The food and the service are outstanding. We started with three dips that were delicious. My favorite dish for dinner was the spanakopita. Dessert was a sticky toffee cake with pistachio ice cream that was fantastic. This restaurant should be in anyone's short list when visiting PTown. read more

We love coming to Mezzeterranean for dinner. Sit out on the front deck, it's perfect out there. We have enjoyed dining here on multiple occasions each summer, and also had great service by Kinga. She is so friendly and engaging, and provides great service. The cocktail menu is appealing, we've enjoyed the Oracle of Delphi and Oedipus Complex each time. Then the food menu is the star, with many different, small sharable plates. Favorites include cauliflower & cumin fritters, spanakopita spiral, lamb lollipops, and cod cheeks. Everything is flavorful and uniquely delicious. We look forward to revisiting each summer. read more

We made a last minute reservation as our sunset cruise was cancelled. Service was very nice. I understand that the menu is small plates but the portions were very very tiny. The roasted eggplant was tasty however 2 small pieces for $18 or $19 is a clip. We ordered 2 dips & again very tiny. The spanakopita was disappointing. Underbaked & the flavors were off. We ordered baklava which was tasty but difficult to cut into. Just a warning we sat outside which was very nice. inside is very hot because of the open kitchen Glad we tried it but sadly will not return. read more

This restaurant opens at 5:30 for dinner. During lunch hours, it is called Yolqueria and it has a different menu. We arrived just before 5:30pm with no reservations and most of the tables out on the patio were spoken for. But the hostess was able to set up one for us at the last minute. The food is all tapas based. Small portions even for what they call "non nibble items", which are in a separate section than the dips and nibbles (which I thought were going to be the small little plates). We got a trio of dips (Muhamara, Hummus and Gaba Ganoush)...the Muhammara was spicy and heavy on paprika. The hummus was light and creamy. The Baba Ganoush was delicious and the best of the three for my taste. We also got a trio of chicken skewers. A dish consisting of a trio of flavors across the Mediterranean....pieces of chicken marinated with harissa, Greek and tandoori notes and accompanied with tzatziki sauce. I thought they were not bad but $20 for 6 small chunks of chicken was a bit steep. Our server (from Moldova) was nice and friendly. 07/25/2025 This place is listed as Mediterranean fare... but it's also 'tapas' or small plates. Knowing this, the plates are small, but with decent portions. After ordering a nice bottle of pinot noir, we started 'celebrating' our 32nd with Hummus, Taramosalata and the Lobster arincini. Then we ordered the lamb chops, cod cheeks and pork souvlaki. We shared all these plates and loved them all. To cap off the evening we also shared the Olive oil orange cake with lemon zested Greek yogurt. Another Wow dinner at Mezzeterranean. This time I feel we ordered better, eg less -- the food is so rich you just don't need as much. We started with just 2 of the smallest dishes, Babaganoush and Htipiti. Both delish. The latter is a tomato something whipped with feta, so quite rich. The portions may seem small but this was a perfect starter for us. I'm sorry not to have pix to post because the dishes are all really lovely to look at as well. Then we split Bacalhao, a salt cod Portuguese thing, and Saganaki Shrimp, grilled shrimp with a tomato and saganaki cheese relish. The bacalhao was really interesting, the cod is in chewy little flakes and there are eggs and potatoes as well. You can't exactly discern the ingredients, but it's delicious and a pleasant mouthfeel. For wine our nice waiter Marin suggested a vineyard from the slopes of Mt Etna in Sicily, Tenuta delle Terre Nere. We liked the white, but then LOOOved the red. You should try this wine with this food. For dessert we enjoyed the orange olive oil cake, with a dollop of rosemary ice cream. Elegant textures and delicate flavors. So, go! It's a unique concept you won't find elsewhere. The servers were all friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is elegant hip and tiny. Mezzeterranean does dinner as well as Yolqueria does breakfast. That's to say: a knockout. The dishes, in keeping with the mezze style, are small, but there's always enough for everyone to get a taste of everything. Don't come here expecting the tourist-trap-sized portions down the street. This is an elegant experience, not a feeding trough. A tapas restaurant can end up spewing chaotic energy, with plates showing up unannounced and at random, but Mezzeterranean choreographed our meal perfectly, with attentive servers who brought the dips and salad in one course, then the vegetarian dishes, and lastly the meats and fish. The pork belly got rave reviews, as did the lobster arancini. Chicken skewers too. Oh and the shrimp. The deconstructed Greek salad was an authentic horiatiki, and the tzatziki was so good that everyone finally understood why I order the dip everywhere I go. Spanakopita spiral? A unique way to shape spinach pie, but easier to share that way, and tasted great. My sister impulsively ordered all three of the desserts, and they were conclusively the best desserts we had all week. Mezze's drinks are also great, with clever "our take on a"-type cocktails named after Greek myths. I loved my color-changing-ice-cube tequila number. Just enough cheekiness, but still hitting the mark of what a real cocktail should be. My only identifiable downsides are toast and pita with the dips when there should just be more pita, and a QR code menu. That's it. Otherwise, a knockout. Dinner under their pergola as the sun set on the quiet part of Commercial St was a highlight of my week. Watch out Joon, Helltown and Sal's! We have eaten breakfast here several times and have always had excellent food and service. This was our first time for dinner and it did not disappoint. The chef/owner, Brandon, makes amazing small plates and his servers are especially attentive. The dining room is small but the patio has more seating. You will have to make a reservation so be sure to plan ahead. We had a large group so we just ordered everything. My personal standouts were the pork belly, patatas bravas, cauliflower fritters and lamb meatballs (kofte? I can't remember the name) My friends raved about the grilled shrimp, calamari and cod cheeks. The menu is incredibly varied and offers a huge variety of veg, meat and seafood options. Although we were absolutely stuffed by the end of this meal, we did have to taste all three desserts. The olive oil cake was light and not overly sweet. The toffee cake with caramel drizzle was delish and also not as sweet as one may imagine. I would have bought a whole cake of their orange cake and devoured it at home in one sitting. That dish seemed truly inspired and not found in a lot of restaurants. Overall, Mezze was a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning next year! read more

We happened onto this place on our first night in town. Having driven all day, we weren't super hungry and wanted to keep the dog with us. They were ok with our pup in their outside dining space and we were pleasantly surprised by the small plates. We had spanakopita, the falafel and couscous platter as well as skewers of chicken. Went here for an early dinner with a small group. Ordered the hummus and htipiti dips along with the smoked peaches and burrata to start...all drool-worthy! Moved on to the spanakopita, the lamb/pork meatballs and the chicken pastille. The chicken tasted a bit salty, but when we spoke to the waiter about it, they had a conversation with the kitchen and remade the whole batch. The second time around they tasted like a different food in the best way possible! We were seriously impressed from start to finish with the food certainly, but also the service. No place is going to be perfect all the time but the way to win my loyalty as a customer is how you handle when mistakes happen...and they were top notch! 10/10 would recommend. read more

Dinner at Mezzeterranean last night with husband and friends was absolutely fantastic. The flavor profiles that Chef Brandon has developed (and executed!) are innovative, edging into new territory but subtle. Highlights were the Cod cheeks and the baccalao. The calamari was the best we had ever had. The phyllo/ orange pie with basil ice cream was extraordinary. The service was superb- attentive, friendly, professional without being cloying. Mezze is a fabulous, intimate restaurant. The perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. They are adhering to all COVID protocols, so the seating is limited in both areas. I highly suggest making a reservation, especially during peak dinner times. We in fact did make a reservation, for two outside. We were lucky enough to be seated at the most wonderful table in the corner with a small view of the beach ocean line. It was the beginning of a fabulous evening. Zack was our server and he greeted us with his own personal flamboyant style and I was here for all of it. Throughout the evening other servers stopped by to check on us and our experience. Of note was Kinga, whom was incredibly friendly and very attentive to ensure everything that was coming to our table was to our liking. The warm host, Steven, whom also happens to be part owner definitely made his way around the patio to check in on his guests. He even took the time to suggest a beautiful bottle of wine to go with our evening of revelry. Mezze is a tapas restaurant. So we knew we would be able to order many menu items and share them. It is so wonderful when you can do that because you get to experience so many new things and so many different flavors. We started with Mediterranean style popcorn for the table. It went perfectly with our red wine. Next we had to order a variety of dips to go with the pitas. Zack and Kinga were able to suggest 3 that would give us a good variety and walk through the Mediterranean flavors. I love eggplant so we ordered the Grilled Eggplant with Pomegranate and Pistachios. We topped that off with the Lobster Risotto Croquette. One bite of the lobster croquette and it was over for me. That was it, that was perfection. Pure heaven in my mouth. I could have eaten an entire plate my self, but it was not necessary. The crispness of the croquette, combined with the warmth of the lobster risotto that melted in my mouth. It was like a dream. We loved it!!! We planed on ordering more, but as the night went on we became satiated. We had the perfect atmosphere, along with a delicious bottle of wine, a phenomenal dinner, great conversation, and restaurant staff that felt like friends by the time our night ended. We had found our dreamy beach night at Mezze. We later thanked the men who made our delicious evening happen, both Brandon Quesnell, the head chef, and Gavin Barracks, the sous chef. They are both masterful artists in their craft and they deserved acknowledgment for making our night perfect. My wife and I made reservations to eat here. We were unable to get in without reservations. The food was beyond our expectations. The wait staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We like the small plates which allowed us to sample a greater variety. The food presentation is superb. We enjoyed everything about this evening starting with the welcome through the service, cocktails, and food. One of our party is both gluten-free and vegan, which is a tough combination! We were assured that this wasn't a problem for the kitchen, and it wasn't. The hummus was tasty and the accompanying pita triangles were soft, warm, and flavorful instead of the dry tasteless pita that's too often served. Shrimp and chicken skewers had interesting flavors as well. Even the 'deconstructed Greek salad' was special, with feta cheese triangles that we enjoyed when in Greece, instead of the typical crumbled feta you get in the States. The Ruins of Pompei Aperol cocktail was light and refreshing. The grilled eggplant our vegan companion ordered was gorgeously presented, and we were told very enjoyable. Two of us shared an olive oil orange cake with rosemary ice cream to end the meal. Once again this was flavorful, a not-too-sweet dessert that you can't get just anywhere. This dinner was special and fun. If you judge your dinner solely based on quantity of food presented per dollar paid, this probably isn't the place for you. Happened upon this place when looking for a light bite to eat in Provincetown. While the menu sounded innovative and different the food was lacking in flavor. A few of the dishes we ordered needed salt, or lemon, or some seasoning. The cod cheeks were delicious, definitely benefiting from the saltiness of the capers. The price for two lamb lollipops is steep, and seemed overpowered by the amount of accompanying sauce/dips - adding a third would have solved this. The complimentary popcorn with seasoning was good, maybe slightly stale. Drinks looked good going to another table, we did not partake. Our server had only two tables, and was less than attentive. We had empty water glasses several times. The runner who ran out our food and explained each dish was great - friendly and professional. Overall I would be hesitant to recommend but I'm sure to the average dinner they would find a good meal. read more

Everything that we orders was delicious with a great presentation -- lobster croquettes, lamp chops, greek salad, etc. -- well plated and delicious. I had low expectations of the restaurant as I was generally unfamiliar with it and it turned out to be a winner. In many ways this restaurant represents the new wave of restaurants in Provincetown -- more interesting menus, crafted cocktails, and inviting and competent staff.
