He said if we had arrived a few minutes earlier he would have let us - by this point it was about 8:07 pm. When we told him our situation he said that he was on the Board of Trustees and couldn't do anything about it. He was clearly on a power trip and told us that the show was supposedly sold out even though there weren't many cars in the parking lot. I've been to many shows in different venues both nationally and internationally and even on Broadway they don't do this kind of bs. I'm very disappointed by this kind of treatment as it drives away community support.

The play area can get pretty stuffy, but they try to keep it coolish with a portable AC unit and several fans. My girls usually start to complain after about an hour about the warm air, but go of and keep playing anyway. I haven't hosted a party here, but the three that I have been to in the party rooms here were clean and well served by the staff.

The floors were a lovely wood and looked nice and they told us they were redoing the area, and she said to us that it would be new floors and center piece designs along with the bar being put in a different corner when we came to check in a couple Months later the floors were tile and uneven and they didn't look great at all. She was rude to the grooms mother when she was trying to plan everything. If I could go back I would have chosen a different place.

The theatre is located in the basement of a loft apartment complex. You have to go through the main doors and the. Take the elevator or the stairs downstairs to the basement. Carla bought us 2 tickets to see "The Dog Problem" at the Undermain Theatre, so we headed that way on a weekday night. I have passed by this building on Main Street a million times, but never knew that a this place was underneath (and it's literally underneath Main, in the basement...hence the name). When we walked into the theatre, it wasn't at all as I expected. It was a "theatre in the round", the seats surround the actual stage. It was quite small and intimate, which added an awesome feel to the play. The actors literally were right in front, to the side, and behind you throughout the program. They have a place to purchase refreshments before and during intermission. There was a nice wine selection, and they were giving out free wine samples on that night as well (free is always good!). The acting was good, the story was good (if you get a chance to see this particular play, go for it!), and the atmosphere was great! It was a positive experience, and it has convinced a theatre-avoider like me to venture out and see more plays in the future. (I will still need a lot of convincing to go to a musical) If you are looking to do something different, going to the Undermain for a date would be a nice change of pace!

To further complicate things, seat #1 starts in the middle of the row because each "section" is divided by a set of stairs. Strike two. Getting out of the parking lot took 25 minutes. They only had one exit operating for a huge parking lot. I got out faster from a Cowboys game. Strike three. I'm sure general admission seating works for football games, but if you are renting out your stadium to a group who is selling reserved seating, you must permanently mark your rows and seats (especially bench seating) with a number.

They started by letting everyone know the schedule of events- a small craft, a couple of games, appetizers, lunch entree and a birthday cake! Being our 4th time back what sticks me most is the dramatic inconsistency. One year great the next a mess. This year the service was very slow. We did not get our cinnamon roles until after entrees were served. We did the add in Birthday Pack. They did not have the crowns for the girls or dolls. The cake was tiny. We did not even get 5 small pieces; last year 6 of us each had a piece with leftovers. Food was good and there is a good selection. Unfortunately my chicken and waffles was cold as was my granddaughter's Mac n cheese. Overall my granddaughter had a very good time but as an adult I found the experience disappointing with the slow service, inconsistent attention to refills and time between things. Also had to ask waitress multiple times for most things. The Birthday add on was skimpy and not worth $. Lunch price is very expensive for children reasonable for adults.
