TLDR: good quality matcha, well-crafted Asian flavors, out of half the menu I tried the ube pudding matcha latte (level 1) for $8.78. The ube cream top was vibrant, both in color and flavor. Unsure where the pudding is supposed to be as it was a normal cream/foam top. The matcha latte itself also has a good flavor. Pretty smooth and not grassy at all. It's also not sweet, so the ube cream top definitely helps add some sweetness/flavor. They have a robust seasonal menu, such as ube, black sesame, tiramisu, etc. Unfortunately, they're out of half of their menu items way too frequently. For instance, on this visit, they were out of the tiramisu syrup, despite it being their June/summer special. They were also out of all level 2 and 3 matcha items. Was in the area waiting for my food to be ready for pickup when I saw Meccha Matcha. My husband and I decided to pop in to get something to drink and ended up ordering the Strawberry Matcha Latte and Yuzu Strawberry Refresher. Both drinks were good but felt like they could be made at home. The Yuzu Strawberry Refresher was really sweet and you could really taste the yuzu, but not so much the strawberry. The Strawberry Matcha Latte was pretty good, but on the lighter side when compared to other strawberry-matcha lattes that I've had elsewhere. The menu has different matcha levels, so maybe next time I'll have to remember to get a higher matcha level. The store is small and was very crowded with lots of younger people. The service was average. We ordered at the kiosk and didn't have to wait too long for our drinks to be made. I tried Meccha Matcha after a friend recommended it and overall thought the quality of the drinks and soft serve was good. Both the Matcha Vanilla Oat Latte and Matcha Strawberry Oat Latte were good, although I would recommend leveling up the matcha level for the vanilla especially. I also tried the Black Sesame ice blended with red bean - wasn't bad but unsurprisingly their matcha drinks were better. The Ube-Matcha mix soft serve was pretty good, although I wish it could be mixed with a higher matcha level than 1. This is my go to matcha spot. I love that it has level matcha like they do in Japan. The shop itself is not very large with a few tables and a small seating area, so I usually take my drink to go. There often is a line, but it moves quickly and the drinks also come out pretty quickly as well. I like that I can customize my drinks to my liking. My go to drinks is usually a level 2 matcha with strawberry, extra sweetened. The drinks here, though sweetened, are not very sweet, in my opinion, so if you like your matcha a little on the sweeter side, get your drink extra sweetened. In an effort to support more local businesses, especially coffee shops, I cannot believe I've slept on this place for years. I love a good matcha latte. Today, I had the best matcha latte of my life.
