8/21/2022 I had purchase a 90 min Thai massage and my first 50 mins into the massage were not pleasant with the first masseuse name Grace. She appears to be an inexperience massage therapist instead of massaging it was more like she was caressing me to make matters worse. She goes out the room enters back with hot rocks. Instead of applying the rocks carefully she just puts the rocks on my back and I screamed. IT BURNS!!! MY BACK HURTS!!! I immediately to stop the massage!! A gentleman enters the room and states that he's there to do the massage and I said "no" I'm not comfortable with a male masseuse. he steps out contacts the owner as I walked out; he asked me to speak to the owner on the phone. which she was very nice and appeared concerned. I mentioned to her that my back was burned and I was not happy at all. She felt bad and wanted to compensate me with a second masseuse to do a massage. Ediths, what's more experience therefore I tipped her $20 because she tried to make up for the first ladies mistake. However, I will never again go to this place and I'm not going to recommend it to anyone. I have scheduled an appointment on my portal to see the doctor and make sure there's no substantial scars to my skin. I've come here SEVERAL times and I usually have an AMAZING deep tissue massage! They have really good masseuse here, it's fairly quiet, clean, price is reasonable, and parking is never an issue! I recently came in and had the BEST 90 min firm deep tissue hot stone massage by CiCi! In comparison to a chiropractor, I prefer the Thai massage stretching to adjust my spine. I used a groupon and it was smooth- while booking they even offered to match groupon price. I asked about the bars for walking on your back and was told that this was only offered to larger folks(my masseuse outweighed me). Hot stones were great, they laid a towel down and placed the stones on top first to warm up my back slowly. This was a first because many massages place the hot stones directly on your skin. You do have to pay prior to the service but I understand why (they worry about people's cards not going through after service). They do have an atm in the lobby. My masseuse asked what type of pressure I was looking for and kept checking in with me during the massage. I will say this: this was not a light touch, super-relaxing-fall-asleep massage. It was a work-every-knot-out massage. The hot stones and warm towels were lovely. My masseuse had water waiting for me when we were done. The business does recommend a 20% tip off the retail price (standard and I fully support) and they prefer cash so that's something to keep in mind!
