The salsa was a bit too chunky and sweet but still pretty good. The chips were crispy and salted well. The fresh salsa they give you to put on your tacos was a mix. The free was good but was not fresh enough. The red (guajillo I believe) was quite fresh and powerful. The service fell down briefly on a drink delivery but quickly recovered. Very authentic and delicious and reasonably priced Mexican food! So many nice things about the menu allowing options for everyone. They even had a "keto" bowl which I've never seen at any Mexican restaurant I've been to. Tips: ordering is at the front and they bring the food it to you. It looks shady being next to a gas station but it is not! Portions are huge so you may want to order less than you think.

The interior is beautiful with top to bottom detail and the people who work there are very kind and inviting. Their elote (street corn), in particular, were very bland and not at all what I expected, not to mention it was actually more esquite than elote. About half the bar was full and almost all the tables and it was quite loud. You order at the counter to the left of the bar, the menu is on big screens above the counter. I do wish they had a specific line for people who are doing doordash/carry out/etc. I had to wait almost 15 minutes in line when I could see my order just sitting there and it was already paid for. There is a little salsa bar off to the left of the ordering area, if it's not as busy the next time I come in I want to check that out. Service: They found my order quickly since it was the only one getting picked up for carry out. Food: YUM. I ordered the birria burrito. You literally will not need to eat a meal for the rest of the day if you get that or any other burrito. It had loads of flavor and a great blend/balance of ingredients. I will gladly order from here over chipotle and Qdoba any day of the week, supporting local places with great flavors, heck yeah! I really hope this place makes it. Not a single bartender explained the process--we actually had to go up to one ourselves just to figure out that we needed to put our names on the waitlist. We were told it would be a 45-minute wait. Knowing that, we decided to drive around Poygan and look at houses. When we came back 45 minutes later, once again, not a single person acknowledged or helped us. We ended up sitting at a table, where we were ignored for another 10+ minutes. We finally stopped one of the waiters, who told us, "The people at the bar will call your name when your table is ready." No drinks, no food--just shitty service and being treated like garbage. Don't go here. I would legitimately give this place 0 stars if I could.
