I can tell this place is inventive and takes great care with their food so I see why the prices are so high. Kitchen staff also gets tipped out. Everything was different and good but my biscuit was so so dry which was sad! The scrapple also came out black. Some things I'd hopped were better!

Everyone steps in to support one another, and no one misses a beat. It's a well-oiled machine, and their experience clearly shows. I'm not sure how long some of them have been here, but larger companies could definitely learn a thing or two from this level of teamwork and service. They are attentive, friendly, and professional. Lastly, the food--absolutely outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, and I've tried several different meals without a single disappointment. And the coffee? Excellent. A solid 2 is all this place deserves. Stopped in recently for dinner. It was a 10 minute wait, no big deal. Place was pretty crowded. I ordered the pot roast. It was just fair.... the meat was ok, the mashed potatoes were cold, the gravy was a bland, watery, thin broth of some sort, devoid of any real flavor. I thought that gravy was supposed to be thick, savory, and rich, this had none of those things. The "vegetables" were 3 small carrot wedges and a smushed up piece of celery. I don't know how or why the pot roast here got the glowing reviews. Also tried the chili, which was disgraceful. The chili should be called "cumin soup"...as it had waaaaaay waaaaaay too much cumin in it. I like hot and spicy foods but this was terrible. It just needs a small pinch in the big pot of chili, folks. My dinner mate got the chicken pot pie, opted for the larger size. Took home the leftovers. She said it was pretty good. Service was efficient and friendly, the food.... mehhhhh...... Might try breakfast here. This place has potential but holy smokes they need to work out the kinks in the menu and food. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed our dining experience ; we had meals twice this week. The food was excellent; the grits and bacon was cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his breakfast meal along with the scrapple. The food was prepared very timely, no long waits. I like the fact that I can order breakfast, lunch and dinner any time of the day. Our server, Dawn, was informative about the menu, very accommodating and frequently checked to see if we needed anything. Dawn appeared very knowledgeable about the operation of the diner. Plus she and my husband had an amusing sense of humor. Delicious food... Great service!! I will definitely be back! 5/28/2018-I went with my daughter for breakfast. This was my first visit. The restaurant was busy; however, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Anne Marie, was awesome! She introduced herself with a warm smile, and went over the specials with us. Anne Marie was very attentive and friendly. The manager, Brianna, stopped by our table with a "complimentary" short stack (pancakes)...YUM! I got the Avocado Toast and my daughter had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Absolutely delicious!!! We asked about dinner choices (for our next visit) and now I can't wait to go back and try the Pot Roast. Till we meet again! read more

Our waitress Adrian was great and helped my mom with the perfect selections for her dietary needs which was really nice. I had the chicken and waffles. AMAZING!! Upon arrival, we were greeted by our hostess who lead us to our table where our family was already seated. Our server promptly arrived to offer beverages, take our orders, and answer questions. As we waited, the manager greeted us at our table and asked if there was anything we needed while our orders were being prepared. The restaurant was well lit with natural lighting and spacious as we remembered it a year ago. The menus were clear and offered a good selection of entrees, sides and daily specials. I ordered the Farmhouse Hasher with eggs over easy. My wife ordered one of the specials -- the double crunch breakfast tacos. Both were brought to us promptly. My wife loved the tacos and said she hadn't had such great tacos like that in quite a while. The farmhouse hasher was as I remembered it - the potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly; the bacon nice and crispy; and eggs over easy delicious. This will be our annual day-after-Thanksgiving morning tradition from now on!
