Man I've seen this place a few times and last night I decided to give it a try! Well let me be honest I was at the light went on Yelp and saw a pic of one of there burgers!!! I was very impressed!! They have a drive thru, which is good if you don't want to get out of your car, the service was great the cashier was patient while taking my order!! Man!!! I hate to give a bad review to this place. I had a Vanilla malted shake, which was Fantastic! They really make great Malted Milk shakes. My problem was with the Chicken Torta Sandwich, made with a yellow shredded chicken substance. A believe the cook didn't want to heat up or make a chicken breast on the grill. Instead, they had already prepared yellow, shredded chicken for burritos. I believe the cook decided that I wouldn't know the difference so he used this yellow shredded chicken substance in my Torta Sandwich. When I got the sandwich and bit into it, I immediately went to the counter person and said, this is Not A Chicken Torta Sandwich! First, it tasted horrible. You couldn't taste the chicken over whatever it was making it yellow. Just mush and bland, tasteless! The Counter Lady informed me that's how Melo Burger makes Chicken Torta Sandwiches, with this yellow mushy substance in place of chicken. Not even my dog would eat it. That's funny, because several weeks earlier, I had one there and it was made with a real Chicken Breast. Well, the Customer is always Wrong at Melo Burger. There's not hardly any hamburger stands/diners around, (one Fantastic Burger that's overpriced due to area). Anyhow, I ordered a salad and hubby a pastrami sandwich. A jamiaca drink and were good to go. Verdict: short and simple it was good, bit overpriced, but good. They had a lot of options, but probably stick to our first choices. Haven't been here in about 20 years but wanted to see if they still made those milkshakes. They do! As others have posted, it is a bit pricey but for what you get, it's reasonable. Two chili cheese fries and 1 milkshake with 1 flavor set us back $23. But the portions were massive, the steak fries were yummy and the chili was the best! Too often places drown chili in tamarind- not here. Yay! Lots of cheese too. And yes, the milkshake was as I remembered. I got coffee. The drive through is a little confusing at first. First window to pay, second to pickup food - be careful not to hit any pedestrians though as there is a blind spot pulling out onto Inglewood. Only thing I'd change is the straw. They are super cool - large and able to deal with the thick milkshake. However, they are not wrapped. We used our sanitizer before using the straw. We went around 5pm and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and professional. Short wait for food. We will be back! read more

Convenient place across the street from our hotel. Very sketchy area at night though, don't be surprised homeless are around asking for hand outs while you wait. Patient workers who are helpful. Not that they're friendly but they want to make sure you get your food in time. And there's a lot to choose from on their menu as most likely because everything is frozen before cooked but it was delicious when I received my food so I could care less when you're just starving. At the first sip you can taste peanut butter but after the first sip, it's nothing but creamy deliciousness. The box of fries I remember were filled to the rim, they were never stingy with their fries. The taste is off and it has more chili than fries as well as being burnt and stale...what a disappointment, when they changed owners they should've changed the name! I've driven by this place for years, I finally decided to try today and I had my hopes up on their steak sandwich. Now first of all the girl seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but there which I should've taken as a signal to just leave. ‍ I specifically told her please make sure they put salt and pepper on the steak, I felt like she heard me but I also felt like she wasn't listening. I get my steak sandwich, drive away and eventually pulled over to eat it. What a disappointment! The steak absolutely had zero flavor and more importantly it did not have any salt and pepper that I specifically requested, nothing pisses me off more than a bad meal. I called to complain and the young lady on the phone said (well they usually put season salt on it) I told her they forgot that too. Sorry, but this was just gross! I came late night, because it was the only quick restaurant that was open near my hotel. I got the chicken tenders, cause you know, you literally can't go wrong with tenders! (So I thought! Lol). I really like that along with the tenders, the combo comes with a couple onion rings, fried zucchini and fries. The tenders were just BAAAAD!!! They were frozen and processed (see photos). It is not white meant. They were rubbery and gross. The zucchini was also frozen and just wasn't good. The only decent things were the fries and onion rings.
