This was the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly, not to mention how amazing the food was. The green salsa that comes with the complimentary chips and salsa was the best salsa I have ever had. The red salsa is also very good, not chunky at all. The tacos were also very amazing. The waitress explained every meat choice they had and each one I tried was amazing. The Lengua, pastor, and the beef and chicken mixed meat (not sure of the name) were my favorite! The sauce that came on the side for the tacos was very flavorful and spicy. The tacos were $2.25 each but were not small tacos so you wouldn't need as many as you would for regular small street tacos. The drinks were a nice price. I went yesterday the service was horrific . I ordered the tamarind Rita and told the server ieasy on ice and she got full of ice , ordered a second one told the same this time the ice was less and garnish was given . The first didn't have any garnish . The server never came to our table for 30 min the place was empty we had to tell her that we want to order and her excuse was I was waiting for you'll to call me !! Who does that !! I ordered the chicken taco and I wastalking on the table with my friends looking the other side and the lady server coated and took my food away without asking I was furious and told her I was not done why did she take my food away !! She said I thought u were fine and I told her there is good on my plate what gave u the idea of it being done!! She did the same thing to my friend on the table she took his food away too !! Great birria tacos, margaritas, and chips & salsa! Most of their food is good, but the service has been lacking the past few times we've gone. Friendly, but not very attentive. They also offer Kids Eat Free on Sundays on their website, but they will not honor it when you go. read more

First off, I found this restaurant because my wife and I wanted to find an early happy hour. And boy was this the place. Tuesday ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR!!! Monday & Wednesday through Friday 12pm - 630pm for Happy Hour outside of that. Now the margaritas... bomb. And only $6 for a jumbo and $7 with a flavor added. And they are drinks you can feel. First drink of a $6 HOUSE MARGARITA and felt a buzz. The service was amazing. Norma had wonderful suggestions and wonderful service. The ambiance was a good feel too. It looks small from the outside but isn't once you get inside. They were playing Spanish music and ESPN so I was entertained. Now the food... OMG. When I say this is the best Mexican food place I've had in Texas... I am so serious. My wife got the birra tacos and loved them as so did I. I got this dish called "Tejano" and everything was amazing. The beans (which I don't even like beans) were so delicious. And the STEAK... I'd kill for it... twice lol. Best cheese enchilada I've had in my whole life (and I find a cheese enchilada a waste) but it was so good. I love this place and will be back if not tomorrow, soon lol. They do a horrible job of taking on the phone orders. I have ordered from them at least 20 times in the past six months and each time they get my order wrong, but I keep trying to support them because they are a local business. The food is usually over cooked, especially the beef fajita. It's usually hard and rubbery. 1 out of 4 times they get it right so that is why I keep trying to give them a chance. The women who answer the phone are rude and are dealing with other customers who walk in the door and continuously make you pause so that they can seat the people who are walking in the door. Why are the hostess or order takers answering the phone and seating people at the same time? Makes absolutely no sense. I asked that they not put any onions on my fajita tacos and they put EXTRA onions on. Then they put ALL of my taco toppings on the side abs charged as an add on when I asked them to put them on top. They continuously provide poor on phone service and part of the reason has a lot to do with the fact that their music is so DARNED LOUD the rude order takers can't hear what's being said . We got the chicken fajita nachos..the food wasn't warm. The nachos weren't even melty it was hard to grab a nacho off because it was just cold and hardened on there. Sooo much refried beans and we actually got these nachos because it didn't mention it had refried beans. Which it should have since that was the main ingredient on there. Upon entering this restaurant, I felt like I was walking into a gorilla cage. The servers seemed more like a gang; playing around and tossing things around the restaurant. The music was loud heavy metal. There was like 7 or 8 young guys just staring. A couple of them were trying to be professional but they seemed so hyped up, I wouldnt be surprised if they were all on drugs. I ended up having one drink and making an excuse to get out of there as fast as I could. To top it off, I was insanely sick to my stomach the next morning! What did they do to my drink?! Great food. But if you're a solo diner? Being seated quickly is no issue. However, be prepared to wait an eternity for 1) water, 2) your beverage, and 3) anyone coming to take your meal order. My most recent trip: literally no one else seated after me for 30 min, the only other table had been served, and it took 25 min to get my one meal. And then a request for silverware. Disappointing. I usually tip 20%+ as an ex-server and ex-bartender in earlier years. But I can't under these circumstances. That makes me sad. I just moved literally a half mile away and if the food was not so excellent, I'd not come back. Maybe pickup is the only way to avoid this. read more

We check our bank accounts as this is something that happens more often than you'd like to think. We have the receipt as well as the bank statement. It is an extremely dishonorable thing to do and it's called stealing! We will be disputing this. It's the principle and we're worried this might be a common occurrence. Stealing from customers, regardless of the amount, is just wrong and unethical. Unfortunately this has left a bad taste in our mouth and won't be coming back. I went with my parents and sister. Mom had the huarache, dad the Chile relleno, and my sister and I had the torta mestizo. The only complain was my moms huarache it was very chewy and they mixed her meat instead of just serving her campechano. My dad really like the Chile it was spicy. The torta was the star of the show! It was the best torta I've had in a while. I couldn't finish it all and took it home, my sisters ended up eating the leftovers once they came home from school asked for more!
