What the hell happened? This place is filthy. I'm not looking for a palace to shop at, but it used to be so well kept and clean. It literally looks like they've just stopped sweeping and mopping. Especially in the corners and the walls. Second. There are no shopping carts. None. When I left I saw a dozen in the back forty. I guess if you want the convenience of a shopping cart, you walk back past your car and bring one in. Next, watch your dates. I picked up seven different products, including bread and milk, that were expired. Is it time to close up and start all over as something else? I believe we know what that means. Lastly, I'd like to comment on the staff. Problem is I never dealt with any. Pretty sure I saw a couple, but, I was totally self sufficient in this store. Inexcusable. We are through here. 01/23

My truck bed full of Scott's triple shred brown mulch ... c/o Meijer Royal Oak!

Was looking for late summer supply of triple shred brown mulch; and Meijer on Coolidge not only had a fair supply remaining, for spring clean slackers like myself; but the Lawn & Garden guy, Michael, was super helpful! While I ran out for quick lunch with the plan to return for 30 bags in an hour or so ... Mike had already hand picked 30 clean, non molded and unopened bags of the mulch and had them ready for me at the pick up location! His help in grabbing and filtering what I needed and helping me load the truck bed - was simply outstanding! Thanks Mike! And thanks Meijer Royal Oak for having good products and good, helpful staff!

I get why folks do their grocery shopping on Tuesdays. There were no mad lines at the registers nor hoards of people all over the produce aisles and battling carts down the main aisles either. The vibe and energy is much more calm today, it's tolerable and not depleting or deflating as it on the weekends. However the produce and stock was low and hadn't been replenished from the weekend or holiday last Thursday yet. We were checked out at a checkout 15 with Cheryl. The bathroom needs some attention, looks like a bomb went off in there and I felt like I needed a shower after being in there for a bit.

    The crazy lazy manager...

It's about average, perhaps a bit below average, as far as Meijer stores are concerned.

I like Meijer...but not for grocery shopping. 238 people all staring at the shelves in the bread aisle is just not my cup of tea.

When did they permanently close the fitting rooms? Pretty disappointing.

    Review Highlights - Meijer

Meijer definitely has better produce than Kroger (not hard to do) and just about any grocery store or fruit market I can think of, except for Whole Foods where the prices are double or triple.

I am so excited that there will soon be a location on the west side of the state (on 28th Street). I will not have to go far to have delicious pastries and great coffee. This time around, I tried the macarons and coffee. I picked 6 different flavors and each one was so perfect. They were the perfect amount of soft and chewy. The service this time was still fast. However, unlike last time, the cashier was not as friendly. Nothing to deduct a star over. But they seemed like they were having an off day. I guess everyone is entitled to one of those days. The food and coffee were still excellent!

My favorite is still the ube cloud donut -- perfectly sweet, light, and satisfying without being overly rich. Most of the pastries are excellent and have that balanced flavor that keeps you wanting to try more. The honey lavender macchiato was also smooth and really well made. I also love the setup -- you grab a tray and tongs when you walk in, pick whichever pastries catch your eye, then bring them up to the register. There's plenty of seating space to gather with friends or hang out for a while. It also makes a great spot for birthday gift drop-offs or bringing someone a sweet treat

Updating my review as I finally got some of the tiramisu that I longed for after my initial review…read more My review still stands. 5 stars. 10/10 experience. Top notch customer service. Delightful treats and local goods. I was able to snag one of the tiramisu tins before Christmas time. No, it was not for me to share with friends and family for Christmas, it was literally just for me, myself, and I. It took me a full week to eat it, and it was absolutely delightful from the first bite all the way to the last. I can't wait for these to come back - this time I just might consider sharing with friends and family.

I had to go back to go get my three croissants that I wanted ffirst visit. I got three loaves of the poppyseed, lemon bread, three chocolate chunk, banana bread, coffee cake, two breakfast sandwiches and three chocolate croissants. $64 + $19.50 The croissant loaf looks interesting, it' comprises of six croissant dough to make the loaf. The breakfast sandwich biscuit is quite good. The biscuit is a bit dry, but still flaky. The egg is light and fluffy and thick too. The coffee cake, lemon poppy seed, breakfast sandwich and chocolate croissant were all yummy. The lemon iced frosting is prominent and good. Not a huge fan of the nuts. The chocolate croissant is really good. Chunky blocks of chocolate. The croissant is super light and flaky. The Coffee cake is crumbly, slightly dry, but great with tea or coffee. The chocolate chunk is just okay, not my jam.
