The actual cost came in under what they originally quoted me which was already less than I had budgeted for! As I live relatively close they offered and I accepted a ride home they finished earlier than they originally promised! Then that came back in my car to pick me up and pay. They perform many other vehicle maintenance items too. Again the prices looked reasonable. They made themselves a new customer so I'll be back for my cars next PMI. I'll update once I get that work done.

I got low quality zinc lug nuts with my aftermarket rims. Two recently broke. I decided that a…read moretire place would be the best place to go- after all, they remove tires for a living, right? They must have some special tools or tricks-of-the-trade to easily handle this. I need new tires anyway, so I checked their website, found the tires I wanted and went to Sullivan Tire on a Saturday morning. Customer service was awful. Guy at the counter (Kevin) made me wait while he chatted up a woman about personal issues. Ok- I can be patient. Another customer walks in and goes to the empty counter. Manager walks over and helps her- while making eye contact with me- standing in line to be helped. Nope. Still leaves me waiting. I finally get to get Kevin's attention, and explain my problem. He says- "how about Monday at 1:00?" "Umm- I have work. I can be here at 4:00." How about next Saturday?" A WEEK? For two lug nuts? He says "maybe we can chisel them off or something..." "Is that going to mess up my rims?" "WHOA- you're talking like THAT? No- I won't touch it." Wait- WHAT? I just got refused service because I'm concerned about the damage to my $1200 investment? Found out from my friends that they had similar experiences there. Bottom line: if THEY don't trust their mechanics to not damage your car- neither should you. Save yourself the aggravation and take your business elsewhere. Update: I went home and drilled out the two lugs with a pistol drill and installed new ones I bought from Amazon. Took me about an hour and cost less than $10. I assumed a professional tire shop would have a better fix than a driveway mechanic. Guess I was wrong!

It was obvious to me that whoever assembled our relatively new snowblower, failed to seal the tires correctly onto the rims. I called around to a few local tires places and I was told by most of them that they would be unable to mount the tires today and they could have them ready by tomorrow. I needed to find someone who could help me today....I had to deal with the snow soon since we are a retail operation. I was referred to Ken Jones Tires by a friendly salesman at Tire Warehouse on Grove Street. Not only did Ken Tires mount the tires on the rims while we waited, they didn't charge us for the small repair. I was blown away!! I wasn't expecting to get this free of charge and I would have been just as happy with the service I received had they charged us the $20 or so to mount the tires. Customer service is a lost art and most retailers don't place any focus on it. After they told me the car was ready and safe to drive, I left with my son and headed toward the highway. Almost immediately, the car began making loud noises and shaking. I called the shop and was told to return. They took my keys and came back two minutes later. There is no way they properly inspected anything in that amount of time. I specifically asked if the car was safe, explaining that I was about to drive on the highway with my child. I was repeatedly assured that everything was "good to go." The employee I dealt with was named Taj. I got back on the highway, and the shaking became significantly worse. I called again -- on speaker while driving -- and told them it did not feel safe. I was told it was okay to continue driving. I trusted my instincts, began pulling over, and thankfully did -- because as soon as I reached the breakdown lane, my car collapsed to the ground. They then told me to call a tow truck because they were about to close. I was stranded with my son, my phone nearly dead, and in a situation that never should have happened. When the tow truck arrived, the driver picked four lug nuts off the ground and handed them to me. He said if I hadn't pulled over when I did, the outcome could have been much worse given highway speeds. Their first excuse was that the lug nuts were the wrong size. Later, when I returned to the shop, Taj admitted there were "too many hands in the pot" and no one tightened the bolts. That means the car was never properly checked -- even after I brought it back a second time. Now I'm dealing with tire issues, and they made it clear they did not want to service me. I didn't want their service anyway and went elsewhere. The fact that they had the audacity to take that attitude after putting my child and me in danger is unbelievable. This was completely unacceptable and could have ended in a serious accident. Do not go here.

I went in to get a tire…read morereplaced and later realized they installed the wrong model, which didn't match the other OEM tires that came with my car. Not only that, but they refused to honor the 60‑day satisfaction warranty even though I called the very next day. They also broke one of the wheel bolt covers and tried to fit it back on using a piece of gum/plastic to make it stick, without even mentioning it to me. The cherry on top is that they didn't inflate the tire to the correct specification or reset the tire pressure monitor. Just unreal coming from supposed tire experts...
