This pizza is much thinner- you can see by the side by side photo next to the onion/tangy peppers.

Disappointed by lack of consistency. The thin crust option is great, BUT only if the restaurant pays attention to process your order correctly! This is the second time that I receive one pizza wrong, with puffy, thick, crust. Blah So frustrating!!!

Waitress was great! Went to watch the game on Sunday and wasn't sure if it was an Eagles bar still but most tvs were showing the Eagles game. Food was pretty good but the waitress made the experience great!

Clean restaurant and friendly staff. The mushroom pizza was full of flavor with plenty of toppings and a fresh thin crust. Gluten free crust is available as well, in addition to dairy free cheese. The mild wings were doused in sauce and meaty.

Tucked between the mundane and the marvelous lies a portal to another realm: Mellow Mushroom of Mount Pleasant. From the moment you cross the threshold, reality seems to bend. Walls adorned with psychedelic spells and enchanted murals whisper tales of pizza legends past. As I summoned my first pie -- the Holy Shiitake -- I could swear I saw a puff of garlic-parmesan smoke swirl into the shape of a truffle. The crust, kissed by fire and perhaps a dragon or two, crackled with golden perfection. The cheese? Melted moonlight. The toppings? Foraged from the forests of flavor and hand-picked by pizza pixies. The Kosmic Karma is not just vegetarian; it's divinely ordained. A harmony of spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta that feels like biting into a spellbook of ancient taste. The potions (I mean, craft beers) flow freely, and each sip transports you deeper into a groovy dimension where time slows and taste buds dance. Service is offered by friendly familiars -- cheerful and strangely attuned to your every craving. By the time dessert arrives -- if you have room in your enchanted stomach -- the mystical journey is complete. You leave not full, but fulfilled. Verdict: 5 out of 5 enchanted pizza stones.

I really hate to leave a bad review and try to work it out with the business first but buyer beware. Me and my mom spent $50 on pizza, expecting something a bit above the quality of your run of the mill papa johns. We received a sad version of a great white (pictured is what we got vs the picture on their takeout website) and a veggie calzone with 3 pieces of spinach. I work in F&B and can understand a slam or late night etc. but that it unacceptable to send out of the kitchen especially at those prices. When I called about the issue, I was left on hold for 21 minutes and if I had not gotten up to drive over they probably would have waited for me to hang up. Was told the manager was busy and would be with me in a second, but when I walked in the host and manager where chatting and giggling at the front desk. Sad way to lose a customer but poor food, lack of quality control, and a lack of caring about the business and customers by staff all together is unacceptable.

At mellow mushroom was amazing! Paul is our server. He was very attentive to all of our needs and the management and staff were very welcoming! I would definitely recommend this mellow mushroom location for sure! Oh, Paul is very friendly and I recommend that he gets employee of the year!

    Air bubbles aren't fun

Overall: A bit pricey, but Mellow Mush serves up some great pies. The good: We've had Mellow multiple times in different locations, and the good news is that the pizza is always great. Lots of toppings, awesome crust, and interesting combinations. While it's a bit over-the-top, I dig the ambience of the restaurants too. Service at this location was friendly and on time. The not-so-good: Three pieces of our carryout pizza had massive air bubbles, causing half of each of those those slices to no sauce/toppings (pictured). I give them the benefit of the doubt though, hoping that it doesn't happen every time. Also, the prices are pretty high for pizza. $30 for a large is a bit extreme. Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10

OMG! How did I just discover this place?…read more We stopped by Mozzo Deli in Mount Pleasant for lunch on a Friday, expecting it to be busy, and it definitely was. It's located in a shopping center at the end of a strip of restaurants, so it looks pretty unassuming from the outside. There were about four people ahead of us in line, and it took around 10 minutes to place our order. After paying at the cashier, we found a table, and our food arrived about 10 minutes later, which felt reasonable for the lunch rush. The employee who brought our food confirmed our order and later checked back to see how everything was. The food was the highlight of the visit. The coleslaw was delicious, the tortellini salad was good, and my husband really enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. My burger (the rock), though, was one of the best I've ever had. It was incredibly juicy and flavorful, especially considering it was cooked on a griddle instead of a grill. Meals come with the main item, and you can order sides separately if you want them. The menu is extensive, with burgers, sandwiches, salads, build-your-own options, and even breakfast items. The only downside is that if you come during the lunch rush, you may have to wait for a table. Even so, the food made it well worth the visit, and I'd definitely go back for that burger.

Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on croissant. It was delicious. Eggs were just right, as was bacon, and the cheese was perfectly melted. The croissant was flaky and buttery. The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

Waitress tried to take out order while standing in side the restaurant insisting she didn't know who our server was and that she would find out. We made her come back to table so we could order like normal customers. She came back took all the orders at once and only came to check on us only when dropping something off. Food was alright, charged for an extra dressing and bread was as soggy as your first ex wife. For the inconvenience she offered us a free cookie which she brought out still wrapped not even warmed or on a plate. Funny thing is I was paying with a gift card from a previous messed up order where we picked up and they forgot to add the extra protein on all of our salads then when they remade the order they somehow did it again. The drinks we got were gross but she didn't ask and at this point we were over it. 71 dollars for a mediocre meal and bad service with a waitress who could care less if we lived or died. Funny after already having to give this place another shot from the previous mishap. Oh, the table next us was being served, got their food and drink before us and left before us as well. Ordered an iced vanilla latte, it was pretty tasty. Loaded avocado bowl was decent. Avocado was fresh and ripe. Egg made the way I ordered. The menu says it comes with kale, I received lightly sautéed spinach. Potatoes were seasoned and a bit undercooked, but I enjoyed them. I added prosciutto (+$4!!) and it was way too salty to finish. They fry it a little which explains the saltiness. I expected the charcuterie board type. Sourdough crostini was way too toasted, I was only able to buy into the middle part. ~$30 on a meal that was just really not worth it.

Despite the big crowd, they were able to get our Coffee and Food out quickly. As we waited, we enjoyed the soft sound of music that was dialed to the perfect volume level creating a relaxing environment to get work done and enjoy our breakfast. My Latte came out first, unlike many coffee shops, the balance between milk and espresso was flawless. To preface this reaction, I do enjoy tasting the robust flavors of the beans in a latte, and they nailed it at Owlbear. The Frothy Effervescent milk foam was immaculate; the baristas here are consumate professionals.... Now, on to the breakfast burrito. I asked the sales associate for her recommendation between the lox bagel and the breakfast burrito; she stated that the Burrito was a very popular item, so I gave that a go. I was blown away. What stood out to me was the slight hint of lime in the āhuacamōlli (hear me out) made this burrito unique and special. The spice level was not overbearing and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. To wrap things up, I highly recommend Owlbear cafe, and will be visiting again when I voyage to Charleston later this summer; one thing to keep in mind with Owlbear are the portion sizes, I wouldn't call myself a "big eater"; However I was left wanting more food as the portions are very small, almost warranting a removal of star #5
