Turns out the second dentist didn't see any work I needed to get done. I was shocked to go from drilling countless spots in my mouth to no work needed. Now it's 01/06/2026 and I just went and got x rays again and told good job no extra work besides cleaning needed today at another dentist. I'm so glad I didn't go to grand oaks for a crown and multiple fillings I didn't need and trusted my gut. It's been years and my teeth are fine contrary to what this office said(they made it sound like my teeth were horrible and needed this work asap) Id never return to such a greedy and predatory dental office that's obviously only looking to make extra money and give you dental work you don't need. The office itself is welcoming and the folks at the front desk are so kind, patient, and understanding. A small detail that really makes my day is seeing my name written on the chalkboard when I arrived--it made me feel special and cared for. I had some difficulty keeping up with my treatment plan, and instead of making me feel ashamed or rushed, the staff worked with me to break it into affordable steps. The flexibility and compassion really took a weight off my shoulders (life is hard)! Even when I rescheduled my appointment (more than once.. sorry). I learned so much about myself and they were so thorough. Dr. Ip, Shae, and Grace were all such a pleasure. On this visit, I learned that I have a deviated septum and also a tight oral frenulum. These might be why I have breathing problems at night. The team was never pushy with trying to sell me on services or products which I really appreciated. They have such cool technology that really gives me an in depth overview of my oral health. The only thing I would recommend is if they played music in the lobby or something.
