This is a very cool building with a great menu and vibe. it can be a little loud so if you are in a big group you might not be able to hear that well. Our waiter was great he made sure we were taken care of but also left us alone so we could enjoy ourselves and made great suggestions on the beer list. We got the duck wings, risotto tots and deviled eggs to share to start. Wings are spicy!! But cooked well and the flavor is good. Risotto tots are awesome. Similar to an arancini but these had better flavor and were crunchier on the outside. Devil eggs were a hit at the table, I prefer more mustard then mayo and these were more mayo then mustard so not my favorite but the texture was spot on. For dinner I got the Caesar salad and bone marrow. Caesar was interesting with fried capers instead of croutons. Dressing was nice and homemade and lettuce was crispy. The bone marrow was great. It was 3 big bones, one was not cooked as well as the other two but the flavor was great and the head of roasted garlic was a great accompaniment. My friends got the ocean risotto which they said was creamy with shellfish cooked perfectly. We got a bread pudding and a chocolate mousse for dessert. Both were delightful. The bread pudding, as one would expect, was quite sweet but the warm, gooey bread pudding was a great ending to a savory meal.

One of the best restaurant names ever, dinner with a large business group was a positive experience. The setting is superb, expertly decorated with a beautiful bar, three great strained glass elements, and a good vibe. BTW, there is some cool Meddlesome Moth swag. I enjoyed my caesar salad, my spaghetti squash main dish, and my truffle fries. The chocolate mousse was tasty. Our server was terrific despite a party of more than a dozen.

Great experience! The interior has a really cool, artsy look. Service was excellent. The food was delicious with bountiful Texas portions! And it came out rather quickly, to boot!

Enjoyed this Restaurant while visiting family in Dallas. We went out to brunch and were seated at a table inside. Placed our orders after we were provided coffee and water. We order appetizers to start with of sticky buns and French toast, their version of it. Everything was very yummy, left everyone happy. I personally tried their Avocado Toast. It was very nice, not my favorite one, however in my top 5 recipes. The atmosphere was pleasant and lively. The services was very good, an we were well taken care of.

Had a great brunch this morning. The service was great and fast and the food was really good too. I had the chilaquiles and it was really good. I would definitely order it again. The place doesn't have a lot of parking but it does have free valet.

TL;DR: Beer list longer than my last relationship, food that makes your taste buds sing, and staff so friendly I almost invited them to Friendsgiving. RIP to my favorite spot.. gone but never forgotten. There's not much to say, but somehow also so much to say. Meddlesome Moth was one of those rare unicorn spots that checked every box like it was gunning for valedictorian of Dallas dining. Let's start with the beer list, extensive doesn't even begin to cover it. It was basically a novella. If you couldn't find something you liked, you probably just hate happiness. The interior? Gorgeous. Like "this would make a great backdrop for my inevitable craft beer blog" kind of gorgeous. High ceilings, moody lighting, that warm wood-and-brick combo that screams, "we're fancy but fun." The patio? Straight-up charming. Like, "let's sit here and talk about our goals and favorite childhood cartoons" charming. And the food... oh, the food. Not just "good for a place with a billion beers." Actually good. Like, "this changed the trajectory of my taste buds" good. The staff? Elite-level. Friendly, attentive, never once judged me for ordering a flight that looked like a tasting seminar. Meddlesome Moth, you beautiful beast. You will be missed. Thank you for the good times, the beer pairings, and the completely unnecessary but deeply appreciated truffle fries.

Very modern and fun restaurant for groups of all sizes! The happy hour drinks are worth the visit, and the appetizers are tasty! Service is fantastic; our servers were attentive and friendly. We sat outside at a long table since we had a big group, and it was shaded and spacious. The parking lot was full during a Tuesday early evening, but there is free street parking a few blocks away

Girl dinner- truffle fries, Ceasar salad, and a dirty martini
    Stefanie D.

Came here on a Sunday night for dinner around 6:30. They have valet parking, and we were sat right away. They have a really extensive cocktail menu, something for everyone and very reasonably priced. My dirty martinis were good and $13 which I would come back for alone. The food menu is a mix of shareable and entrees- like most restaurants today I found the food prices to be a bit over the top for what it was. Example- a caesar salad with chicken was $20. It's a bowl of lettuce with a piece of chicken. Just...how? Was it good? Yes. Was it $20 good? No. I also did a traditional girl dinner and rounded it out with the truffle fries for $10. The flavor was delicious but my only complaint was that the fries were a big pile of tiny little fry pieces- like not even long enough to dip in ketchup with your fingers I had to use a fork or my fingers got dirty. My friend had the shortrib and she enjoyed it- again, probably better priced at $28 than the $36 as it came with a smear of sweet potato and some asparagus. The shareables were all over the place- rice balls to bone marrow to ahi tuna nachos and they were priced almost the same as the entrees for small plates- I will never understand the concept of tapas!!! Charging whole add entree portions for small plates. And when people say well you can order to more to try bc the portions are small- uhhh maybe my stomach can but my wallet cannot. But hey- I'm not the target demographic I guess. Service was a bit absent but fine. Martini saved it all though! With so many restaurants in Dallas I don't know this stood out enough to come back but overall a good time

This place is fine. It does the job. It's the kind of place you take a group that you haven't eaten with before. The food is normal brunch fare. Sticky buns for the table, chicken and waffles, etc. I had the smoked salmon which came with all the fixings but I feel like they should have focused on getting a good bagel or something instead of the slices of sourdough toast. The ambiance is just fine too. I like how it's dim and the music isn't loud but I don't like how empty it was. Also I feel like it was trying to be a fancy place when it didn't need to. The service was good!

When I went to Dallas, we were told to go to this Gastro pub/brewery and man and I glad we did. Everyone loved the food that they got plus the beers were fantastic. I would so go back in a heartbeat and wish that we had it in Tulsa. The ambience was dark, but lit at the same time with plenty of tables outside under the awning inside and even in the brewery itself. We sat in the brewery that was clean with the open floor plan and even a TV for sport.

The cauliflower steak isn't a steak... the plate was lined up pieces of cauliflower, only, then sprinkled with the vegan chimichurri sauce The watermelon salad was mostly arugula and vegan cause we ordered the cheese on the side. Dressing was good. Date had pork belly with marshmallows which he said was 10/10 but he said the pastrami sandwich was 7/10. Cocktails were good. Service and ambiance 10/10

Very good and amazing service. Biggest fan of the bone marrow and the deviled eggs were amazing. I will be returning!

Met a friend here and ate at the bar, was excited to try it in a cool part of town. I can say at the bar, the service was great and all the bartenders had recommendations and were knowledgeable on the menu. Now the food was just OK. I had the pork belly with the marshmallow fluff which was a very weird combination. The fluff was good but with the meat was.....interesting. Also tried the fries, and my friend got the eggplant dish. Everything was very bland. Probably won't return.

The deviled eggs, dragon…read moreroll, and pigs in a blanket were all tasty, and that's honestly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K
