I greated the fellow who came out to fill my propane tank with a "Good Morning" and got nothing but a blank stare in return - no words, just a stare. When he finished pumping the fuel he wrote the quantity on a slip of paper and handed it to me without a word. I walked into the store - and this is where it gets interesting - I'm standing there waiting for someone to help me and after about 3-4 mins the same guy, we'll call him Mr Personality walks past and disappears into the back room. Another couple minutes go by and here comes Mr Personality, but this time he actually speaks, and says "No one is helping you?". Let me back up here; for the entire time I'm there the other guy who works there (I remember him from my first visit) was off loading cases of product from a small semi parked in front of the door, and both of us, Mr Personality and I had to walk around the truck and product to enter the store, so it would've been clear to anyone with a double digit IQ that there was no one in the store to help customer's... but I digress. I simply say "No, no one is helping me", then it takes another solid minute for him to give me a total for the propane and a 4 pack of pan dulce. 2 F-ing item's!! Today's visit was my 2nd in as many months and while I experienced much of the same on the first I didn't feel it would be fair to trash them for it as they may have just been having one of those bad days that plaque us all, but sadly this appears to be their way of doing business. Well, it's their's to run as they see fit but as a customer it's mine to decide where I'll spend my money, and in the future it certainly isn't going to be here. read more

This place needs to get itself together. It has so much potential, great location and very convenient those are the only positives. 3 times I got something that was out of date. The place is such an eye sore, people just sitting around. And then go down to the feed part and it's filled with trash and clutter, never anyone there to load your order. I sat down there for 15 minutes waiting, mind you the cashier was fully aware of my order,she took it. I sat and sat, I even honked a few times, nothing. I then take it upon myself to load what I ordered, as I'm pulling out, along comes some guy out of nowhere yelling and flagging me down wanting to see my receipt. He was all rude and was acting like I stole the stuff and was making a get away. Where was he the whole time? Zero people skills. read more

This is the only market located in this particular area. Currently the facility is under construction. They're adding a sandwich deli. This place is not very good for kids. Although I personally like this place (probably because I get my alcohol there) the standards of upkeep inside and out are not very good. The business employs good people but the service and atmosphere are no monitored well. I have no doubt that this market will be around for ages and I personally have met the owners, lets hope they kick it into high gear and revamp the stereotype of this place. On a side note, this is the place where Menifee residents gathered during the young missing boy case last year. THANKS FOR HELPING JUJU. read more

This place has all the essentials--they even cook food fresh to order if you're hungry, and it's pretty tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Downfalls are that the parking lot is dirt, and not very organized--it's a pretty large slope as well. One time I had a local back right out of his parking spot into the front of my hummer, I'm guessing he didn't see me because of the slope. With a small renovation of the interior and a new parking lot this place could have a lot of potential. read more

When I pulled in to the feed store below the market and the guy walked down the stairs wearing a t-shirt that said "Life Is Too Short To Smoke Cheap Pot" I should have turned around and left. This guy didn't have a clue. I told him I was just looking for pricing on a few things and he seemed annoyed. I asked him about timothy rabbit pellets, he pointed to the 50# bag of alfalfa rabbit pallets and said "uh...I think it's...like....between 12 and 14 dollars." I then asked him about chicken layer feed and he seemed confused, but walked over and read the price off the tag. I asked him if they sold day old chicks and he told me "uh...I uh...think so. But we don't have any right now." I asked him how much for a bale of timothy hay and, I'm not even kidding here, "I don't even know what that is." Ok, thanks, bye. Will not be back. I ended up just buying what I needed (better quality, too) at Tractor Supply down the road in Murrieta. It's a bit further, but I've never been disappointed with their service. There's also a place over in Wildomar I'm going to check out one of these days. read more

This mom and pop shop is amazing. They were open on thanksgiving and i was able to find last minute stuff i needed for my dinner.

Two weeks ago I stopped in this quaint little place to get some soda and chips and noticed they had a deli in the back, so I went to check it out then noticing they had a kitchen and someone was cooking back there so, I thought what the heck and I bought the three carnitas with beans and rice and to my amazement it was pretty darn good for a lunch/dinner that being said two weeks later after a hard days work I stopped into buy dinner for myself and my husband getting the same special three carnitas with beans and rice, now supposedly this kitchen is new and not too many people know about it, they were even cooking it out at the front of the store but the older lady said she would cook it in the back for me. So I paid for it and she cooked it and wrapped it up to go...got home and was very disappointed the meat was burnt to a charcoal black color and the only pieces of meat that looked halfway decent was all grisol. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog, and she isn't a very picky eater. So I picked through the burnt pieces and there wasn't even enough to make one taco and the beans tasted like vicks vapor soothing rub, now last week the little girl that was with the older lady in the back had a really bad cold, so you put two and two together. when I called,I asked to speak to the manger and the gentlemen that answered the phone said there was no manager available to talk to, so I explained the situation to him and he said well didn't you check it before you left, well no I didn't because it was wrapped up to go and why would I check it when the first time everything was fine, so i asked him if I could get a name of a manager and he said that wouldn't do any good because it's family, so I asked him what he suggested and he said he didn't know what to suggest. I am a pretty easy to get along with person but come on $6.99 for two dinners on a Friday night I at least expect something edible,or at least offer to replace it or give me my hard earned money back and apologize but he flat out said; I don't know what good talking to a manager would do. I am not a person that goes around complaining to try and get free stuff, if the meat has been cooking since the afternoon then by dinner time it is time to throw it out, not sale it to you new customers, not a good way to get the new business venture up and running, negative feedback spreads quicker than positive feedback. You would think the gentlemen on the phone would offer to replace the tacos, like I said I was being nice about it, so I said well do you want me to bring it in so you can see what it looks like and he said Yeah, well first of all what is that going to solve, might as well call me a liar, and apparently he does not have the experience, authority or the know how of how to handle a situation like this and if not then asked someone who does but at least give a sincere apology. So, now I have to drive all the way back there and show the gentlemen the burnt pieces, not that that will solve any thing and to top it off I have to fix something else for dinner. I don't think that kitchen cooking thing is going to be such a good venture. Also they should train the family members or at least give them some kind of knowledge or authority, so they can take the appropriate steps or the initiative in resolving this unfortunate situation in a positive and happy note for them and the customer. Because an unhappy customer is usually not a repeat customer and negative news travels quicker then good news when it comes to a stores reputation and a Happy customer is a repeat customer usually for life and that is what pays the bills and keeps that company in business. It is so vital in any new adventure with a money making business you have to tread very carefully and stay positive and on top of things to keep your old, new and future customers happy, so they keep coming back for more or they can just as easily go someplace else and become there happy and loyal customer and nowadays a business needs all the help it can get just to stay above water other wise there competitors win and they find themselves, swimming in debt, owing taxes, filing bankruptcy and filing unemployment only to think back on how you could have, should have done things differently because the most important person to any business is the customer or the customers. The customer is your number one priority so, treat them right and they will in return treat you right and they will spread the good news, because a bad or even tarnished reputation is a bad reputation or can be a reputation to no return, So l sometimes to no return. Best place in town to get propane. Tuesday, Thursdays, and Sunday are the discount deal days for propane and it's awesome. I live out by lake skinner. Closest place to me is getting 3.99 a gallon. I decide to go drive 15 minutes to menifee market and and it was 2.19 a gallon. Good price and good people. read more

We go here often and get carne Asada tacos. They are my favorite!! WAY Better then Miguel jrs and Alberto's!!

This is the only store around for miles, too bad it's not anything more than a beer and cigarette store for the locals. Very sketchy atmosphere and clientele, I won't be back. read more
