BEWARE -- Items ringing up wrong and overcharging. Every time I have been to the Mokena store, I have been over charged for produce and shelf items. Saturday I was there 7/9 , 3 items were rung up wrong. Very frustrating when you have to go back to customer service and wait in line for an adjustment. this is happening far more than it should. read more

I have been to this Meijer several times and other than the higher prices, it is by far superior to Walmart and, in my opinion, Target. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was looking for an item in the bread area and the woman I asked didn't work there but immediately went and brought over a gentleman who's area it was. After a little while the item I was looking for is normally in the freezer section- which I was not aware of. This woman and gentleman stayed with me until we found it . He even took the time to walk with me to the aisle it was in to be sure it was there. Good job! read more

I purchased a set of headphones at there black Friday specials. I tried to return them 14 days after Christmas they would not take them back because of there return policy. I will never shop there again. Is it worth losing a customer for $60. read more

I'd been going to this Meijer consistently until I moved to the Naperville area a few months ago. While there are 2 Meijers closer to my house now, I prefer this Meijer because it is better organized, cleaner, and I can usually get in an out without a long wait. I had been hospitalized all week, just getting out yesterday, and had to return to the ER all day today. Didn't get out until after 6 and the only open pharmacy around was at Meijer. We raced there hoping to make it before they closed at 7. I went running up right at 7 (like a jerk, I know) and they were closing their windows. I just asked if they happened to know of another pharmacy that was open. Lo and behold, the wonderful pharmacist took my prescription and filled it! I'm sure they had a long day and were dying to get out of work, but went above and beyond in helping me get my meds filled there. I greatly appreciated this and will always use this pharmacy from now on even being slightly out of my way. Thank you so much! read more

I went in to buy an umbrella . Found a damaged used one in clearance. The manager only wanted to take 10% off of the price for a new one . For 7 bucks it's not worth the risk of buying a damaged product I can't return . I thought the point of damaged clearances items is to get rid of unwanted merchandise ??. Competing stores in the area would have off offered at least 50%. The manager said that's all he could do . I don't believe that. Looks to me like he needs additional management training read more

My last visit was sad, why do employees and customers feel they can stand around self check out. Could not get my cart in to the middle open spot. Employee saw it but didn't ask the other employee and customer to move aside. It wasn't like the customer had a problem. They were just chatting. Have more respect others would like the service you just received. And employees should not encourage a bottle neck and the check out. read more

Best place i've ever gone. 30/10 recommend. Very good people always say hi to me there. i buy a lot of good vegan snacks there. i'm not vegan, though. i am vegetarian. still though real tasty snacks. never short of the vegan snacks or dark chocolate or chai tea or la croix. thank you meijer. read more

I love Meijer. I do most of my grocery shopping here. However, as others have stated, the deli is horribly slow. It took me 20 minutes to get a pound of ham and there was only two people in front of me. I refuse to waste any more of my time there. I find it is faster to make a second stop and buy all my deli products at Berkot's. Four stars for Meijer, one star for their deli. read more

The deli system is horrible, especially during busy times. They have a ticket system but don't abide by it because they don't have a tracker. Incredibly slow and not worth the hassle. read more

Today we stopped at customer service (customer) only to see the women reading the ads. She waited a few looked up, pointed to the sign and said we are not open yet. She should win Employee of the year for being RUDE. What type of training does these employees go through??? Management should survey their customers sometime. read more

Don't blink! I went to get a grill as they were on sale. I checked them out with no problem, but I had some questions. It was me and the lamp post for as far as I could see. So I grab the Red Bat phone. Not sure if it is for customers or not, but the lad on the other end of the line had no clue and no patience. I asked if someone could help me out....... And nothing. So I go to the electronics department, where a nice young lady pages someone to seasonal, twice......... And more nothing! So I had enough of site seeing and I drag the grill to the register. I told the cashier and the one in back of her as well as the one in back of me. They all wanted to hear my story, but I guess it wasn't lively enough for anyone to do anything about it. And after six opinions I get no tank with the grill. So I get it home and the starter doesn't work. And that is when I realize that I do not have the instructions. So I went back the next day and low and behold the instructions were plopped in the empty hole my grill made. I rolled um up and made my way. And know one seemed to care that day either! I am still not sure about the tank? I will go back on the weekend, when I'm sure there will be a manager of some sort that I can have a mentally stimulating conversation with. read more

I don't have much to say about this location other than the fact that it seems to be clean and in order. The lines are also very short and you do have the choice of self checkout which is always a plus if you only have a couple of items. The reason I decided to write a review on this place is because I found the best winter hat ever. Actually I should say that my very loving girlfriend found it for me. It was this Woolrich fleece hat. It is so warm and soft. I get very attached to my winter hat and lost one a couple of years back that I had for nearly a decade. While I did have a backup hat it never compared to The original one that I lost. Low and behold about four years after losing my favorite hat my girlfriend stumbled upon this one a month ago. I was so in love with that that she bought me another one for Christmas and told me they were 30% off. I went back to try to get more but they were all sold out. So I went on a Meijer mission and try to locate them at other stores. Unfortunately the Woolrich website did not have anymore either. Luckily I have eventually did locate a store in Elgin and Algonquin that had them and you better believe I bought them all up. I never want to ever wear another winter hat in my life again and should the winter hat that I am wearing right now ever get worn-out or lost, I will have peace of mind to know that I have all whole stockpile of these hats in my dresser. Worst store around. First time i went they would not let me use a rain check told me to go back to the Meijer store I got it from. Jewel lets you use there rain checks at any Jewel. Customer service very ignorant. Need new people working behind customer service. Next time I went to exchange diapers (box never opened just wrong size) they told me that they do not take diapers back. I just wanted to exchange for correct size. Accidently gave girl wrong diaper receipt because I buy diapers from Meijers all the time and she was very ignorant. I had to tell her to look it up the diapers on my Mperks account. She did not even offer. Then she looked it up and found it and made the exchange. They need to adjust there attitudes because no one will want to shop there. They need to learn how to deal with the public. Not everybody is bad in this world. I prefer going to the Homer Glen or Tinley Park store much better attitudes and service. read more
