I'm super excited that this restaurant opened in Winter Haven! We went for the first time today and everything we ordered was fantastic: A spinach puff pastry with goat cheese, a falafel sandwich wrap, and a couple appetizers of spicy potatoes and fried cauliflower. The incredibly kind owner and chef came by to ask how things were, and even gave us some hummus to try on the house! The staff was also really attentive and helpful. This place is heaven-sent for anybody trying to cut back on their meat intake in Winter Haven, since they have a few vegan options and plenty of vegetarian ones. Let me preface that this was on a Wednesday at 7:40pm and the restaurant was empty - I see they use the same excuse responding to other reviews that they are "busy" and have live music etc etc and they can't accommodate families because it's a "small space". Not today, buddy. You had two tables occupied. Discriminatory (and it's clear they don't welcome children in their restaurant even though they are across the street from Legoland). Never have we received such terrible service. So, we called twice today. First call was to see what time they closed (which it was confirmed that the last order is to be placed by 8:15pm as stated on the phone by a female and also online). We called again to confirm if they have high chairs or booster seats. PARENTS BE AWARE - they do NOT have high chairs or booster seats. We also made reservations during this call and told the male who answered the phone that we will be there between 7:30pm and 7:45pm and that we will be bringing our own, portable high chair. We arrive at 7:40 and the two females and one male in the back by the register look at each other - probably deciding who is going to deny these customers service (there was one lady with white shoulder length hair who I'm pretty sure made the call and was pretty sure the manager/owner). The male comes up and says they are closing. Oh! But we made reservations for between 7:30 and 7:45. The older waitress steps up and says, we can prepare a to go order for you. Why wait 15-20 mins for a to go order if your establishment doesn't close for another 45 minutes? Reality is, they didn't want to serve us. Here's the thing - don't take two calls confirming that we will be there well before the kitchen closes and then refuse us service. Bad business, bad service. The kicker is...you have a place right across the street from Legoland and yet you don't have high chairs or booster seats! If you don't want to serve kids, just state it on your menu, website and front door. Or mention it on the phone when a customer calls twice. A farce of an establishment. read more

We are about to move to the area so we came to check the new apt. And we were looking for a place to have lunch . I have been to many middle eastern restaurants in different states and this one is on my top 5 ! Great food and great customer service!! updating this review! stopped by for my second time on a Friday night. last time I was here, I had issues with slow and inattentive service. This time, the service issues were much worse. We had to ask 3-4 times for extra napkins, water, and when parts of people's meals were missing, we had to ask 2x before we got it. The waiter said it was late bc everything was made fresh to order, but then miraculously after the second reminder the missing food item came out immediately. After we finished and our entree plates were taken away we were waiting for our server to come up again. He was standing at the register not doing anything. finally we got his attention and asked to order dessert. After it came we had to wait 45 mins for the check. We actually had to ask for it also. After paying we heard the staff members talking about us, saying how we had stayed until close last time (which was again, due having to wait for our checks and having to ask for dessert after waiitng for so long). To top it off, the owner came up and rudely told us to leave. To have the owner and hear staff members complain about your party even though our late departure was due to waiting for a check and no one giving us food, water, utensils, or dessert until we asked multiple times is BAD service. Wow! Wow & Wow! I can't think of a negative on our first visit. We came here because my wife wanted to try it for her 50th birthday. Our party of 6 wanted to try as much as we could so we ordered 5 appetizers; the Stuffed Grape Leaves, the Stuffed Baby Eggplant, the Spicy Potatoes (Medium) and the Falafel. All of which were very good. Very, very good! The hummus and pita was also outstanding. Dinners consisted of 2 Lamb Gyros, Lebanese Pan-Seared Grouper, Colossal Shrimp Skewers, the Mixed Grill 4 Skewers and the Kafta Burger. From the salad to the sides to the main course, everything was cooked perfectly and nothing was left behind! Chris seated us took our drink & appetizer order. Then I think it was Lisa that was our main server. Chris continued to check on us and the owner came out to help as well. We honestly felt like we were sitting with family in their dining room. The food here is fresh and you can taste the hard work that has gone into it. The owners are always at the restaurant. The husband is in the kitchen cooking and his wife is the sweetest host. Each time we have eaten here, she comes by our table. The owner roasts the eggplant for the baba ganoush, daily. We have the eaten the falafels, grape leaves, baba ganoush, hummas, tabouli, each kind of kabob, pita, and the beef shawarma, salad, garlic whip, and Tzatziki. The flavors are tantalizing, and everything we have eaten has been delicious. We visited Mediterranean Fresh Grill while visiting my sister and brother-in-law, who had just moved to the area. This place is a real find!! Our family has lots of experience with Lebanese food, but this place outdid them all! We shared the Mediterranean Sampler to start. The baba ghanoush is so smoky and smooth - eggplant haters will not even know it's eggplant! And the hummus is extra creamy with small pools of olive oil! The tabouleh is fresh and doesn't have that overpowering parsley texture - and the chef spices it with warm spices that please the palate! I had the spinach cheese pastry, and I swear it was so good I almost cried! And my husband's gyro was as big as his head and SO AMAZING! This place will leave you really full, but won't empty your pockets! If you are in Winter Haven, do yourself a favor and eat here! Service was great, too!! read more

we were hunkering for Israeli style food and Lebanon being the northern neighbor their food is a lot like that. we went for lunch. It looked at first that they were understaffed, but as Lisa explained they took about half of the tables out due to Covid-19. We shared an appetizer, had the Kibbeh. It was plated like you would expect from an upscale $$$$$ restaurant. The shells filled with beef and nuts and onions had a sweet flavor, just like it is supposed to be. we both had the lamb gyro dinner, as we were hunkering for gyros. The plate presentation was sublimely and ooh did it taste well. The tzatziki sauce was excellent. My husband ate it all, I had a small to go bag for mine. The salad which we elected as a side was so filled with flavor I hadn't had in a while. we did share the assorted baklava, four different kinds of this sweet honey and nuts dessert, and wow it was like angel food. read more

We went to Legoland a few weeks ago. As much as we love Legoland, the food in the park is beyond atrocious. Thankfully this little gem of a restaurant Is conveniently located right across the street from the Legoland hotel and parking lot. We ordered carry out for dinner and it was spectacular. Truly authentic Lebanese cuisine in the middle of Florida. The mix grill was awesome. Even my daughters burger was fresh and flavorful. My wife's salad was also great. the kebbeh balls were delicious but a tad dry. I can't comment much about the interior but the place seemed very clean. Can't wait to go back ! read more

Absolutely delicious! Tried to call in for pick up but the line was busy so I drove over. The place was packed but they were very professional! They took my order in a timely manner. This was our first time to this new restaurant and know we will be going back. We ordered the hummus for our appetizer which is served with pita. It was the best hummus we have ever had: smooth and delicious. Dinner came with a salad which I would describe as "light Greek salad" (with feta cheese and kalamata olives, fresh greens, and more) -delicious . Www The main course came out too soon. I ordered the Krafa kebabs and my husband ordered the beef kababs. The beef kababs were very good. The ground beef kababs were okay - too dry. I had lunch there recently with one of girlfriends and the experience was interesting to say least. Our waitress was a blonde woman who was very attentive to our table and gave amazing service! The food was great overall, but there was one experience I found, odd... A woman with long blonde hair came to the table and started talking to my friend and me. I presume she was the owner. While we were trying to eat our lunch, and listen to her, she began talking about a subject that was inappropriate to patrons trying to enjoy a meal. She told us how she hit her toe on something and it ripped her toe nail off. She then proceeded to show us the foot it happened on. For a moment I thought she was going to take her sock off and show us. I almost lost my lunch because it was so disgusting listening to her give us the VERY detailed story of how it happened. We were trying to be polite, but it was too much and somewhat unprofessional. I understand talking to tables and trying to introduce yourself and promote the restaurant, but maybe hire someone who can be more professional as well as a better face for the company. Please take advice from your customers, no one wants to hear about the experience you're having with your crusty toe nail.
