Little Chinese restaurant in shell beach. GF and I both got combo plates. Food was ok and good portions. My combo came with egg drop soup which was watery Veggie 1 fried eggroll and 1 fried wonton Low main vegetarian no meat in it Sweet and sour pork GF order Wonton soup 4 slice bbq pork and 1 fried shrimp Kung Pao chicken They both came with egg fried rice. Which felt like they added soy sauce and fried Egg to white rice and just mixed it. No frying Service was good and will have to give it another chance by ordering ala cart instead.

Yum!!! The only way to eat Chinese food is to eat it fresh at the restaurant. And this place always does it right! Friendly and fast service. Small little place but they work fast to fit people in. Spicy honey shrimp, Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, pork chop Suey, dried fried green beans. I sleep like a baby after! Haha

Mei's is the best in south county! I was under the weather, craving hot and sour soup and some kung pao. I phoned in an order and it was "just what the doctor ordered." Food is always consistent, service is great. Highly recommend!

The food was good. Small portions and the prices were ok. It was a nice little spot. A good spot to get out of the Pismo rush and enjoy some good food.

Eggplant Szechuan Style (asked for no bell peppers)

Mei's is a must to stop when we are driving through the area. Great food and great service. Lo mein, orange chicken, and best of all the eggplant. It's so hard to find crispy eggplant anywhere and Mei's is just perfect. I think about it so often it's that good. Hot and sour soup is also very yummy.

We love this place. Definitely the best Chinese food on the central coast. The pot stickers are in-house hand made. Walnut shrimp and Spicy Eggplant are our go-to's.

I suppose that's the secret to longevity, and no doubt, Gordon Ramsay would be pleased - small menu means quick kitchen and fresh food -- not frozen. My buddy and I treated ourselves to all pork dishes: * Pork dumplings (soft, in an amazing sauce, and unreal ground and flavorful pork inside) * Double-pork (thinly sliced pork-chop, pan-fried noodle, veggies -- loved...loved...loved) * Pork Chow Mein (basically the same as double-pork, but steamed noodle, and not as good pork) Great prices, fast service, loved it.

This is my third this year and the crew at Mee Heng Low continue to deliver…read more It was super busy and I did have to take some of my dinner to go to make my movie in time, but the service was still very friendly and capable regardless of the huge amount of hustle they were putting out (there was an art reception upstairs). I sat downstairs in one of the booths and had the cold bean thread salad. It was so yummy. I also enjoyed a $4 805 beer. So glad Mee Heng Low is here in SLO, next door to my favorite movie theater (the Palm), and serving delicious food and beer at reasonable prices.
