The pizza is great I have eaten in and taken out both work well. We had the Hawaii Maui wowie I also had Pacific rim and the great white. Pacific rim and Maui wowie are hands down my favorites. I have also tried their wings I highly advise you skip them! I ordered extra Krispy and they were beyond soggy piles of mush. The night we ate in the service was ok not great as our waitress forgot we were there and left us hanging for quite some time after clearing our dishes. She was super pleasant otherwise. We stopped by Mellow Mushroom for dinner and they definitely satisfied our pizza cravings. The Mellow Rolls were very soft and cheesy. I had the Thai Dye pizza which was a new pick for me and I would definitely get it again. I really like curry chicken and the veggies kept the flavors light and fresh, and the Thai chili sauce tied all of it together. I was worried it might be on the spicy side but it wasn't overwhelming at all. The philosopher's Pie was also a solid choice with Greek inspired flavors. Our server made sure that we were taken care of and passed by regularly to check in with us. Weather was kind of chilly this night so we sat inside where there was lots of art and very 70s groovy vibes, but we noticed on our way in that they had heaters for their outdoor seating too! I was driving home from Orlando to Ponte Vedra this afternoon and decided to stop in Winter Park for some pizza. I saw that they had a Mellow Mushroom there so I figured it was always a good experience in the past at other locations. This one was also a good experience. The menu offers plenty of pizzas, salads, hoagies, wings, calzones and burgers. I went with an old standby, the house special pizza. It comes with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and onions. It tasted great, as usual. Service was also pretty quick. Someone recommended mellow to me before and I never knew what the hype was about. Driving home, I had time and decided to go in and sit down with my sisters... BLOWN AWAY!!! I usually just go with pepperoni for my pizzas , but decided to try their "house special" and I'm telling you I will always get that from now on if giving the chance. They do not cheat you on the ingredients... so yeah the price is a high but worth it! I've come to this location a few times and it is always a good experience. The service is quick and friendly! Inside there are a few TVs with whatever sporting event is going on at the time (we came on a Saturday night in October, so two college football games were playing). Inside is decorated with typical 70s inspired Mellow Mushroom vibes. We sat outside as it was slightly busy and that was first available. Had to make a quick trip to Orlando yesterday, Winter Park specifically, and had a craving for Mellow's Holy Shitaki pizza. I really like the layout for their spots. Great outdoor spaces. Big open kitchen. Lots of comfortable seating. All over the country, you know you are going to get good pizza and good service. Nothing different here. Got seated right away. Wasn't busy about 5pm Monday. Had a couple of good beers. The Holy Shitaki came out quickly. Beautiful pizza. It was very good as usual. The only issue on this visit was the pizza had a little too much oil used. No big deal. The pizza was delicious, just a little heavier than normal. The ambiance lives up to the name with this place! The artwork and aesthetic in this place combined with the music is very trippy and chill. We enjoyed a half and half medium pizza while listening to the Beatles, best way to eat pizza. We ordered half Kosmic Karma and half Great White. The Great White was my fav with an olive oil and garlic base! The Kosmic Karma was slightly similar, I'm not a huge fan of marinara sauce but combined with that pesto swirl .. it was so worth it! I will say they were not very busy and we did while but on the other hand these are all stone fired to order pizzas so it makes sense! My husband and I had to go to winter park advent unexpectedly for my delivery -- all was okay and full term. Once we spent a few hours in triage, we finally made it to our delivery room. Mellow mushroom was open until 9 on a Wednesday. I ordered ahead (Stromboli/calzone and a cheese pizza) and sent my husband. My husband got stuck getting out of the hospital which cause him to actually pick up our food nearly 20 mins after closing. The staff was amazing. They waited for his arrival and kept it food under a warmer to help. They were so patient with him which meant everything at the moment. The food was good. If you're a fan of the old school Pizza Hut smell and taste, look no further. The moment you set foot in this place you'll recognize the smell. We live nearby and probably come here once a month at least as of 2024 upon rediscovering it. My favorite pizza is the Kosmic Karma with chicken. It has everything I like. I usually order a small and take 1/2 of it home. The service here has always been prompt, even for large groups. They also have a full bar for those you want a drinky drink. As someone who is dairy free but LOVES pizza, I'm so grateful for a pizza place with vegan cheese. The Mighty Meaty is my personal favorite. I normally split it with whomever goes with me and they will accommodate and only put vegan cheese on half and regular on the other half so we can both enjoy! It has pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham and applewood smoked bacon. All the meats. Plus they give a generous amount of toppings. There is a bar inside with about 10 bar seats. They serve beer and liquor. I love a good cider and Mellow Mushroom carries ACE pineapple cider so I always order one. There is outdoor seating that is all covered and pet friendly. How I've never been to Mellow Mushroom is wild to me. I see them all the time, but I'm glad I went. The atmosphere here was like restaurant meets bar. BBQ chicken was the fan favorite, but they had some really great vegetarian options as well. Ordering online through their website was simple, though I must have missed the option for curbside pickup, because when I called from the parking lot and asked, they let me know they only deliver it to the car outside if it's specified when you make the order. Kind of a bummer that they were being so strict about that, but they were busy, so I get it. Inside, people were mostly not wearing masks- which seems typical at dining establishments. Ok We gave the hostess both of our phone numbers and moved our car around back so our kids could run around and not be playing in a busy parking lot. I called to inquire and the hostess I gave both our numbers to claimed she had no way to call us and she saw us drive away. I told her exactly what we were doing. Cannot fathom how amazing this place is. It's VERY hard to find vegan pizza and even harder to find delicious vegan pizza. I just move here a month ago and already got their large vegan pie (I'm from NYC) three times. They are always super nice over the phone and repeat the order. Also, when I go to pick up, the young lady at the bar is just the sweetest. Very friendly and there is usually at least 4/5 people having a drink. Chill place and good vibes all around.
