Great experience and yummy food. Was a nice warm day and decided to give this place a try. Ordered at the window and ate at the provided covered tables outside. We ordered the onion, mushroom grilled cheese and I added arugula to it. Was very good. My husband had the Turkey, cheese and bacon. It was also very good. We did order the fries and a beer. During my stay in Pagosa, Meltdown on Main was one of the best meals we enjoyed! Unfortunately, it is a food truck with outside seating that is only slightly protected from the rain. We visited on a chilly evening but were comfortable. The food was delicious and a large portion. Great spot right on the main street in Pagosa. Came here for a quick bite after a day out in the river and this place was perfect. Good food, okay prices, and an amazing atmosphere. Locally run and the owners were very fun and chatty. The food came out fast and delicious, to the point where we decided to go back for fries and then again for ice cream. Lots of vegetarian options, we went with the classic meltdown, which was crispy in all the right ways with tomato sauce on the side. Sides and add-ons are extra, which is typical of food trucks but still a bit disappointing to see, and the side of tomato sauce adds so much to the meal. Worth a stop here anytime staying in or traveling through Pagosa, especially on live music Fridays. read more

Think we hit them on a bad day. 43 minutes for three grilled cheese sandwiches. We were getting ready to leave. When my sandwich finally came out, it was missing cheese. Seriously LOL! It all leaked out the side, leaving just a few burnt crunchy patches on the side of the bread. On a positive note, my son's turkey and cheese was decent. Pros: Quality sourdough and appreciated the fresh tomato and arugula. Cute spot with plenty of shade. Cons: VERY Expensive ($15 a sandwich, no side). Painfully slow (as courtesy, recommend letting patrons know when the wait is long). No cheese on my grilled cheese. read more

Words cannot describe how the bold flavors married up so well with the crispy, buttery sourdough - it was magical!!
