    Delicious Chocolate desert.

Cakes are good , They have an assortment of sandwiches and Cuban breakfasts that are tasty. I bought a chocolate cake and you'll see in the picture that it is Mainly an dessert , very little cake and a lot of mouse, it is incredibly delicious but I want you to see the amount of cake you are getting . This cake is always a hit at work , it is not too sweet or greasy . If you want more cake buy the regular rectangular they have. I do recommend this place.

    Nice ! Full menu

This is my second time at this location. My girlfriend and I were in the area and remembered how much we enjoyed the pastries here. This bakery is located in a shopping plaza behind a gas station on red rd. They always have great options here and everything is super affordable and delicious. I have never had a pastry here that I didn't fully enjoy. This time around we purchased some senorita cakes (similar to a napoleon), 2 marquesita cakes (coconut cake), flan, pudin (bread pudding), and Cuban crackers. The senorita cakes are always great here- flaky, crisp pastry dough that is never soggy or stale, delicious cream filling on each layer dusted with powdered sugar. Yum! Now on to my favorite; the Marquesita cake. This moist delicious coconut cake with creamy filling between the 2 layers was my absolute favorite. I've never tried this before and wanted to try something new. So glad I ordered this. Perfect coconut flavor, coconut pieces and custard. Perfectly sweet and overall the best dessert in my opinion. My girlfriend thinks is really sweet and feels guilty eating this but she admitted it was delicious, and I ignored her hahah. This cake is the bees knees. My girlfriend's favorite was the bread pudding. I admit it was delicious but it's not my favorite type of dessert. She enjoyed how moist it was and the overall flavor she described as a traditional Hispanic bread pudding. I agree, it was one of the best I've tried. The flan was great as well. I love Cuban crackers and wish this place was closer to home because these crackers beat out the supermarket brands ANY day! These go so well with butter but I could eat these by themselves and enjoy them just as much. This bakery never fails. If you are in the area, you are missing out if you don't pick up a few things. There is something for everyone here and the prices can't be beat. Must try!

Great spot for Cuban pastries and sandwiches! I was in the Area with my boyfriend after looking at some apartments nearby. I of course turned to Yelp for some lunch and in Hialeah, what's better than getting Cuban food? We wanted something quick so I found Mega Bakery. *disclaimer: I am a Asian reviewing Cuban food, however I was raised on Miami and had Cuban baby sitters for years.* doesn't mean I'm an expert but this definitely isn't my first Cuban meal. Anyway.. Coming in, it looks like your typical Cuban bakery. None of the workers present at the time spoke English but they were still plenty friendly. I was able to get my order in without a problem with some broken Spanish lol they have an extensive menu which includes pastries, sandwiches, cakes... The croquettas are crispy and delicious, beef empanada also crispy and well filled. I ordered a steak sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the mega steak sandwich. Both were huge! The Cuban bread they serve your sandwich on is fluffy and buttery, even after the sandwich is pressed. There are various toppings to add to your sandwich as well. I was very happy with my food and hope to return soon!

Wonderful experience here I had a Cuban sandwich and cafe cubano. The sandwich was good but next time I would either get less mayo or none at all. Service was good and I did get a free pastry, thank you Yelp.

Lots of bakeries in Miami but very few worth mentioning or even reviewing. This bakery has made the list. From the friendly service the smiling ladies behind the counter to the pan con tortilla they freshly prepared to my exact criteria. And it was delicious. I would have taken a picture but by the time I realized it I had finished. Its a local business owned and operated by locals who were working behind the counter. Love to see that! Cant wait to try a lunch sandwich. And they have fountain soda!

    Everything is delicious!

It's rare to find a spot that draws you back 24 hours later, but this place is a total standout in Miami. Despite having a larger group this time, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The service was excellent from start to finish--attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced for a family dinner. We kicked things off with the Cuban sampler, which was the perfect introduction to the menu and got everyone excited for the main event. Every dish that hit the table was a hit: the Red Snapper was incredibly fresh, and the Chicharron de Pollo had that perfect crunch. My wife really enjoyed the Chicken Milanesa, but for me, the Paella was the star of the show--rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. It's safe to say everything was delicious yet again. We've officially added this to our "must-visit" list for every trip to Miami. If you're looking for a meal that feels both high-quality and welcoming, you can't beat this spot. We'll definitely be back!

Needed to do errands in North Miami, so Little Havana came up as a place to go for Cubanos. It has…read morethree locations in Miami, with this one in North Miami being the original, opened in 1991. We dined in, and the visit blew away the food from the previous week. I really like Cuban sandwiches, so will be something my brother and I keep seeking out during short visits to Miami. We had a one-day rental car, so found Little Havana Restaurant, coming a bit after peak lunch time. It's on a major street, with surface angled parking in the back. There are a lot of wild birds in the area, with their guano being everywhere outside. It's a big dining area inside, and we were immediately directed to a prime location with views of their small lush adjacent green space, and the birds that live there. Elizabeth was our server, with water and complementary rolls being immediately offered by helpers. She and her team were great throughout, offering suggestions and bringing the food nice and hot. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu (11:30 - 18:00 M-F) and the Lunch Special Menu (11:30 - 16:00). We were greatly satisfied with every dish Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, appetizer size ($14.99) - 5 jumbo tail-on shrimp, sauteed in a scampi type sauce. It's what you expect when you douse good shrimp with a butter garlic sauce. The appetizer does not come with rice/beans, but we had plenty of it from the other dishes...loved spooning the sauce over the rice while eating. Roast Pork Lunch ($12.99) - what a deal. A dish of pulled pork with a big piece of fried pork skin on top...reminded me of the Filipino lechon, or even the Hawaiian kalua pork, with the tenderness of the mean. It came with a big scoop of rice and a bowl of red beans. Lamb Shank ($18.49) - This was recommended by Elizabeth when asked by my brother, what he shouldn't miss. It's a Cuban special, cooked in wine sauce. It was a big piece, still on the bone, coming with a big plate of rice and fried plantains. He enjoyed it, though he was struggling a bit at the end. Cuban Sandwich ($12.49) - A full size Cuban sandwich, cut in half. It had been grilled on a sandwich press with a little oil, resulting in the cuban bread being crispy at the top. It had the right mix of that same delicious pulled pork, along with ham, melted swiss, mustard and pickle slices. It was very good, great value for the price. Paying was done at the top, and we intentionally did not take any leftovers. There is a framed newspaper article from 1991 in the lobby, where you can read more about their origins.

We saw La Romanita next door and went to grab a bite since the food trucks weren't open yet. We sat outside because the weather was nice and they have fans to keep the air flowing nicely. Servers were very attentive, and we were able to order fairly quickly and the food also came out quickly. We both ordered the churrasco with rice and beans, and shared a side of maduros. Food was good, and we both had food left over. All in all, for a quick, impromptu lunch post workout this was great. I'll definitely plan to go again if I'm in the area around lunch time again.

When I first walked in, I was greeted by one of the servers. She spoke to me in Spanish and based on my response to her question, quickly switched to English. She sat me at a two-top. At first glance of the restaurant, it was decent size. They were doing construction around the entrance where the bar was, so it kind of took away from the appeal. While I've never commented on this before, I noticed my water and wine glass were so streaky. They weren't see through like usual but def. could have been cleaned/rinsed more. After being sat, I was given water and some focaccia crackers. While I loved the idea, the crackers were impossible to "dip" and made the oil pointless. For drinks, I went with the passionfruit margarita. They had a few cocktails to choose from, but this has been my go-to as of late. It was pretty good but nothing to write home about. As a starter, I went with the Cuban Caesar and for my main, I chose the pesto pasta and added chicken. The Cuban Caesar was easily one of the best I've had! I loved that it came in a Parmesan bowl and the yuca croutons were different but good! The croutons were a weird contrast because the salad was so cold and then you have these hot pillowy croutons with a weird texture. Regardless, I give the salad a 10/10. The pesto pasta was great; super rich but unfortunately, not much else. The chicken didn't have any seasoning and I almost wish I hadn't paid an additional $6 for it. The service was great and although they weren't that busy, I still believe it would have have still been good. Overall, I had a great time here and I may come back next time I'm in town.
