Unique and interesting dessert that's refreshing especially if you're a fan of strong coconut flavor. The mango was perfectly ripe and sweet. The most simple flavors costs $10 with the more elaborate flavors up to $14. Overall tasty but kind of expensive for what you get.

Located in Del Mar Highlands Town Center, this coconut fruit dessert shop has a huge following, and there's a good reason why. They make tasty coconut fruit desserts with vegan options. The service was prompt and friendly, and the interior of the shop is so adorable.

I usually don't like coconut flavored things but melo melo tasted so good! I love that they had a lot of flavored but they really emphasize on the coconut flavoring. The interior is so cute and love that you're able to return 10 of the containers to get 1 for free. Only downside is that it's kinda expensive and apparently when you redeem your 1 free container, it's only 2 flavors. The workers are super nice and the bathroom was super clean too!

This new dessert spot has opened in Del Mar. I decided to drop in anf give them a try. It is an interesting concept. Fresh fruit topped over a coconut gelatine treat. Delicious and reasonably priced. The line was not long and they had many items to choose from. Service was quick and the place was clean and bright. I enjoyed my Dragon Fruit and Mango options. I'll be back again for sure. Give them a try and thank me later.

Oh my gosh! It's surprisingly so delicious! It is coconut pudding with fresh real mangoes on top! Its sweet but not too sweet, delicious, and healthy! We'll be coming back and try more flavors!

Amazing coconut dessert place started by Bella Wang in LA (story: https://www.eastwestbank.com/ReachFurther/en/News/Article/Hang-Eat-Melo-Melo) with a variety of coconut cups like the mango one and also durian, strawberry and other fruit flavors. Excellent service because they were able to let me buy some cups right around their closing time. Some seating inside but the main attraction is that it is located near that big foundation / central area of the revamped Del Mar Highlands Center (totally transformed and unrecognizable from my high school days growing up here). Highly recommended!

Wow! This place is fire. As we were coming out of urban plates we decided to look for some dessert. While we walked we came across Melo Melo, a coconut dessert shop, the ambiance aesthetic was beautiful. The guy at the counter asked if we wanted samples and nicely started explaining to us Melo Melo's core ingredients, milk coconut etc and we thought why not give it a try. And omg soo glad we tried this! We are definitely coming back soon.

Came to Melo Melo tonight - on a cozy rainy night - with my husband and it was such a great experience. We ordered the Mango River and the mango coconut--both were AMAZING, super fresh and flavorful. Service was kind and attentive, and they even let us sample before ordering. The space was spotless despite the rain, with a carpet to dry shoes. Loved that ingredients were clearly listed and that there are great nut-free options. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, San Diego still doesn't have a Philz, so La Jolla and Del Mar are the closest options. Between the two, I prefer this location because it's a little more spacious. Inside, they have a large communal table, a handful of smaller tables, and a few comfortable lounge chairs. There are also plenty of outdoor tables if you prefer to sit outside. It definitely gets busy, especially in the mornings, so finding an indoor seat isn't always easy. Even so, it's one of my favorite places to work remotely when I can grab a spot. As for the coffee, it's still my favorite. My go-to order is a half Philtered Soul and half Jacob's Wonder with cream on the side. I love that every cup is brewed fresh to order. There really isn't another coffee shop quite like Philz. The freshly ground beans and pour-over style brewing make such a difference, and it's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. If you're looking for a place to work, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy a great cup of freshly brewed coffee, this location continues to be one of my favorites.

I will definitely stop by this Philz again the next time I'm in town.

Greenery everywhere, soft natural light, and such a peaceful energy. I ordered an espresso with a side glass of ice, and even *that* was an experience. The presentation was next-level: served on a beautiful wooden tray, and the tiny spoon had the cutest little leaf detail sprouting from it. It sounds small, but those thoughtful touches made it feel intentional and special: like they genuinely care about the ritual of coffee, not just the drink itself. I have some dietary needs, so I brought my own homemade creamer, and they didn't bat an eye. No awkwardness, no attitude: just kindness and flexibility, which I truly appreciated. The barista went above and beyond and actually brought our order out to our table, which felt so personal and hospitable. It's rare to see these days, and made the experience oh so special. My friend shared her muffin with me (true friendship behavior), and oh the raspberry goodness in baked form. Soft, not overly sweet, and scrupulous. The kind of muffin you think about later. Dot Cafe's perfect for that slow catch-up with a friend, a solo moment of calm, or a cozy little treat-yourself stop. Highly recommend if you love good coffee, beautiful presentation, and plant-filled spaces that feed your soul

It was a nice day, so we opted for one of the comfy sofas outside. There were tables and chairs, as well as lounge chairs, sofas, and low tables. For active pets, there's a wooden deck play area. For this visit, I ordered the Açaí bowl and a cappuccino. I loved the presentation of my açaí bowl and the assortment of fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and bananas). It also had dried dates, honeycomb, hemp seeds, pistachios, coconut flakes, toasted oats, and cacao nibs. My pup loved the blueberries! The cappuccino was good, but was rather small. My friend ordered the Akuri Wrap, side of sourdough toast, and Desi Chai. She thought the wrap could've used a pinch of salt. The Desi chai was nicely flavored, but was a bit grainy. The sourdough was notably one of the best we've had, and we wondered where these were made. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back. Service was friendly
