Appreciate the option and the maple vinaigrette was yummy. My boyfriend got the Moroccan salad and a Mellow out mango smoothie. We loved the food and they were good enough portion size that I saved mine for lunch the next day. The actual business is funky and cute. There is a parking lot out back and a few parallel spots out front. I was just passing through town and decided to stop and grab some takeout for lunch. What immediately stood out was the excellent service. The girl behind the counter was incredibly friendly and personable. She even thanked me for my patience even though I only had to wait a minute or two longer than expected (which didn't bother me at all considering the dining room was almost full at 2 PM). The fish tacos I ordered were the best I've had in a long time, and everything was extremely fresh and well-prepared. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in the Harrisburg area. read more

Quaint restaurant with great food and an excellent selection of healthy dishes. Had a fantastic bean burger that uses hummus as a topping inside ciabatta bread. Had the side salad and the greens very fresh and crisp with a delightfully light dressing. There was counter service but they delivered your food to the table. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They had an excellent brewed iced tea and a hibiscus flower lemonade that was also quite good. My wife had the crab cake sandwich which she also enjoyed. Their breakfast selection looked very good. You order inside and are provided a table number - self service utensils, sauces/condiments, and napkins. We went for breakfast on the weekend and had pancakes and eggs/French toast. Food was good and seating outside was nice. Not much traffic in the AM so we weren't bothered by idle cars. We returned our dishes inside ourselves since there didn't seem to be any sort of waitress staff, just food delivery when ready. Was not impressed. At all. I think the food was ok but my experience upon arrival was so bad that it made me not want to eat there but we were passing through so didn't want to bother with driving around. It is a healthy option conveniently located off the highway so they get a star for that. I came in and walked up to the counter. No one around and about 5 customers in the whole place. A woman was at the counter and said she would be with me soon...5 minutes goes by and I'm still standing there. 6 minutes, 7 minutes, 8 minutes...still standing. Another employee walks out from the back and doesn't even acknowledge me. Just goes about appearing busy but doesn't even look at me. A cook in the back sees me and asks if I've been helped and the first lady tells him she already told me she would be with me soon. She finishes whatever she was doing and begrudgingly takes my order. Awful service. I enjoyed my sandwich but it wasnt worth $9.00 and my husband got the grilled cheese and it was good but very basic. I also got a smoothie that was sub par. All for a wopping $26 dollars. No thanks. I really really want to like this place more. I like the look to it and it has some really healthy options. I just can't give it more than three stars. The main reason for this is not that the food is bad or someone was rude to me or anything like that. I just believe that the place is a little too slow and a little too pricey for what it is, a healthy lunch location. I do call it a lunch location because I do not believe I would be full enough from this place for it to be a dinner location. Despite using a table numbering system for eat in orders, both staff members repeatedly kept bringing food for another party to our table. And vice versa. This happened to be the only other table of black people in the restaurant. Makes you wonder what is communicated behind closed doors considering our genders and ages were vastly different. Also, again, what is the point of assigning the table numbers to completely ignore the system? We observed them running out food while we ate and we were the only two tables subjected to the "confusion". For this reason, I will not be returning. I'll start with the positives - very warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan offerings. Unfortunately the food I only found to be fair - the tempeh used in the Vegetarian BLT had an overpowering maple flavor, which wasn't in the description, and I felt took away from the sandwich. My friend ordered their black bean burger and was also disappointed. The burger was identical to the boxed veggie burgers that can be purchased at the grocery store. To their credit - when she complained to management they offered her a full refund. I had the Mellow Minded brew, which was a good cup of coffee and they had a full juice bar as well as a large selection of teas. read more
