They were transparent and upfront about everything. He gave me a quote. It was way cheaper than getting a replacement hose. I brought the hose in and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes. Came by to get two braided brake lines made for my truck. GM uses a strange distribution block that the crimped ends can't be removed from. They were able to cut and braze new ends to the block. The price they charged for labor+parts was reasonable and they got it done quickly. read more

I had a propane hose that needed to be replaced. I emailed a picture to get a quote, and was quoted $25 - $30, which I agreed to. When I went to pick it up, the price had gone up to $40 (plus tax). I was told that they had to do some welding (which they should have known when I sent a picture and when I dropped off the part). If there were any changes in the price, they had a responsibility to contact me before moving forward, which they did not. When I called back to express my frustration, the owner was quite rude, referred to me as "Mr. Lecture Guy", and hung up on me. Stay away! read more

The hose is hella expensive from the dealer, and the fittings are - of course - special, so I was in a bad spot with a weekend race coming up. Another hose specialist sent me here, and they were able to make up a hose that is better than what I could have got from Porsche, at a much better price! Since then I go Mesa Hose for my auto and MC hose needs. They made up a great fix for the brake lines on the complex Honda dual braking system on my Blackbird, and I'm going back there today for a custom hose job on a upgraded clutch master cylinder hose on the same bike. Brooks has been taking care of our rebuilt hoses for the last 8 years. I have an auto repair facility and when I come across a hose that is obsolete or a aftermarket is not correct. I have to run down the old hose to be rebuilt/fabricated. The price is just O.K, however I also think a Del Taco 99 cent bean n cheese burrito is too expensive. I will say this, the work is always done correct. The hose has so far met or exceeded expectations. I've never had to warranty out Mesa hoses work. I will continue to use them for any needs I have.
