Saw they had some noodle dishes I'd never tried before so I gave it a shot. Ordered the Kao Soy and was not disappointed. They make both the broth and noodles in house. Different than many other Asian soups I've tried. Definitely worth a try if you get the chance. Service was very quick, efficient, and friendly.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars because the service is so great but I as I keep coming back, the pho broth gets more and more bland. I can barely mix my bowl of pho without the noodles all ripping apart. The noodles are too soft or overcooked, sadly and makes the noodles too short. The tendon is still very hard and could be cooked longer for that softer, chewy texture too. Although, the pad is very delicious! It's my favorite pad thai in Anchorage. I ordered it extra spicy. Hits every time! I also order the egg rolls every time I come here, and it never disappoints. Perfect amount of filling and so crispy! Love the vibes and music here. The staff is very friendly.

    Drunken Noodle. Noodles too soft.

VERY fast preparation! I ordered through DD and I couldn't believe how fast the order was ready for pick up. Flavorful and it was nice to try a new (to me) place. I agree with the other Yelper that said the chicken (in my Kang Kiew Warn) tastes weird, so I picked it out and thoroughly enjoyed serving the rest over the brown rice. Overall, it is very sweet and needed more spice. I ordered medium spice because you just never know if it's American medium or Thai death medium and I have to fly out tomorrow and I didn't want to find out trying to hold it in until the fasten seat belt sign blinks off and spending the rest of the flight in an airplane restroom with the flight attendants pounding on the door telling me to return to my seat for landing. (Hello, Siam Spicy, oh how I miss your 7 levels of heat, even though I almost cried at level 4 and I'm no wimp.) The drunken noodle was a mixed bag as the roast pork belly and veggies were expertly fried and tasty, but the noodles were far too soft. Fresh rolls were just OK, but large and did come with extra sauce. I prefer them more firmly packed and more flavorful, but they were better after being refrigerated overnight. Recommend ordering extra rice with the curry. They also took extra steps to package the order for safe travel.

It was my first time here & will not be our last. We are moving all the way from Texas, leaving behind my parents who are from Laos & I wanted to find a place that had Laotian food that could compare to my mommas home made food. I had the cucumber salad, khao piek sen & pad Thai and I was impressed! I would highly recommend Mekong. This restaurant will be a staple for when I am missing mommas cooking & don't feel like cooking myself. Can't wait to come back! Customer service was amazing.

Came back a 2nd time and then a 3rd time.. consecutively. PAD KEE MAO: 4/5 It tasted like the Pad Se Ew but with a dash of fish sauce and basil flavor. It wasn't spicy so I added the garlic chili oil that's provided on the table and it was delicious. The star is in their noodle dishes; It's the fact that the noodle is made fresh. BEEF PLATTER: 4.25/5 Seasoned really well! It had a nice sweetness but not too sweet (think Korean Kalbi style) with a strong lemon grass flavor! Love lemongrass! It comes with a side of veggies and dipping sauce. I like my beef cooked medium and it was medium well - the only downfall. Chicken Skewers: 3/5 Light curry flavored chicken with peanut sauce dip. Chicken wasn't too dry, peanut sauce was sweet. It was ok - never had this item elsewhere so I can't compare. Not an item I'd order myself but not a bad snack to share if others wanted to. Laotian Cucumber Salad: 3/5 Like my review on the papaya salad - the taste is too mild for me. It's a good intro for people who have never had these types of asian salads. A new and surprising taste but not overwhelming. I prefer overwhelming.

Pretty decent fresh rolls. Comes with four.

I've ordered from here a couple of times and was very happy. I didn't think much of the red curry, but I really liked the fresh rolls, chicken satay, and chicken pad thai and I'm kind of picky about pad thai. Got delivery through Grubhub and it was delivered pretty fast. Will consume food from here again.

Chicken Satay. Really good. Although the peanut sauce could be a little sweeter.

This place rocks! If it wasn't for the stay at home order, I wouldn't have found this gem. The food is so tasty! The portions are plentiful also. I spent $50 on delivery of chicken satay, shrimp spring rolls, chicken panang curry, and papaya salad and it was enough to feed 4. There was also a $4.50 Grubhub delivery charge. The flavor of everything was on point. Welcome to flavor town! I can't wait to order again.

A fried ono fish burger, a seared ahi sandwich, cheesy seafood dip, and the cookies. Everything was awesome! The fish burger had lilikoi tartar sauce and the fish was super fresh tender and flaky. The ahi sando had chopped kimchi and a garlicky mayo. The dip had a touch of smoke and didn't taste fishy. The cookies were bigger than I imagined and were excellent especially with the generous sprinkling of maldon sea salt crystals. If I was forced to split hairs, I'd wished the seafood medley in the dip (shrimp, halibut, etc) were chunkier so you could identify what was in each bite. It was more whipped or creamed together. I also think the cookies would be better if they were just a little thicker, although I can see the allure of a thin crispy cookie also. The cost was pretty expensive, but the ingredients they use are fresh and high quality so you can see where the money goes. The staff were really above-and-beyond friendly. They quickly set up an extra folding table for our family when they noticed we had no where to sit. Please visit this food cart (and follow them on socials, to keep track of their weekly specials) -- let's keep them in business! Anyone can see they take a lot of pride in their food both taste, image and creativity. I can't wait to try more things from Familia.

The service was quick and the brewery it's located in is a super chill environment! The pictures don't do the food justice. It was the most amazing lobster roll I have ever had. I'm from Alaska so I don't have much experience tasting lobster rolls, but the lobster was cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly and then drizzled with chili oil as a finishing touch. The homemade chips were also very good. I will be back! Thank you so much!

As expected, the restaurant was crowded. After thirty minutes, it was hard to find an available table. Food is ordered at a counter, then a waiter takes it to the table. Portions were large. Fried rice tasted just right. It was piled high and I special ordered it without peas. It was prepared correctly. Five stars! Pot stickers were good. 4 stars. My wife had beef chow fun and that was five stars and the portion was large. Self serve soft drinks are available with unlimited refills. Strongly recommend this for anyone who likes good Chinese food. Our bill with tip was over $60. No sales tax in Anchorage.

My mom said the restaurant was really good years ago and it's been recommended to me by someone else too. I can't say the bakery isn't good, but at least the restaurant food was not worth trying I got dumplings, greens (#11), sticky rice (pork), steam bun, Mongolian beef, wings (unseasoned, however crowd favorite), fried wide noodles.
