I brought sheer linen for 4 tall windows. I didn't think I had enough material but she saw my vision and reassured me it would work just fine. She delivered a professional, double stiching and full drape, just as she had described them. The job was completed in the time frame stated. Her price is fair and competitive. Memo Fabric is the best for curtains! Soraya came out to the house to measure for Euro Pleat curtains on four windows (including two extra-wide windows). We paid the full amount that day and curtains were delivered and installed within 4 weeks. Soraya provided excellent customer service from start to finish (including communication) and the price of the curtains was very reasonable as other vendors significantly exceeded our budget. Memo Fabrics was great. I couldn't find any off-the-shelf curtains that were long enough to go entirely across my sliding glass doors, so I ordered two panels and went to Memo to see if they could sew them together for me. While there they offered to do me one better - they would custom make the drapes I needed in a nicer silk for the same price I would pay for the two panels and the cost of sewing them together. I know the saleswoman regretted the offer as soon as she made it, but when I took her up on it she stood by her word. In fact, when I came to pick up the panels they had three because one of the original panels had a smudge on it when it was delivered, so they had it re-made. Overall I found Memo to be very honest, competitively priced, and nice to deal with. They were very quick as well. read more

Definitely a needle (jewel) in a haystack! Trying to find the right fabric or someone who can actually help you find the right fabric can be daunting task in Downtown LA. Store after store after block after block of shady fabric salesmen. Barely speaking English .. Throwing out the most random price quotes simply because I'm write and they think they can take advantage .. BUT NOT THIS PLACE! I had a good idea of what I wanted for my curtains and had some price quotes from others. Without even knowing of my other quotes, these guys went out of their way to help me and truly offered a price about HALF as much as others. But aside from the price, they 're professional, experienced and fast. Unfortunately, I've had quite a few bad experiences to know exactly when I'm being treated right - And with these guys, I was most definitely being treated right :) read more

I have an apartment that needed to be spruced up with some nice drapeies. When we checked out this apartment, the large living room windows and natural light sold us on the place. But the windows has cheap blinds. It ruined the asthetics of our great little casa. While I think I have an eye for furniture, I'm not particularly good and picking out the right drapery. What can I say, I'm a dude. Not a problem here. The owner, Soraya, was GREAT to work with and has a true EYE FOR DESIGN. She came to our place, took some photos and made a great suggestion on some light drapperies that warmed up the entire apartment. Couldn't be happier.
