I'm saddened to say the food wasn't good. I got beef tacos and I was very disappointed. I'm not sure if I will be back. Everyone has different tastes so I'd stilll encourage others to try a small business

I was craving pozole so checked out yelp for a good place on a weekday. It was a Wednesday - and once again- yelp came thru for the win. Delicious pozole! I was NOT disappointed. Generous portions of pork and hominy. Wife had the carne asada plate, also delicious. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Service was fast and efficient. We will be back!

We found this place through Yelp. It didn't matter if we had to drive off the beaten path in our way home on the 15 freeway. We wanted good Mexican food. This place did not disappoint. It seems it is runner by family. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. When we got there, many people were already leaving. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great people.

One of the best tasting chile rellenos in town! I particularly enjoyed it as a burrito with rice and beans. The chile was flavorful, stuffed with melted cheese and had a tender fried batter coating. The al pastor grande taco was also tasty with a large meat portion size. The beef tacos dorados were very crispy with a plentiful filling and topping of lettuce, crema, and shredded cheese. One of the few places here serving chocoflan. This dessert is a mysterious thing which goes into an oven to bake all mixed together. The flan and chocolate then separates into each individual layer to make a delicious creamy cake dessert. I had ordered the food through DoorDash. Now I will need to return in person to dine in someday.

We were driving down the 91 and I looked up some Mexican food nearby and ended up finding this place. I said let's give it a shot and I'm very glad we did. We ordered the Menudo, birria tacos and the chicken flautas. We also got the Horchata and a Michelada. Hands down some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time I come from a family that only eats home cooked meals, and their food at this restaurant reminded me of home. The menudo was actually one of the best menudos I've had, I ordered it without the hominy and it was 10/10 I'd really like to come back soon and try the gorditas I've heard they are bomb. The service was also 10/10 everyone in there is super friendly and helpful when it comes to getting things you need. I hope you give this spot a try as I will also being going again ! Íbamos manejando por la 91 y busqué comida mexicana cerca; encontré este lugar y dije: "¡Vamos a probarlo!", y la verdad me alegra mucho que lo hicimos. Pedimos menudo, tacos de birria y flautas de pollo. También pedimos una horchata y una michelada. Sin duda, ¡es de la mejor comida mexicana que he probado en mucho tiempo! Vengo de una familia que solo come comida casera, y la comida de este restaurante me recordó mucho a casa. El menudo fue de los mejores que he probado; lo pedí sin maíz (nixtamal/hominy) y le doy 10/10. Definitivamente quiero regresar pronto para probar las gorditas, he escuchado que están buenísimas. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We loved how the owner, Juan, took the time to greet everyone and came personally to our table to ask how everything was and even proceeded to get to know us a bit. It definitely gives a homely feeling. We were only in town for a wedding and found the restaurant on Yelp, but we'll definitely stop by every time we're in town. Their food menu is unbelievable. You don't know what to get because of the variety but the place gets pretty packed so you have to make sure you look at the menu before you get there. We ordered the quesabirria tacos that come with consomé, rice and beans and also the carne asada with huevos rancheros. Finger licking good!! We totally recommend it!!

Great food and friendly service Lots of food served with each dish. Prices are very reasonable. I had the Gorditas plate with 2 gorditas, Rice and beans. Thr gorditas were amazing and so full of meat that I had to take half of the dinner home Definitely a place to try if you want delicious authentic Mexican food. A lady came to my table to ask if I liked the food. She may have been the owner? I told her it was fantastic. I definitely will be back. read more

Just a quick update to my last review. I'm happy to announce that they're now open until 8pm which means I've been able to return more frequently. Their food is still amazing. Can't get enough of those chili verde chicken enchiladas. Also the beef tacos dorados & papa tacos are super yummy. Will definitely be returning soon to try some new items. Service is also still great which is a major plus for me. It's an easy decision to support a local business when they're nice on top of having great food. read more

A must!!!!! Absolutely everything on the menu is amazing. Was recommended by a friend and now my entire family is hooked. Weekends they have handmade tortillas. We got a take out order for the family, I would definitely recommend the larger tacos because you get more meat in your tacos. The Asada and Al Pastor were delicious and I really enjoyed the Tripas tacos which were crispy and delicious. Their salsa also has the right amount of heat and flavor to accent the tacos along with the radishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Good food and quick service. Smallish inside with about 8 4 person tables, you order at the counter but they bring you your food. Had the quesabirria tacos and the al pastor burrito. Both were delicious. Tacos were filling and the consome was on point. The al pastor was super tender. I will definitely come back. Next time I'm trying the birria pizza. read more

This place is like home; the owner and her staff are very welcoming. The food is amazing. if they had 10 stars here I would give it to them. I've had hard times finding good Mexican food and I'm glad to have found this place cause of my barber. There huevos con chorizo, rice and beans is delicious. We wanted to try a new place and found this restaurant. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and overall welcoming. I ordered the birria plate with consome on the side. It came with rice, beans, and hand-made tortillas. In my experience, this is some of the best birria I've had up in the high desert; jucy, tender, and savory. I also enjoyed the rice and beans. The consome was just right and flavorful. The food here was very delicious! We came in and the employees were extremely attentive and they provided us with chips and salsa while we waited for our food. The prices here are reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. I got the chorizo burrito and it was very delicious. Stopped in Saturday 2/3/24 around 2pm a Chile Verde Burrito, carne asada fries, kids bean/cheese and a fish taco. It was amazing, fresh and delicious. Chile Verde was amazing, Burrito size was decent, thr carne asada fries were Bomb, amazing fries and great steak/asada and their green salsa made it even better. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Definitely recommend, and will return! read more

The restaurant is warm, cozy, and full of charm, with a beautiful country-style atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. I ordered the salmon with pesto sauce, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and absolutely delicious. It came with a fresh green salad topped with sunflower seeds, flavorful beans, and fresh guacamole. Every part of the meal was excellent. My son loved his burrito, and everyone at our table was happy with what they ordered. We finished with the flan, which was one of the best I've had--smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. Even the coffee was served in a beautiful traditional Mexican ceramic cup, which made the experience feel even more special. You can truly feel the love and care that goes into both the food and the hospitality here. If you're driving between Orange County and Las Vegas, this restaurant is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be coming back on our next trip!
