The place is know for their amazing food and services depending on the day now I guess. Went on this day of Friday March 20th around 3:00pm and our waitress wasn't in the greatest customer service mood.. Since we sat down till we left not once did she check up on us if we needed anything else which we did but never offered the customer service that any restaurant now a days offers by checking up your tables. It wasn't even busy at all compared to times they actually are which is the interesting part for our waitress to not even check up on us. Love the place but their customer service need to improve specially when places like this expect a tip. read more

Alright so continuing to try New Mexican restaurants. Saw this on doordash and looked great. Tacos- looked small especially for the price but it looks like homemade tortillas, and definitely filled enough for the price. Tender and delicious Sopes- again price is higher than most but they give you your money's worth. Delicious and fully packed. I will say the sopes themselves were a bit dense but other than that delicious! Wife had the torta but I didn't try it. Looks like a good ration of filling to bread. I will say that everyone could make these better by simply removing some of the bread white inside. Not taking this out makes the torta have too much bread and eats dry a lot. Overall I recommend this place. Curious to try some of their specialty mil sheets but loved the food! read more

Food quality is good service is just meh, we ordered a parillada and it was pretty small for $50. They didnt give me something i ordered. They often left the tables un waitered so no one was around! Its like the waiters where in the kitchen, pretty much if your looking for good food AND service dont come here ! They were stocking beer and hamburger bun right next to us at 7pm. Honestly pretty disappointed with this visit. When i came in it was dead no ine was inside im disappointed that the hand made tortillas looked like they were made on a grill that has never been cleaned i included a picture. We drove to several restaurants looking for a nice sit down restaurant. We must have drove by 5 places. They were either to small or taco places or no real parking nearby, limited parking. We finally spotted this place and took a chance. It wasn't big but they had seating available, a place to park our truck on street. My husband had the two chile relleno w rice and beans I had the cielo mar y tierra ( deep fried quail, 5 sautéed shrimp and carne asada R&B. My plate came first, my husbands a bit later... device was a bit slow I think there was only one cook... it happens. We didn't want to start eating w o our tortillas of course! Finally the tortillas came, fresh homemade corn tortillas to our surprise. My food was REALLY GOOD, my husbands hugemongous chiles were so good! In the end we were satisfied and that's what counts. The most disgusting Mexican food I've ever had. I never speak so poorly about food but this food was so gross it made me sick! The tacos were repulsive... the tortillas where cold and greasy and the asada tasted like dry ground beef. Something as basic as their chips and salsa were flavorless, the salsa was watered down tomato sauce. Their service was extremely slow and my party and I were the only ones there. Ok, so I had tried this place about a year ago and wasn't impressed. I had heard that the menu had changed and I'm not sure if the owners did as well but it was definitely not the same. So the restaurant was full but i noticed that a lot of people were just sitting with no food. We decided to give it to try and so glad we did. So you sit yourself and then they bring you chips and salsa and take your drink order. The chips are delish but the salsa is not the best. We noticed tables were not getting their food at the same time and of course who likes to eat while other people are still waiting for their food. We waited about an hour for our food and we were prepared to eat alone but our food came together and the wait was worth it! Extremely fresh and flavorful. Homemade corn or flour tortillas. My dish came in a molcajete and they have several to choose from. Mine came with grilled chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, grilled cactus, queso fresco, grilled Serrano's and green tomatillo salsa. I would say to only go here if you are ok with waiting for your food. The service was ok but they can improve in their organization skills. AGAIN....THE FOOD IS WORTH IT!!! read more

Went here and its good dont get me wrong but the customer service we received was bs! We were the only table in there. The young girl who was taking our order took 15 minutes to bring our drinks. Then when she brought our food she just left the plates and walked away. We had to get up and ask for refills and napkins because she was too into her conversation with the cook. We finished and we waited another 20 min before we had to get up and ask for our tab. She took the tab to our table and we handed her the money before she left again. She brought our change and when we were leaving she was out in the back with the cook talking and laughing. Me and my wife ate at this place once, she ordered shrimp and mushrooms, when she got her plate it had no mushrooms but it had ham. We asked why and they said because they were out of mushrooms. Shouldn't they have asked my wife "there is no mushrooms would you like ham or would you like to change your order?" Ya, and my tacos were ok and the waitress was rude! I never write reviews but today was Father's Day and my family and I got terrible service at this place. Food was okay, but service was horrible! Our family of 5 ordered food, we waited about 30 min and received 1 dish out of 5. Then 5 minutes later we received another dish. Other tables that had arrived after us were receiving their food. We never received the other orders. We asked and they told us they were about to make it, we decided that we would rather cancel it as they were barely going to make it. I asked the woman to give the check and paid her, but as I was reviewing my order, I noticed that she had charged me an extra drink. I told her and instead of apologizing, she wanted to excuse herself by saying that we had ordered 6, I explained that we only had 5, but she just couldn't process it ( clearly there was only 5 bottles at our table). At the end the owner/manager helped me out and apologized saying that the person who placed the order was new and the cooks made a mistake. We left the place to get back on the road with no food. Very disappointing to get this kind of service. read more
