I stood there 5-10 minutes before someone brought my food from the back. It would be professional to share with your customer what is going on. I would appreciate it being told my food will be coming from the back and they'll be a few minutes late. Just that simple action would put the customer at ease. Service I get here is worse than I get in Chinatown from grumpy old men. You can always tell if the employees are happy or not. And they always take it out on the consumers.
