Wow! The customer service first and foremost was spectacular. My waitress was Cassandra who was very pleasant and knowledgeable of what was best to order. I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect. It was literally a half of delicious fried chicken with strawberry butter and a sweet and spicy dipping sauce and hot perdect waffles. I was at metro diner this morning for the first time. My server was Ashanti!!!! She was the best. I was greeted by her bright smile and the smell of waffles. I was told i could sit anywhere. For checkout, they charge you an 18% service fee and then ask you for a tip. That seemed very odd to me. I asked for at least a discount for the mold and wait and they decided to grant me a 10% discount on only the sandwich (i got smoked sausage added to my sandwich which was a little over $3 and that wasn't part of the discount, only the base price of the sandwich), so the discount was about 90 cents off.
