Took the family here for the first time, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the quality of the meat for the grill was noticeably better than at other places in the area. Even the grills were working properly, which made the meal much more enjoyable. It seems like they regularly maintain their equipment, and it definitely shows. The service was excellent, and the restrooms were clean as well. Overall, this is definitely going on our list of favorite places to come back to for dinner. read more

Meat Salon Korean BBQ is an excellent place to get your kbbq on. We walked in on a Friday night around 5:30PM and were seated immediately. We really liked the high quality meat and interesting items. The Korean tartare was super interesting and really delicious. Fried kimchee was something I didn't know I needed in my life. We did a walk in for mother's day, but also checked the yelp app because sometimes it will let you reserved seats. As she came by i started ordering our basic order 2 brisket porkbelly rice steamed eggs and sides. So we can get the grill going, then when it came started ordering a soup. Our first round of meat went by very quick and our server that was bringing food at the table beside us we were trying to catch her attention to order more because weve been out of meat for a good minute and our grill was smoking and she said you want to change grill we said share but we are also out of meat if can put more orders in. I feel like she could have been more attentive multi tasking, if shes serving the other table besides us if thats was me i would be eyeing the other tables i serve so i can anticipate if im needing or just check and see if they me or something instead of us waving turning heads and food settling in and getting full instead of meat keeps coming. In the middle of the 2nd wave there was a shift change and we had a new guy came, now even we were almost done and full due to that break of not having to order right away he came and said do we need more meat or sides or water the types that you expect a server to do. That i felt that our first server was missing and i felt the guy came often just to ask if need anything else etc which i felt the lady should have done, i think we shouldn't have to wait a hot minute to order more or have a hard tike flagging the lady servicing us while she came to the other table more often then she came to ours. I can't believe we JUST found this place! Honestly I think it's one of the very few ones I actually like around here. There was another one but after they changed it was ... no longer my favorite. Meat selection was great and really loved that they have yookhwe (Korean steak tartare) on their premium AYCE list. It was a little salty but it was still delicious! We love Meat Salon, and have been coming here several times a month! The prices are fair, and the quality of the meats are very good! Choose your items, and the food is delivery very quickly! The servers here are very efficient, and constantly check on us. Never had anything here that was not up to par, but my recommendations are the rib eye steak and the kalbi short ribs! The rib eye is very tender, and the kalbi is very flavorful and meaty! Meat selection is good too. 1 star our of for luck of servers. Our server was super nice, but she was all along with at least 20 customers. We had beef belly, pork belly, more beef and within the span of an hour we capped it off with green tea ice cream. We were full but not hurting full - still able to function. This used to be the old honey pig KBBQ. I think they kept most of their interior design still. The quality is still very good. They also offer the rice paper wraps for the meat. Meat Salon has quickly become our new favorite KBBQ spot. I especially love going when it's not too crowded because the service is top-notch. The staff always gives the best recommendations, and we've tried some amazing dishes like the garlic beef belly, ribeye (they even showed us their fav technique for grilling it, which was pouring butter on the grill, adding a bit of the roasted salt and pepper, then placing the ribeye on top and moving it around on the butter, then seasoning the top with more salt -- it's addicting trust me on that), beef rib fingers, and boneless short rib. We usually skip seafood and chicken and stick with the beef or pork options. The brisket sauce is delicious, as well as the salt & pepper mix with sesame oil. This a must from all kbbq spots for me ;) For sides, my go-to's are deep-fried marinated pork, japchae, deep-fried kimchee, and gyoza. They're all so flavorful and complement the meats perfectly. For dessert, I always go for the coconut melona bar (my son insists on the strawberry chocolate one), and you can't leave without finishing your meal with hot green tea. I've been here with just my husband, with our kids, and we even reserved their larger room for a dinner with our extended family. Every time, it's been a fantastic experience! Busier nights, just expect a little slower service, so order larger amounts if you can. Very disappointed in the service that was given. Let's start by sitting down at a table at 10:10 PM our server was kind and nice and he explained the menu after asking about it. We order our first round of food. That took some time to get to us, but we did see how busy they were. However we now see 7 other tables get seated 2 of which were a bigger group. We stopped the waiter 2 times and ask kindly if we can get our side dishes that we reminded about not getting them yet, he says I'm sorry let me check. It is now currently 11:00 PM no side dishes and not one waiter to stop at our table or check in on us. I do understand that you are busy, but we look around and all 7 other tables have their food and side dishes and are being checked on continuously. We now stop the waitress (who was working very hard) and ask her if we can put an order in, she takes our order and we wait as the original waiter that sat us did not check in on us at all after seating wen we arrived. Now the time is 11:27 PM still no food no meats and yet alone still no side dishes still after asking a third time. I stop the waitress again and ask if I can please speak to a manager. Our meats magically appears at 11:34 PM right after I ask to speak to the manager. Still no side dishes or rice arrive at our table. Manager arrives at our table at 11:43 PM to apologize. We ask the manager if we were to leave what would be the charge. He says he would take 30 percent off our bill. Mind you we got 4 pieces of Kalbi, small order of brisket and 1 order beef tounge in the whole hour in a half that we waited and there's 4 of us in our party. Very disappointed in the lack of service and the way they handled the situation. ALL IN ALL terrible. Manager then gave us 50% off after we went back and forth explaining how no one checked on our table at all, the grill was browning from the flame since we didn't have any meats to cook , we didn't get any of our side dishes that was requested multiple times even after other tables where seated after our table and they where serviced faster than us , and we had to wave down people to come to our table. We were also not the only table in the restaurant who felt this way , we did see multiple tables look frustrated 4 lack of service as well. read more

This place has become my go-to Korean BBQ place! I've been here over 5 times and cannot find anything I would complain about. It's a small restaurant and offers Korean BBQ like the other places, but the quality and the sides dishes are non-comparable. Normally we come in during dinner to get their Beef Tartare because no other place does it, but we stopped in last week and did their late night special which was only $25 and I was so surprised at how much food it was along with the quality. They do not skimp on quality at all! All my native Korean friends who visit cannot stop raving about this place and I have nothing bad to say about it at all! Tldr: food was authentic, service was not. Would I eat here again? Never. Two stars because the only hard working person was the girl who sat us down. I came here because of the reviews. When we got here, a girl with glasses greeted us as sat us down. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to take our order which was the girl. Food came out promptly even though the tables were getting full. I usually order everything at once to save the workers time. After we got our food, everything tasted great and it was authentic (I am korean btw!). After was where the problem occurred.... No one ever came to check on us again... no asking if we needed anything or wanting to order more. We had to flag someone down and make continuous eye contact... it got awkward. I am not the type to pester workers as if you have a good flow, you will get to us when you can. When we finally got someone. It was probably the owner. Korean lady who didnt seem like she even wanted to be there. We ordered a couple things including the lettuce wrap. When she came back with it.. there were only two pieces in there and she said.. its limited and thats all we are getting... (only starred items are limited to one per person... this was not). Okay, so you are stingy about lettuce and dont want to help us as it is. Our grill was burning but the other random lady changed out the other tables grill and not ours.. i sat there staring as it was burning.. i had to turn down the heat because the smoke was getting crazy. I have more to say but i think this paints a picture. At the end of our meal. We had to wait 15 minutes because the only person who gave a damn was the girl with the glasses who is deserving of a better job. She gave us our bill and was scrambling around because the other 4 useless workers didnt want to help. I could see her eyes as she darted around the room for assistance. Because I had to wait a long time for my bill... i digested... went into my car and about halfway home..... i had to poop and all I could think about was "if they had just all been helping each other, i could have probably been sitting on my toilet" but nope... here I am, hitting every red light and squeezing my cheeks for dear life. First time at Meat Salon and it definitely won't be the last. Came on a Tuesday night and was super impressed. Easily the best Korean BBQ spot in Silverado Ranch. It's in a great location with lots of parking, which is always a plus. We had the premium BBQ menu--highly recommend! Out of the kbbq that is outside of Chinatown, this place is quite possibly the best. The cuts of meat were so marbled and delicious along with quality sundubu-jjigae. I really like the food here! The garlic sauce for the beef and pork belly is to die for! Sometimes when we go, the service is a little all over the place. So there can be longer waits in between meats but I've started to just do double orders when I go to avoid that. It's definitely a much better addition to the neighborhood than the previous business. I've returned to Yelp to share how much my bf and I love Meat Salon for ayce korean bbq. We've tried quite a few korean bbq spots already, and feel Meat Salon has consistently come up top for us. When we do korean bbq, we usually go for brisket, steaks, and beef belly. After visiting Meat Salon at least 3 times already, we find that their meat quality has been stellar, where it's something that we'd remember. They also offer really yummy bachan and sides. My favorites are their corn cheese, pickled radish, tteokbokki, and kimchi. Unfortunately and ironically, I am allergic to sesame so sometimes it can be difficult to find a spot where I'll have many sides and sauces to choose from. Lucky for us, we've had the same staff member who graciously greets us and remembers my sesame allergy. She reminds me of a welcoming mom and charming game host, who knows how to effortlessly delight people. For me personally, I appreciate how she brings out stuff that I can eat and double checks what I can't eat. Overall, their staff is efficient and proactive, where they'll immediately change our grills and check in on us. We got the ribeye, brisket, thick pork belly, garlic shrimp, bulgogi, short ribs, and a ton of the appetizers. Everything was great but I particularly liked the ribeye, short ribs, and brisket a lot. The fried mandu and tteokbokki were also a hit among us. The corn cheese did not have much cheese on it. I really liked the cabbage kimchi, my friend's favorite was the bean sprout one, and her husband likes the cucumber one. The service was basic.
