We also tried extras just because, like their oreo pie and strawberries in the snow - yum! I love desserts. But even more than that, everyone LOVED the Tuscan chicken. Pork tenderloin could have been a little more moist according to family/friends but overall they really enjoyed the food. There were some complaints in other reviews on size of crackers/cheese display and charcuterie: we had no issues. The items may have come in trays but they set up so beautifully. Loved the wooden chafers. Only cons - communication sometimes was delayed, and the silverware/drinks were not enough for the large group we had. Some offered to buy more gallons of drinks because we ran out, and get more plasticware because we ran out of that as well. read more

I was able to go to Meals by Misty at the Trussville location. The store location is so beautiful inside especially for the holidays. They have fridges full of food stocked for purchase. Please use my images to choose some holiday meals! Must haves this holiday season! There is a location also In Homewood if you aren't close to Trussville. The staff at the location were truly friendly, helpful! Not everyone cooks so they may not know the details but can figure it out for you. The building is small but selecting foods for purchase is a large task! I really hope that you can get to a spot and order before the end of the holidays. The holiday menu is a winner! When we moved to this side of Trussville, I was super happy to have Misty close by to try out! She's just a hip and a skip away from me! There are meals, sides, and snacks in both the refrigerated section and freezer section - everything we've had so far has been good! Chicken poppy, sliders, and the honey shrimp, broccoli, and rice! And if you follow her on instagram, you'll find out when she's having deals/specials. I love the convenience of meals by Misty but most of the time the food has too much pepper and my kids think it's "spicy" because of that. I did love the chicken poppy, did have a little kick to it, and their peanut butter bites are to die for although they've gotten pretty pricey! read more

We love Meals by Misty! Every meal we have had so far has been amazing! The poppyseed chicken or "Chicken Poppy" is probably our favorite of all! So far we have tried enchiladas casserole, BBQ mac and cheese, lasagna, roasted vegetables, and sausage balls. Everything is delicious even after being frozen and reheated! Also available is homemade snacks like peanut butter power balls, seasoned crackers and chicken salad. You can also stop by and grab lunch to go. My friend decided to order charcuterie for a baby shower with 35 people. Based on the menu, it sounds like an excellent option to save time and effort. With a heavy price tag of 8 dollars per person, you expect to have all your food covered. Today she received two trays that are CLEARLY not 8 dollars worth of food per person. When she emailed about her disappointment, the response was that there was 2.5 oz of meat and cheese per person and that the rest is "grazing." This is not explained on the menu. The trays only included less than 30 tomatoes and cucumbers each. Her guests will not even be able to all have a tomato or cucumber!! We estimated that each guest can have about 2 oyster crackers. We also counted 64 slices of meat, so not every guest will even be able to have 2 SLICES of meat. The pattern seems about the same for the rest of the food options. I don't know how anyone could justify this as covering 35 people with 8 dollars per person. I personally believe this is the biggest scam. I'm so disappointed and angry for my friend. There needs to be more clarification on the menu in what you're receiving. Do not order the charcuterie. read more
