I grew up on this pizza! Literally, I have been eating at this location since I was 12 or so. It's such a hidden gem and their pizza is almost unbeatable. Nice staff, tons of parking, good beers on tap, great pizza tossing in the kitchen, and great cookies to boot. I just wished they delivered. :( Love you guys. this was my first time at mellow mushroom all was going well till i saw a cockroach coming towards me and a lot of people noticed it and then the waiters never came to anyones table the would talk with each other and me and my family waited almost an hour for the bill so much for a good first impression but the pizza was good. read more

The variety on the menu is nice .... the food was ok but nothing impressive . Large salad , the Avocado was all dark on my salad like when it starts turning over ripe, I just don't like avocados that way. The pretzel is not sourdough it's doughy made from pizza dough. The hummus was good but I don't think it was made in house definitely a pre packaged brand. The pita was very tasty! The pizzas are smothered in butter and sauces and under cooked, therefore was too floppy / doughy, pizza is supposed to be hot crispy and hold it's shape in my opinion . They need a bit of work on the food preparation/ presentation. It was the first time going there . Definitely perfect for college kids . read more

Great environment, the pizza is a real treat and very delicious.. tried the hamburger, wings, and salad also while here. All very good just remember to ask for your burger to be well down as it comes out medium well. The burger was very tasty, lots of burger and well constructed to make your want more. The wings were wonderful but my granddaughter beat me to the majority of them..lol. our service was quick, polite, and something hard to find more and more these days so I definitely want to shout out to Brian and say thank you. read more

I've had the jerk chicken sandwich and quite a few different Mellow Mushrooms around the Atlanta (and metro Atlanta) area. It's my favorite thing to order from Mellow (yes, even more than any of the pizzas). NONE of the jerk chicken sandwiches I've had from any other Atlanta location compares to the one I had last night at this Mellow. Was simply fucking awesome. Hats off to whoever was on the line last night - give that man a raise. Tons of chicken and pineapple and sauce, great spicy flavor. It was the best sandwich I've had at any Mellow around here, and I'm no noob to that particular sandwich. The service was above average with a very friendly server. Check this one out. It is a smaller location than most of the ones that I'm used to. There are some regular-sized booths and one big "U" shaped booth or something like that, but for the most part the place is rather small so keep that in mind if you're bringing a larger group of folks. read more

IMHO the best pizza crust you can get anywhere. I always get a Gourmet White and a Little Greek salad when I'm in town visiting.

Mellow Mushroom is my go-to for a vegan pizza! Amanda is awesome when it comes to asking about the texture and consistency of the vegan cheese, she even brought me out a sample of it before I ordered my pizza so I could make sure I'd like it. They have several topping options, and this location has a great patio breeze with a view. I wish some of the appetizers could be vegan optional, especially the pretzel bites! read more

I ordered a gluten free, vegan cheese pizza along with two regular crust & cheese pizzas for carryout. I specifically requested the gluten free pizza well done bc of personal preference, but it wasn't even done. It was soggy in the middle & the cheese wasn't melted. Our home is being renovated & luckily the oven was plugged in earlier bc I've had to come home & cook my pizza after forking over nearly $14 for the thing! As someone with new dietary restrictions, this was completely not okay. The regular pizzas looked delicious & I heard no complaints, but I will never ever pay mellow mushroom for an overpriced specialty pizza again! read more

Good Pizza. I moved to the area bout a year ago and was going a few times a month. The last time I went about 4 months ago the service was really bad and I haven't been back since. I walked in and sat down. There was one man alone at one table already eating, a family already eating, and 2 girls at another table already eating so it was pretty slow. The waitress dropped off a menu and never returned to take my order. She spent her time talking to the 2 girls who sat about 6 feet from me, evidently friends. Got them boxes to go, refills on drinks, and just chit chatted. After 15 minutes I just decided to spend my money elsewhere an left. I am glad I don't own a business with employees like this. I did give 3 stars as the pizza I have had before was pretty good. read more

Went in with my wife once to get something to eat at the restaurant and the second time to pick up. Both times we have had excellent pizza and great service, all the staff have a smile on their faces, when we were sitting down the server was always astute about refilling our drinks and just generally a very pleasant person to have as our server. This is my favorite place to go and grab some great pizza or a sandwich and just relax. The dough that they use for the pizza crust is incredible and they also make pretzels to order out of it. Over spring break, 2010, they remodeled the interior and it looks terrific. It is more open and bright and a little bar was put in to sit at and watch one of the new TVs they installed. I eat here so frequently for both the food an the staff who are universally friendly. My favorite sandwich is the Italian hoagie as it has a great combo of meats, cheese, and the basil and balsamic vinaigrette make it fabulous. YES!!!! Love, love, LOVE Mellow Mushroom. I've frequented several locations of Mellow Mushroom for over the years, but I'd say this one is my favorite overall. What I don't like about the place is that it's VERY hole-in-the-wall. It's part of a strip mall, kind of off the beaten path in East Cobb. However, once you go in, you'll see lots of local flavor-kids who have colored pictures, painted the ceiling tiles. I just think it's kind of cool that the owner has that in his restaurant. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long; it seems like they sometimes under-estimate how long it will take for pies to get ready. That's why they're not getting 5 stars. But everyone is cool, offers free drinks, and keeps the vibe chill. While it sucks to wait on food that's late, a good environment goes a long way. And of course, the pizza is delicious and the beer list is pretty good, too (my fiance brews his own beer and knows a lot about it, so his beer snobbery is starting to rub off on me). I always get a pineapple pizza with esperanza dressing for dipping. They never fail me. :-) read more

I like Mellow Mushroom and have been eating in them for years, but this was my first visit to this location. I was disappointed that they didn't have full table service and I had to order at the counter. But oh well. I didn't find their pizza to be as good as other locations. The crust was kind of tough and dry. The sauce didn't have much flavor and the toppings were scanty. One thing I did appreciate is that they didn't bury it with mozzarella cheese, but rather used just enough. It was a bit slow, but it was lunchtime. read more

This is our go to Mellow location. Have NEVER had a bad meal here. Calzones are the family favorite - did get the Thai pie with pesto sauce (at my request) and it was one of the best pizzas I have had.
