Don't let that scare you off though -- this place is a well-oiled machine and everything felt organized and under control. Our server was fantastic: calm, attentive, and never pushy. I ordered the country fried steak with collards and mashed potatoes with gravy, and my husband got a burger. My meal was excellent, and it came with a perfectly flaky biscuit. The tea was Southern SWEET tea, too. My husband said his burger was good for a diner, fresh vegetables and the fries were seasoned well. The diner itself is adorable, full of character and charm. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely come back.

Wow! The customer service first and foremost was spectacular. My waitress was Cassandra who was very pleasant and knowledgeable of what was best to order. I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect. It was literally a half of delicious fried chicken with strawberry butter and a sweet and spicy dipping sauce and hot perdect waffles. We tried to get our waitresses attention and it required us to raise our hands and leave it there because we weren't being checked on. They offered to make me a new sandwich after I just asked for new bread (which was great). Everyone was done eating by the time it was made for me (a breakfast sandwich). For checkout, they charge you an 18% service fee and then ask you for a tip. That seemed very odd to me. I asked for at least a discount for the mold and wait and they decided to grant me a 10% discount on only the sandwich (i got smoked sausage added to my sandwich which was a little over $3 and that wasn't part of the discount, only the base price of the sandwich), so the discount was about 90 cents off. Wouldn't recommend this place unfortunately.
