Went here after having a hot meal at BCD and was cooked down by their icy grass jelly signature dessert. They come in pretty big bowl that you should share with one or two people. The jelly wasn't too sweet, but a nice layer of thickness to the dessert. Underneath all the toppings you see in the picture is the yummy, soft shaved ice with the much needed cooling to the mouth that I needed after burning my tongue at BCD. There's so much to the menu that I'll definitely come back to try something else afterwards. It was a long line though and you have to wear a mask when in line or walking around. It includes grass jelly, taro balls, and​ ice (with grass jelly flavor). I've added lychee jelly into my dessert and that makes it a bit sweeter. They also give you some creamer to add into your dessert. Meet Fresh, for me, is the perfect after-meal dessert since it's not too sweet and it's refreshing. It won't make you feel gross afterwards. Everything is super balanced and delicious! SERVICE // This is where it loses 1.5 points for me because​ the service is SO SLOW. If you come here, you'll notice that there is always a line out the door. At first, you think, "Wow! This place is popping all the time." This place used to be my favorite dessert place but I will refuse to go there again if they keep the same store manager. I would rather spend extra money and enjoy my time somewhere else. My wife and I went to this location last Sunday around 4:20pm. We ordered our usual Icy Grass Jelly Combo B but was told that we could only order from the LIMITED MENU on the screen. We ordered DOUBLE TARO BALL SIGNATURE. We have never ordered it but since we love taro, Double Taro sounded really good. It turned out that it had one scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of 2 scoops of taro ball. The picture from the TV screen showed 2 PURPLE balls. The manager told me the colors of the TV has been off and there was nothing she could do about it. I asked her since this was my first time ordering it and their TV's color was way off, could they just swap out the ice cream with a taro ball? She told me that substition is not allowed. I told her that how would I know if the TV was displaying wrong information to the customer. This could have been a quick $0.50 fix but she just wouldn't. As a store manager, she could have resolve this issue without breaking a sweat but she just made it worse...a lot worse. When I asked for a refund, she rolled her eyes and acted impatiently. I immediately asked her name and she refused to provide that info. I asked her if I could talk to the store manager and she said she's the store manager. I then asked her where I could file a complaint. She pointed me to a poster that has franchising info. It is so amazing to have this amount of choices of all of this "Taiwan Exquisite Dessert". I left the decision making up to my friend and he chose the Signature Icy Grass Jelly and the Hot Rice Ball Tofu. It was a good contrast for the hot & cold and differing flavors throughout both of them. While he noticed the hot one was only warm, it was still delicious with very soft flavorful rice balls on the bottom and creamy supple tofu floating on top of the delicious sweet warm bath. The Icy Grass Jelly was even better, with the shaved ice keeping it chilled and providing pops of flavorful coldness in between the grass jelly, taro balls, and cream. This place was packed with people for dessert after dinner and even more people paraded as we were leaving. The staff did a great job handling the line and getting the desserts out pretty quickly. There is a decent amount of seating, but it is clearly not always enough at the busier times. I've had a few bites before but last night was actually the first time I sat down and had dessert here. It's particularly Taiwanese style dessert. It's consisted of shaved ice with milk, cream, boba, mochi, jellys, grass jelly, taro and a lot more. I honesty feel it was overrated and overhyped. The price for one bowl was pretty pricey, instead we did a family style. I believe they were doing a promotion this month. It wasn't bad for about less than 25 dollars. They gave us a mountain of shaved ice with ice cream and mochi. Two large sizes of red bean and grass jelly. There were mung bean desserts on the side as well. I thought it was good, it's still overwhelming for the 6 of us. It's chewy, icey, sweet and sugar syrup flavors. Overall, it was good, but I don't think it would be my first suggestion for desserts. It's a smaller location compared to another location I've been to but it's well kept in my opinion. I think it'd be a much harder sell to convince me to come for one of their hot desserts tho. We've tried jellies at one of their main competitors down here but found the texture to be a bit off putting; def prefer the less chewy, slimy version. One order was enough for two so no need to order too many. Came out to about 8$ after tax. This location has a lush, private lot and a garage if you want a bit of coverage from the heat, so there's plenty of free spots to choose from. This place used to be my favorite Taiwanese dessert place, but after today's visit, I give them -1 star if that's a choice. Their horrible service/company policy is unacceptable! You place your order at the counter, and they asked if you want it Togo or eat here(no extra charge if u are ordering Togo). But here is the Trick - is u can't finished your soup at the end and decided u want it Togo, for the larger size soup bowl they will charge you $.25 or $.5 depends who you ask. Also, at the paying station it ask for tips on the screen, and if u happed to be nice and tip them when u pay, you will regret it. You will find out after u pay, not only u have to get the food from the counter once it's ready, they also ask you to bring your dirty dishes back to the kitchen dish drop off area. MeatFresh should not be asking for tips since they are treating themselves like a fast food restaurant now, and they should make their company policy more clean in writing that if you change your mind and needed Togo box later, you need to pay for the Togo box (even though the Togo box is actually free when u place Togo order) When I told them if they are charging me for the Togo box, then they can take it out of the tips I gave earlier. The employee told me she can't do that. But she can refund my order, and recharge my credit card again, as I am ordering Togo, so that she can give me 2 Togo box. This makes NO Sense!!! Also if you want to speak to a store manager, their employee will lie to you saying there's no store manage on site, and they can't even call to reach any managers. But if u stand there long enough, the store manager will finally come out to resolve your complaint. It's one of my favorite place for dessert. The taro balls and sesame rice balls are so good. The mini boba is soft and not hard. Service here is alright. I always feel a little rushed and have been ignored by the workers a few times when I needed help. Other than service, the store itself has plenty of seating both inside and outside. The desserts here are much cheaper than similar dessert places. I got the build your own bowl this time with the Icy Grass Jelly base. We added additional servings of ice cream, mini taro balls, boba, and rice balls. After I posted my review last Sunday evening , I received a message from Angela that same night asking for my information(ie Name, phone number, address, and email) to formally apologize. I responded and told her I only wanted a refund and no other compensation. Who would want to take advantage of businesses, especially during time like this? Well the message got passed onto Andre from Meet Fresh USA marketing department and he emailed me the following day. He told me he couldn't refund my orders but had communicated with Meet Fresh that I could redeem the orders that were missed previously by showing his email. This company truly has great communication system, because when I came in to pick up my mobile order and asked to add 2 orders of sesame black balls, the shift leader knew exactly who I was! She asked if I had emailed the company regarding our previous missed orders. When I said yes, she prepared the sesame balls for me right away and apologized about last time. I was introduced by my cousin in their Irvine, CA location way back. I was so happy that they have one here in Cupertino. You have a variety of drinks and desserts to choose from and prices are reasonable. There's always a line here in both locations I have visited, so prepare for that. The ambiance is casual and family oriented. I give it 4 stars for the reason that the store is so busy that they don't have time to clean up the eating area.
