Traditional Eggs Benedict! The best ever.
Jocielyn W.

Hands down best eggs Benedict! Pancakes and waffles delicious too! Chicken fried steak another banger. The staff is amazing, always checking on you and with a smile. I don't think I've ever had bad food or rude service here. They always hit home with good food and good service!

Overhead light fixture covered in cobwebs

Stopped in there for breakfast on a weekend morning . First impression was wow it's DARK in here! I look around to see if I can find a table with better lighting and then I look up at the lights and the light hanging above me is covered in cobwebs! Didn't really see any other tables that had much better lighting. Server was kind and friendly. Food was just OK. Nothing to rave about. Toast and bacon were cold as if they had been prepared much earlier. Cinnamon roll big and Just OK. Definitely not worth the $13+ Cinnabon way better on all levels. I like to see my food when I eat so eating breakfast in a very dimly lit establishment with a light fixture with cobwebs hanging over me kinda ruined it for me. I could understand a dimly lit restaurant at a high-end dinner restaurant that has the ambience to go with it as well as the food.

It's a lovely spot for breakfast, alone or with a small group. The train sounds help. They made me feel like I was going somewhere.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to make of this place when I walked in. It's a little dark, a little worn. It's a seat yourself sort of place so I found a place by the window so I had enough light to read. The server greeted me warmly, offered me a cup of coffee and a well-handled menu and that's where the apprehension stopped. This is a delightful place. I ordered pancake and eggs, my plum line for breakfast. Delicious. The pancake had a sweetness and the perfect crispness that played perfectly with the yolk of my over easy egg. Service was attentive but not overly so. She saw my book and read the room. Exactly what one wants for a solo breakfast. At least this one does.

All American Breakfast

Five stars - Great We went here for brunch and were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly, and the food came out fast. The food was delicious. I don't think my partner and I have devoured a cinnamon roll so quickly. The cinnamon roll is BIG. And it wasn't dry because it was slathered in cream cheese frosting. I got the All American Breakfast to balance things out, and I was stuffed. We will definitely go here again!

Met up friends for breakfast, and definitely was a good find while out on vacation. The cinnamon rolls as others I'm sure post about are definitely a go to item. It's large, so can be shared...or indulge! Our party ordered quite a variety and we all enjoyed our meals. However since it is a smaller location, and its popularity, it's a packed house... so make a reservation to get a spot. Great food and service!

Great Coffee!

Really really good coffee. Not the foo foo rose petal coffee or the old school coffee that tastes like it has been sitting on the warmer all day but tasteful aromatic perfect color coffee. Katie provided immediate service and the food arrived just as I was needing my second cup of coffee. Did I mention how good the coffee was? The high ceilings, the heating system tubing, the old brick walls and vintage countertop area keeps the motif perfect for its location. The Maridian Cafe may not be your cup of tea but I bet it could be you Mug of Caffè D'arte Coffee.

Date: 6/20 Time: around 11:00-11:30 AM Parking can be a bit of a challenge near building, but you should be able to find a free lot or street parking not too far away. A very cool, historical older building with prints and signs. Rustic is a good description. This is a 'seat yourself' restaurant with ample tables and booths. Didn't take long to order; waitress was pleasant and brought out our food quickly. I had biscuits and gravy while my daughter ordered pancakes. Food was very good and service was decent. Highly recommended for breakfast. Will have to come back to try lunch.

Went here with family. Food was pretty good and filling though I could of stopped it was a lot of food. Didn't want to take home or let it go to waste. Service was on point. It's a cute Lil cafe.

Service wasn't good. I ordered online a takeout and waited for five minutes when I walked in the door to be greeted. There were probably 8 to 10 employees working on the floor. They all continue to look at me, but no one acknowledge me or asked if I need help. There did not appear to be somebody greeting people and no one even said will be with you in a few minutes I had to walk to the bar and ask for my to go order because no one seemed to care that there was a potential customer waiting. Maybe it was just a bad day but that's still pretty unacceptable service. Re the food, toast wasn't toasted and it was dry. Hash was basic. They gave me bacon on my sausage breakfast sandwich. I ordered online so I chose the meat. I also asked for cheese on the scrambled eggs on the sandwich, surprise that didn't happen either. I attached my receipt so you can see I'm not lying.

Cinnamon roll

Big back approved, chicken fried steak is not frozen, my girlfriend had a horrible dream so I brought her her to enjoy a warm delicious cinnamon roll

(Updated Rating)…read more UPDATE: I am updating my review because Farm 12's customer service completely blew me away! After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. It was a little bland for my personal taste, but it is a fantastic, clean option for health-conscious diners. My first visit was clearly just a fluke due to a busy weekend crowd. I truly appreciate their proactiveness in reaching out, the beautiful ambiance, and the excellent food. I will definitely be visiting again!

We came for dinner on a busy evening. The restaurant was fairly crowded, so I won't judge the…read moreservice based on this visit. I ordered the Chuck Eye French Dip with truffle fries. The truffle fries were excellent. It was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. They had a nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the French dip was disappointing. The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

All the portion sizes are absolutely large and you can definitely take leftovers with. Our server was absolutely amazing. He took care of all of our needs very quickly and very informative about the menu and gave suggestions about what he thought was the flagship dish. Definitely could not eat all the food. It was very good cornbread was absolutely amazing and I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was a huge portion could barely eat half of it I highly recommend going to this place. Portions are absolutely massive, and most dishes are served with a cornbread topped with a cream/icing. When the server was placing them on other tables, I thought they were cinnamon rolls from the size! I ordered the "Th-th-th-that's all folks," which consisted of crispy breaded pork chops with grits, gravy, two eggs, potatoes, and cornbread. The serving size was massive and could easily be 2 meals (I had lots of leftovers). The porkchop had a great texture and wasn't too dry. Grits were creamy, and the cornbread itself was very delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, as we had servers coming by multiple times to top off coffee. This is a great breakfast spot in Sumner!
