The restaurant was clean and well lit with a steady arrival of customers but we didn't have to wait for seating at lunch time on a Friday. Another time, my order was messed up and I was told that I made the mistake (even though I ordered that item nearly every week since the place opened). Dishes are hit or miss with translation. It depends on the server. There is one lady that has a huge language barrier. When it's busy, she is very careless, I believe she is part of the ownership. I do understand how overwhelming it is when they are busy, hence only 1star is being removed. I don't want to be upset over a small business owners attempt to keep everything orderly while there was clear chaos and under staffing. Overall I am only dropping it one star because their food is still filling a vast need for authentic style Chinese in our area and there are no competitors. The food has still been a good experience depending on who's in the kitchen and what day it is. I will return once the weather is warmer (I hate the seating set up because if you are by the entrance, you freeze each time the door opens) I will see if service improves.
