Service started out bad. Nobody came to our table after being sat for awhile. We waited until another waiter said current one is busy. Chips and salsa were great, we got some to go for free. I got Mama's chicken, and wifey got the enchiladas which were good too. The queso blanco was super bland though. Everything needed more salt, pepper. Ambiance is niceX we ate outside. Looks fancy inside. Jeans at least to wear.

I love this location! The food is incredible and our waiter was so attentive and kind. He was funny and had good recommendations for menu items. It's very clean and a nice place to dine out! The food is great for the price :)

My fiancé and I aren't usually fans of Mexican food, but it was wonderful! The food was fresh and the portions are large for the price. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained as well. Our server was relatively inattentive (empty drinks, waiting a while to order), but everything else was wonderful. Edit: Docking one more star because we were charged almost TWENTY dollars for queso. We were charged more for queso than our actual food.

We stopped by here for a quick lunch the other day and were not disappointed. The brisket tacos are very good here - chunky, tender pieces of brisket folded in to appropriately toasted corn tortilla with a hint of cheese and spicy salsa on the side. What's not to love? The rice that comes on the side is delicious and very flavorful, chock-full of herbs and deep flavor. Our server was polite and kind. He refilled our drinks quickly and was knowledgeable about the menu. Guacamole was also very good and chips were fresh. The outdoor seating area is nice and spacious and also covered so you're not fully exposed to the heat and sun. Great place for outdoor lunch or casual dinner with friends or family.

This place never disappoints. Tried this dish for the first time and loved every bite. Efrain was our server and treated us to an excellent service. Thank you!

My experience at this location did not go as I had imagined. Our server Mr.Efrain was very friendly to those at my table, but was not as engaged with us compared to other tables around. A table that was seated roughly 15 minutes after us ordered before us, and we waited another 10 minutes before we were given the opportunity to order food. I ordered the beef enchiladas, and received chicken instead. I began to eat my enchiladas after finishing my sides, and was enjoying myself with those at my table, until I bit into a bone that was in my enchiladas. I did not finish my meal, and I proceeded to ask for the check. The atmosphere is good with many families and friends, but it can get very loud during busy hours with tables being so close to each other. I am hoping my next experience is not like this one if I were to try it again.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

A red salsa which was mild and has some nice acidity from the tomato. Then there was a creamy green salsa that had a nice spice. Then finally my personal favorite a great black bean dip. The poblano sauce was creamy cheesy and delicious. There was a nice spiced shredded chicken super tasty. Overall a fantastic restaurant with great service too !

We loved the enchiladas Suiza and the tacos de Camarón. The shrimp tacos were delicious, but be aware they're pretty spicy. Highly recommend both entrees. The Carne Asada is a bit cost prohibitive compared to other Mexican restaurants.

The service is CRAZY good. And if you're lucky enough to find a spot at the bar, you're in for an even better drink/food journey. Favorites: the carne asade and seafood chile relleno (w/Serrano queso). If your dining mate will split these two dishes with you, you're going to have the perfect meal. All their drinks are good, but among my favorites are the Mezcalita and La Diabla. If you're unsure, you can share your liquor/cocktail preference and the bartenders will serve you something delicious. Also, if you like things spicy, they have a creamy green salsa that is . You just have to ask. I can't wait to try their new location (mostly because I want to see how some of my favorite bartenders are doing over there). Sueño deserves all the success because they truly care about your experience from start to finish. Which reminds me, get the churros if you save room.

It had a cute patio (it was too cold at the time) and inside is somewhat intimate with how dimly lit it is. Service was pretty straightforward, we ordered and we were checked on consistently. We finished off with the coconut flan and it was everything I wanted. The coconut flavor and flakes added a whole different level to flan for me. I've never had it this way before. Our waitress gave exemplary service and was attentive and personable. We started our meal with the complementary chips and salsa. Easily THE BEST chips and salsa combo there is. The salsa is smoky and flavorful and the chips are so light and crispy- absolute perfection! We also had a cup of queso which really hit the spot. For an entree I had a cheese enchilada and a chicken tinga enchilada with rice and beans. It was all so delicious. The chicken tinga was juicy and had excellent flavor. The cheese enchilada was great too, a very satisfying chili con carne goes so well with the melty cheese. Of course the rice and beans are never just rice and beans here- they were both delicious too- Pappasitos really has great attention to detail when it comes to developing scrumptious recipes. For dessert we had the tres leches which was excellent. Sweet, but not overly so- and bouncy sponge cake. Very nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress gave me a to-go cup to finish the rest of my passion fruit drink. It was a nice way to cap out our perfect meal at Pappasitos. We'll definitely be back again soon. The entire experience was A+!

My wife and I have been coming to Papasitos for many years. We love the fajitas and the margaritas…read moreand ambience. Today was her birthday (one of those that come every 10 years) and she wanted to go to Papasitos. I made reservations, checked the box that we were celebrating a BD. We arrived ahead of our reservation and had a little wait for a table. No problem. The young lady from the check in seated us and ask if we were celebrating anything. I told her that it was my wife's birthday, but she didn't want the full blown hooten hollering sombrero celebration. We waited 8-10 minutes before a server came to our table. He immediately apologized for the wait and said that he was helping out another waiter that was supposed to have our table. He took our drink order and soon returned with our drinks. To my surprise, he proceeded to take our food order. I thought he was temporarily helping out until the other server could catch up and take over. That wasn't the case. Ok, No problem so far. I'm giving 2 stars because the food came out super fast and hot and delicious. Then our server delivers hot flour tortillas.., all 3 of them. After each eating one taco, we were ready for another batch. Now this is where it started to go downhill. Several minutes go by and I could not grab his attention. I literally had to waive my hand in the air to flag him down across the restaurant. He finally looked my direction and soon delivered more tortillas. That was the last we saw of him. No checking on our table, no refills on our drinks, no nothing. After we finished our meal, we waited another 25 minutes to try to get his attention to close out our meal. He would never look our way. He was like a horse with blinders. Honestly, I think he forgot that he was our server OR MAYBE he saw us as 2 people and his gratuity was going to be smaller compared to the larger tables. Finally, I flagged down another server from another table and ask if he could close us out. He asked if we had a paper receipt, which we had not. He closed us out on his iPad. I didn't even get the chance to order my wife a dessert to celebrate the occasion. No bueno! Let's just say the service was abysmal and absolutely unacceptable. My man went MIA. It is questionable whether I will return to this establishment.
