They ain't no amateurs---these are the Proz!! I've tried Freshly, Everyplate, Homefresh, a couple of others... It works for some but it doesn't cut it for me. What amazingly works well is Meal Proz!! They rotate the meal selection every Sunday/Thursday and it is FRESHHHH. They also have a machine that will scan you and print out your metrics for at no charge if you're on a meal plan. I wish I knew about their service earlier! The staff has been great during my interactions with them. Nick (The owner) shows extreme care and passion for sharing his craft/knowledge/wisdom with others. Let me start off by saying the food is amazing. It's fresh and prepared well. No complaints on that part ever. If I were to suggest anything to anyone though it would be to not use the delivery method and just pick it up from the store. The person they use to deliver the food is an outside contractor and is pretty unreliable. She will give you a time saying things like " I will be to you before 530" but that could literally mean 1 o'clock or 525. I don't know who just sits at home all day waiting for their meal prep to get dropped off but I unfortunately do not have the capability to do that. Also anytime the time frame changes it's a "family emergency " ( has used this reasoning several times in the months I've used their service). All in all food is great but delivery is sub par. Update: after the interaction I received in response to getting a little heads up on delivery time I will not be using this service anyone . I'd be careful of who you have working for you and representing your brand . read more

The company also has great communication & are quick to answer any questions. They have good meals but the service is undependable. I bought from them for about a year and a half. Started out great, but staff changes and I would go to the Gattis School Rd. location and they would not be able to find my meals. After I left and would get all the way back to Georgetown the would call me and tell me they found them behind another package. I tried paying the delivery fee and that did not work either. Sometimes the driver would not show up until 9:30 on Sunday night. One time she texted me that she would not be able to deliver before midnight. I recently switched to pick up at Fact Fitness because it was a little more convenient for me to pick up. Three out of the five times I have went to pick up there was a problem. One time they messed up and delivered them to the Gattis School Rd. location and I spoke to Nick tge owner he said oopsie. So after driving to Fact Fitness I was told to go pick up at Gattis School Rd. I got an apology, but no offer to comp me for my inconvenience. Today was the last straw. I showed up at Fact Fitness to pick up my meals and guess what.... They were not there. Talked to Nick the owner again and got the BS story that the delivery driver had not made it to Fact Fitness to drop off my meals. He said I could call him each time ahead of time to find out when my meals would be there. I am sorry but my time is valuable and I do not have all day Sunday to chase down my Meal Proz. I ask for a refund and will move on to a more dependable service. Even UPS and FedX are more dependable. read more

The gang at Meal Pros really knows about nutrition. Lot of buff guys work here which gives them extra credibility. I signed up for the 30-day challenge with the goal of winning a weight loss challenge at my local gym. My wife and I shared a 4-meal a day plan, each eating 2 of their meals a day and supplementing with our own homemade meals. Being that we have a newborn baby with minimal time to cook, Meal Pros proved to be crucial to our dietary success. With Meal Pros' help, over a 6-week period I was able to lose 35 pounds and took home the grand prize of $1,000 for the challenge. The meals taste great, are filling, and the staff are very flexible with special requests or dietary restrictions. That was no exaggeration on the part of my reviewer colleagues. The meal I just finished was insanely delicious. All of the food is incredibly vibrant, healthy and fresh, and just so perfectly cooked! The praise has to go to the talent of the chef, because the execution of all this healthful deliciousness is quite clever. I signed up with Meal Pros because I was feeling exhausted, run down, puffy and undernourished. I now feel better fed than if I had a farmer grandma making me veggies every few hours over a cast-iron stove. It costs a bit, true, but put two weeks of the "30 day challenge" on a card and consider it money well-spent. Customer service is great and accommodating. My company provides healthy breakfast, and lunch options for the most part, so I was only looking for dinners. I allow myself to cheat for 2 dinners on the weekends, bc this is ATX and the food is just too good to go without completely! Anyway, haven't changed anything else in my life, and I've been very consistent going every week to see Wendy and NIck, buy 6-7 meals, and spend $60ish each week compared to $100-$130 before. I've lost about 10 pounds and have completely eliminated the daily dinner decision and time and stress that goes with it...well other than choosing with meal I'm going to eat. My favs: Planko Salmon, Tinga Chicken Enchiladas, Shredder Steak, and Quinoa Turkey Meatballs. You won't be disappointed. read more

Beware. I was with this company when they were mealpro. They went out of business and took our money. For months the owner, nick, promised he was refunding us. We never got refunded. He kept saying it wasnt his fault and it was the company they charge through. Once they came back as mealproz he jumped back to give us 3 weeks worth of food and ignored the fact that we wanted our money and not meals. We were over it, but taking the meals was the only way we would get anything so we opted to just take the meals in the end. Then both me and my husband got food poisoning from the meals. The food is healthy, filling, and doesn't taste like I'm eating health food (lookin at you Snap Kitchen). Highly suggest: Turkey Mac n Cheese, Turkey Lasagna, and the Chicken Fried Rice (tastes like I ordered takeout with none of the guilt). Beware. We were customers when this company was under mealpro. When they went out of business they took our money with them. We were disappointed bc we were with nick for at least a year before this. We waited a few months where nick tried to reassure us they were just about to be back in business. We finally had enough and asked for a refund. Nick said he would refund us. We never got our money. I kept contacting him telling him we have received nothing and he kept telling us it was the company that he uses to pay through, it was there fault. Months later he went back into business as mealproz. He just jumped back in and gave us the 3 weeks of meals that he said he would refund us for. We knew this was the only way we were going to get anything back. Food was mediocre, but never again would I trust this guy with money of ours or would we support someone with such poor business ethics. So please be careful paying anything in advance. read more

Been coming here for over a year. Watched the business grow and they just kept on improving and grinding to bring a premier meal prep place in the Austin Market. There used to be 3 main players in this field here in Austin. Gone is my fit Foods and the main two left are meal pros and snap kitchen. I'm not taking anything away from snap as they are solid but meal pros just seems to be more Austin Authentic. The main owner Nick is always around or gives you his cell number to ask any nutrition question you can think of. They are always willing to go the extra mile. The other day I got there after hours and he drove back and opened there trailer for me. That is frikkin service!! Who does that now a days? Well that's how you earn a customer for life and that's what I mean by Austin authentic. No Corporate here. Now that we talked about the service, let's talk about the food. Who said healthy couldn't be tasty? They have over 20 different meals to choose from, and they serve different diets/tastes. Gluten Free, Paleo, Low Carb, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Baptist, you know the norm. I've tried almost everything including some of there newer dishes (they are always updating there menu and experimenting with different recipes. My new absolute favorite are the quinoa meatballs! Now das a meabow! Couldn't tell it was a healthy alternative. I only wish there was more then 3 in a package but it's meant to be more of a snack. I love the quinoa breakfast bowl, turkey breakfast bowl, sweet potato hash, mojito chicken, cashew chicken, and the turkey Mac ! Do yourself a favor and go see these guys. I recently lost 20 lbs with meal pros for my nutrition and Orangetheory for fitness. This was thanks to there inbody machine which I believe they let you use for free if your on there 30 day meal plan... let's be honest folks, You need about 30 days to see real results. Eating healthy for a day or week may make you feel better but your body needs more time if it's gonna change. The inbody will tell you your body composition including lean muscle, fat, and water weight and approx how many calories per day to take in so they can send you off with the right prescription.
