After walking about 2 miles and almost getting to my friends house we just had to grab a pepperoni pie. After ordering the pie took about 15 minutes. Not bad... After getting home, i was dying to go for my first slice. The slice was okay i expected a better taste. For something to be fresh the bread tasted a bit old. Not much cheese was spread across the pie neither was the tomato sauce. More grease less tomato sauce. Not a good mix. Would recommend putting more ingredients to make the pizza taste better and not plain. Will try this place 1 more time. read more

Loyalty loyalty loyalty. What I really like about this place is that if you order online they give you reward points. Plus, their pizzas are yummy. I usually get a plain cheese or the bruschetta is good too. The personal Sicilian is amazing - make sure to ask for it well done. The za'taar are my favorite with mariana but, last time I got them they were cold. So gotta ask to warm them up. And the chicken buffalo bites are a zesty punchy taste kick. House salad is fresh too. Top off your pizza night with a sweet treat and ask for a brownie or chocolate chip cookie. read more

Hi, How are you folks doing? I am an American Dominican who grew up around West 189th street on the upper west side of Manhattan. On my 3rd attempt to walk in and order a slice of Pizza from Mediterranean Pizza on west 189th street. I waited like a civilized person for my pizza. Only to be a victim of discrimination. Then they ask you what u want. After everyone else receives a warm slice. Then after 15 minutes of you patiently waiting. They ask to "how can I help you"? They decided to put in a slice for you inside the pizza oven. By this time you realize your a victim of discrimination. And you say: "No thank you". You kindly walk away and say to yourself. This is the 3rd time they do this to me. Hopefully a hire up official reads this and takes action to close this place. Places like this inject the neighborhood with negative energy and hate. This place is good but I don't come here for the pizza. I actually love the crepes this place makes. They're a decent size for the price ($4.95) and they taste REALLY GOOD. This business is always clean and the staff is really nice and helpful. The pizza is okay. Not the best but if it's the only thing open at the time.. I'll buy it. Same for the garlic bread. Ordered a chicken caesar salad for dinner ahead of time on seamless. Order was ready at the prescribed time and was delicious. Will definitely order again if I find myself working at the 191 Street station again. I came to this location without realizing that I had been to the other one... I am not sure if this pizza shop is connected to the other one that I reviewed on Amsterdam, but they do share the same name. This pizza shop is much better than the one on Amsterdam. During the Spring of this year, the pizza tasted delicious, was a generous size and price was $1 for small slice and $2 for regular slice. 4 months later, the $1 pizza is $1.50 which is ok, but the size is smaller than what it used to be, the dough taste like pita bread and hardly any cheese topping. The $2 regular slice is now $2.25, and been skimpy on the cheese or sauce. All it is a slice of undercooked pizza with hardly any flavor or topping, since it barely has cheese or sauce on it. When I asked what happened to the quality and prices, the pizza guy ignored me and afterwards blasted his little radio. A few weeks ago, I overheard the pizza guy talking to whom I guess was the owner, discussing revenue and profits, soon after this pizza shop tanked in food quality and quantity. I really enjoy getting a decent slice for a buck, but when the $1 increased to $1.50 per slice as its portion decreases to a miniature offer, that is outrageous! I mean, this is low-income Washington Heights where they are selling pizza at a higher price for smaller size than downtown where you get a dollar pizza that is a large slice with adequate amount of cheese and a dough that taste great for what a pizza cost on special for $2.00 or less. I like that they have seating booths bistro style floor length open windows. I have been thinking about buying pizza elsewhere and just ordering a can of soda at their pizza establishment, then sit down and eat the better quality and quantity pizza just to protest their toddler size $1.50 slice. I really hope that Pie Pie returns to it practice of making and serving good pizza that the neighborhood patrons will appreciate and buy. Especially, since there is another pizza shop just a block away that is stiff competition, but many preferred Pie Pie due what used to be a good value deal, has seating, and a bistro style atmosphere. Listen to your customer's concern or begin to see loss of profits as your business dwindles down. read more

I just ordered pizza and a salad from here. The food was delivered on time. I ordered through seamless and cannot leave a review on there which is telling. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and a Caesar salad with chicken. There was no pepperoni on the pizza and no chicken on the salad. The salad was also sitting in the hot pizza bag so it was hot. I called and they are sending me another order which is nice but that was only after I asked them to do so. In my opinion when you mess up an order, don't ask me what I want you to do to fix it. Offer me something that is fair. Side note: when the delivery man rang the bell and I answered the door the first thing he said was "sorry" for what, I didn't know at the time. That should have been an omen. read more

I was the last order placed, the person was a little annoyed (I get it I ordered at 11:45 and they close at 12). I ordered a pizza called "The Works" with garlic knots and wanted to order zataar bites since they were $1 and why not try something new. They told me they don't have zataar bites but they can add another garlic knot. I said no thank you just the pizza and 1 order of garlic knots. The food came within 20 minutes and the bill was suppose to be $10.75, the delivery guy came to the door and the bill was $11.25. I called them they didn't answer, the delivery guy told me they added an extra garlic knot and I had to pay for it. I was annoyed at this point so I just close the door and began to eat the pizza.
