Nice quaint place. Food was spot on. Small boutique restaurant- I really enjoyed the food here. Loved the calamari, shrimp and cod fish appetizer- great combo. The burrata was fresh and tasty. Sorry my pics came out all blurry.

Good food and service - came here for lunch for the holidays with a group. They can get quite busy here so best to know what you want especially with a big group. Menu: plenty of options to select from - there is something for everyone. The homemade ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta was nice and light but filling given we were all going to eat again in a couple of hours. Everyone enjoyed their dishes - including the fettucine with wild mushrooms, homemade, spaghetti, gnocchi, and grilled salmon. portions may look small but they are filling. Nice space for groups in the back and glad they were able to accommodate same day reservation for lunch. Will definitely come back to try other dishes..

By far the most dissatisfied Italian restaurant I've been to. Went here based on the reviews and the assumption that we would be satisfied. First and foremost the appetizer plates were very dirty and so were the cocktail glasses. We were glad not to have ordered appetizers. Main course, we had pasta and it was the quickest we've gotten our pasta ~less than 5 minutes, as if it was premade. Our waiter also didn't share the specials for the day (but did for the table next to us) nor did he check up on us (1 time towards the end only!), instead the busboy did!Flabbergasted! This was a horrible experience and even more disappointing especially since we were starving. Definitely subpar!

I ordered the Linguine AI Frutti DI MARE. It had mussels,Calamari, shrimp, and clams, with a spicy tomato sauce. I started off with real Italian bread, unlike the other bread I was served at other restaurants . The bread was delicious, however the capers and oil had no real flavor. The pasta with fish was very good. It was loaded with fish and very tasty. I got extra bread to mop up the sauce at the end. The sauce had a nice fish flavor and was not spicy . It's a small cozy restaurant.

I went in mid January and had the best experience at the bar top with Samantha! She makes a KILLER cosmopolitan!! Vibes, food and drinks were 10/10

Good restaurant for the neighborhood. A little tight inside, but manageable. Food is pretty good - the appetizers were all very good. Worth ordering a bunch of apps and sharing. Maybe skip entrees. Service was absolutely pleasant and efficient. Didn't do desert, a few things looked interesting.

What a quaint restaurant in the Garment District. We had a lunch reservation prior to a Broadway matinee. The interior has a very old European vibe. Service was very professional and attentive. I did think it was odd that they wouldn't serve us the bread until our fourth guest arrived. Al the food was delicious and ingredients fresh. The serving sizes were appropriate for the price point. Four of us ate for $125 before tip, 4 entrees, 1 wine and 1 coffee. We arrived at our reservation time and were qseated at a table by the front window. It was fun watching all the people pass by. We were the first in the restaurant at lunch time but as we sat there were several large parties arrived. There was a plaque on the wall stating it was Michelin rated. Mercator is an easy walk to the Broadway theaters and worth a visit.

Based off the hangings on the wall this place has won some Michelin stars and what I had definitely didn't let down. It looks small looking in from outside but there is seating in the back. The service was friendly and even though we didn't have a reservation on the Saturday they made room for us. The server we had was very knowledgeable and took her time to go over daily specials. The food was so delicious we came here twice on the weekend trip. The first night I decided to order the Spezzatino di Manzo al Primitivo. It was delicious! So juicy and the gravy with it just made the whole dish. My husband said the gnocchi was delicious as well. However the second night I ordered the same dish (creature of habit) and it was nowhere as good as it was the night before. There was barely any gravy which made the meat tough instead of buttery soft. That little blip is not enough to keep me from coming back next time in nyc. 5/5

I reserved for 4 at 5:30 on a Saturday. There was plenty of space. More people came in for a later dinner. The decor is cute and comfortable. It'd be a nice date spot. We got the Sauvignon blanc which was good. I tried the fettuccine ai funghi and affogato. We all enjoyed the food. Servers were nice.

We came to Mercato on a Wednesday evening. The spot was intimate and there were a good number of people dining. We ordered the lasagna. The food came out superr quickly - we were both super impressed. The lasagna was a huge portion and super yummy.

Do I have to make a reservation?

I would, but I've gotten in several times without one. They are open late as well and never need a reservation after the broadways.

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. The interior was dimly lit, with a couple of candles per table or counter. It's a perfect place for a date night. And while there may be a wait on busier nights, it's always worth the wait. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. Wonderful people and wonderful service. Needless to say, we will be back as frequently as we can!

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

As I walked in and saw just how swanky this place is I panicked - there was no way we could just walk in here without a reservation, right? But the hostess was, thankfully, so down to earth. I was straight up like hey I totally messed up and thought we could just walk in here, she was like you know what, let me see what we have. Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. I had never been to…read moreEleven Madison Park before and wanted to check it out, not realizing at first that Clemente Bar is a separate concept from the restaurant. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
