Was out in Riverside for soccer today. During the game break we had to eat. This was the only place close. I am all about the greasy spoon places. This was good and reminded me of Fantastic Burgers back in the South Bay. I got a breakfast burrito. It is not as big as say a Louie burger burrito in Torrance. But it was still good. Ok so I don't normally leave bad reviews even on places I don't like but I'm disappointed to say the quality of the food here has gone down quite a bit since the last time I was here. The price was extremely high, just for two chicken breast sandwiches not even combos, it was 15$ the girl taking my order asked me if I wanted the 2.99 sandwiches and I'm thinking it must be a small version like a kids size. I politely declined and she said I'll have your total at the window. I'm thinking these sandwiches can't be more than 6$ each which is what I remember from a year or two ago. This place is very good, the owner is a very nice guy and the food is usually on point. Bacon cheese burger is my favorite, steak dinner is also tasty. Expect it well done though, as that's pretty much how they will do it regardless (steak is very thin so I understand) It's a bit pricey but I don't mind. read more

Guess they're called MGM BURGERS for a reason because they're definitely not known for their salads...very disappointed. I felt sick after just a couple bites and had to throw the entire thing out. I live here over 12 years and been coming to this place off and on within the 12 years, what I'm going to say is constructive criticism I hope you take it that way but us as customers noticed a lot of things when you guys keep changing the flavor of your food and we noticed that,2. the portions are smaller ,not the same, so if you like more customers coming in, you know what to do. I have visited this local restaurant a handful of times on my way to work and to get a to-go dinner. So far the club sandwich, mushroom burgers or the classic breakfast menu have met my expectations. Wait time sometimes is longer than normal but i found out is because they grill the hamburgers as you order. Waiters/cooks are very easy to get along with. Only negative comment: that charge to use your credit card. I normally spend $40, so 50 cents do not make a difference but the fact that we as customers get charge to use an alternative payment method bothers me. Still I will recommend it. read more

Honestly I've never had this bad of service I went to the restaurant to their drive through ordered 3 burgers(1 adult meal and 1 kids meal which come with drinks so I ordered Dr pepper) and chicken strips the drive through worker did not repeat the order back in fact just said I'll see you at the window so we pulled ahead and proceeded to pay no greeting just took the card and made the payment also asked for ranch which they charge extra for kinda ridiculous in my opinion but it is what it is at this point I proceeded to go home and then realized the chicken strips aren't in the bag and I started to call them while drinking my drink figuring out that the drink isn't Dr pepper at the same time as getting told that we would have to call back the next day to talk to a manager so we decided to give them a second chance to make things right we went back to get the food I was shown that I wasn't charged for the chicken so I paid for the chicken and asked about the drinks and I got a blank stare instead of a response I've never been so disappointed with a business and I will not be returning (food is also lackluster). read more

I have eaten there 4 times, the food has been very good every time. I had a burger and fries this time and the fries were very good, the burger was a little cold, maybe because I ate the fries first. The thing that bugged me is seeing multiple cooks use their barehands in the cheese drawer below the counter and again using their bare hands in all of the raw ingredients like onions, Cole slaw etc. I don't think I could eat there again after seeing that. I've worked up the street from MGM burgers for over 7 years and I spent my last dollar there today. After avoiding them because of their crap service for over a year, I decided to try them again today. I've been through multiple owners, hair in my burgers and the worst customer service when it comes to calling in an order for pickup to expedite the process. I called and ordered a Mexican chicken salad. The girl said American chicken salad. I said no, Mexican chicken salad. TWICE. I went to pick up my salad and was charged 50 cents more than I expected. When I asked why, I was told I ordered an American chicken salad, which costs more, and not a Mexican chicken salad. I asked what the difference was. They said a shell. I then asked how it made sense to charge more for something without a shell and no one could give me an answer. The cashier talked to the cook and clerk who took my order. They kept telling me the difference was the shell. I've been through something similar before with their taco salad and Mexican chicken salad - only difference being shell or no shell. They don't even know their own menu!! After them trying to tell me I ordered something I most certainly did not for 3 minutes and finally telling me they can remake, or give the difference back, I left the ridiculous insanity occurring behind the counter. The whole purpose of calling it in was to make it go quickly!! If you need to eat because you're starving, they'll do in a pinch. Otherwise drive a little further up the street and go anywhere but here! Baker's Mex meal #1 chicken salad hits the spot! Surprisingly clean on the inside. Friendly staff for the most part. I generally get the breakfast burrito, which is pretty decently sized. The burgers are good sized as well, with some(Chili Cheese Burger) that are extra large. Pastrami sandwich was large and excellent, but IMO, it's hard to mess up a Pastrami. Fries are larger sized, and sometimes come out a little on the soft side. Order them well done if you want them crispy or even slightly crispy. read more

Negative 10 stars . I went to this place and ordered carne asada fries on my bday thru drive thru and once I checked the carne asada fries I was too far to return them :( and guess how they made CARNE asada fries ?? With chopped up hamburger meat thrown into them with some watery guacamole!!! It was so horrible and I love carne asada fries :( I never complain about any places but this was really wrong . we waited in the drive thru for 15 min for some thrown together hamburger meat and fries on my bday! What's worse is only because I called to explain to the manager and if I could get a refund and she was so rude to me like if I was lying.I told her I even took a picture of the chopped up hamburger meat to prove to her and all she said was you need to return the food. But I couldn't return it because I was at the drive in so I had just thrown them away instead and ate fries only. So I highly don't recommend this place they are very unproffessional with handling customer service and their staff is very rude by the way. Not to mention their disgusting gross hamburger meat !
