right next to my fiancé when he placed the order and clearly heard him say large cheese pizza. He pays, gets back to the car, open the box -- it's pepperoni. Simple mistake, right? Apparently not. When my fiancé went back inside, the owner immediately got defensive and insisted he "specifically heard pepperoni." No apology...No attempt to fix it. Just ego. Instead of correcting the order and taking back the pizza we weren't going to eat, he argued back and forth like a child who refuses to admit they're wrong. Then he had the audacity to offer to sell us a $10 cheese pizza -- as if we should pay extra for his mistake. Asked for a refund and was hit with " I'm the owner and I can't do a refund on something that was YOUR mistake" It was arrogant, prideful, and completely unprofessional. The whole interaction screamed, "I care more about being right than keeping customers." If this is how the owner handles a simple mix-up, I can't imagine how he deals with real problems. We won't be back, and now I finally understand why the owner works ALL the time by himself, can't keep any employees or returning customers. 2/27/24 Getting lunch! I ordered a veggie calzone with chicken added. The worker was nice. 35 minute wait until it would be ready! Unfortunately, they are out of cinnamon stix & crushed pepper. FYI! Total given and waited until it got closer. Arrived to pick up. Nice restaurant. Safe, clean & practiced. I paid for the order & left. Until... They didn't give tomato sauce. I had to go back in and get it and it was really small container for 1. Especially with it being such a large calzone. I ended up having to pay for another Super small container. A bit much after already paying A LOT for the large calzone. Really unfair. Lunchtime! Calzone split. My half was okay. Definitely don't recommend! Especially with paying extra for chicken. Only, like 5/6 tiny tiny pieces in it. Another, not fair. =/ The half was large too! I had leftovers! Mother felt the same. Good service, okay calzone. It definitely wasn't worth the price I paid. Several issues. Pizza was 30 minutes late. I called when it was 15 minutes and after I told her she put me on hold but cut me off. I called back several time until they called me and said 6 .more minutes. When the Pizza arrived it looked was dropped and was crushed to the side. The driver was also very rude. I thi k because she was lost. They did not sent the sause for the cheese bread or the packets of cheese or peppers. I called the store and she said if we bring the pizza back they can remake it. We had to return the delivery we paid to get to get it correct. She said that is all they can do. Last order from them. We order here regularly and it's always been great until the last 2 times. The cheese has smelt so bad that the 1st time I was unable to stomach it and eat it and we had ordered right before they closed so we couldn't call about it. The 2nd time I asked before we ordered if they had changed their cheese and the response was no. We ordered and again it was the same. I can't say exactly why this has continued to be an issue but the cheese seems spoiled and I won't risk ordering for the 3rd time since they claim no changes have been made to their product. This is not our 1st rodeo with PF. I have been purchasing pizza here for 15+ years all over the state at least once a month. I am pretty sure our extra pineapple was an after thought. We order the Awesome Combo Pizza and garlic cheese bread every time we come here. The pizza is packed with meat and veggies, the crust is soft but yet also crunchy, and the pizza actually tastes just as good warmed up the next day. At 6:15 I get a notice that my order is running late and now scheduled for 6:15 to 6:25. My Guests have already arrived. At 6:20 I get notified that my order has been canceled. The door dasher shows up with part of another order from a different business and says " Pizza Factory claimed the pizzas were already picked up by someone else." I had to scramble and leave to pick up from a different pizza place which made dinner an hour and a half late. Pizza Factory is typically our go to pizza. They can improve the experience. We ordered pizza to go and a pitcher to enjoy while we waited and then some. They let us know our pizza was ready (and it was put on top of the oven as they do/expected). We finished our beer and then grabbed our pizza and sides of ranch and jalapenos. Welp not a big deal but enough to be annoying and an opportunity to improve the customer experience - My guy checked the sides and felt that the ranch under the jalapenos at the bottom of the bag that was on top of the pizza box on the oven was warmish and the lid was pressurized so he asked for cold ranch because of this. He shared again why he was asking for cold, because the ranch was warmish in the bag on the hot pizza, on the oven. The reply "that is how we do it for all customers." This location is horrible!! First time at this location since we frequent the Madera Ranchos location mostly. Our bill came to $112.08 after the product would have been cheaper online. We were charged extra for light sauce. So basically we were charged more for removing extra sauce. We were also unaware of a credit card charge of $5.00. We brought this to the workers attention and she said she couldn't removed extra charge for removing sauce. So we asked for the manager and she stated she was the manager. So we asked for her manager and said she couldn't give that info out and wouldn't provide an email. Tasted kind of like low quality hotdog meat. Need to use higher quality ingredients. The other topping pizza was good since it didn't pepperoni on it but small sized ingredient pieces and not very much topping. The prices are high. It WAS a dirty, low quality, turd of a pizza factory for a long time. NOT ANY MORE! Rest assured this location has stepped its game up BIG TIME!
