Had an incredible lunch at Mi Mexico. The staff was very friendly, chips and homemade salsa on the table within minutes. We ordered the Ultimate Margarita and I promise you won't be disappointed. They serve with just the right amount of ice and bring the margaritas in a shaker so you get 1 1/2 glasses for you perfectly priced $12. I ordered the Tacos Al carbon and the plate was as big as a serving platter. 3 tacos rice and beans. The meat was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The Hubs got the El Pastor burrito which was also oversized. I have zero complaints and only compliments to the chef and staff. We will be back. read more

Headed out of town and stopped here for breakfast. We've been here before for dinner and the food was excellent, make sure you get one of their margaritas too! Wow! Have been eating what I'll call TexMex for decades. MM is spot on. Service and ambiance is spot on as well.

After downing a few beers at the Red Ale Brewing Company, we made our way over. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. I remember being in this same building before but I can't recall the name Since it was still nice out, we opted to eat outside on the large deck. Since I already had a couple of beers, I ordered a margarita. I guess since I am from SA, I was expecting a frozen margarita. However, it was served on the rocks. It was decent, didn't seem very strong though. We were also provided chips and salsa. The salsa was different than what I am used to but unique in its own way. To eat, I played it safe and went with the cheese enchilada plate. Food was good! I forgot to take a photo of the food (blame it on the beers), but I did snap a pic of the margarita. Since I get to eat a lot of Mexican food back in SA, I wasn't terribly impressed by this place. It would be on par with Las Palapas. So crazy that the best in Colorado is in this small, cute town. We started with soups: green chilie stew and albondigas. Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. They have a wonderful outside patio and fun decorating inside. Service was great. And the food was beyond expectations. We ordered the sopes which is a wonderful corn patty griddled with meat and toppings on top. We each got one Carne and one Pastore. Both were amazing as were the rice and beans. The chips and salsa were wonderful as well and they kept them filled. The salsa was homemade and had a nice little spice to it. The price was perfect and we received far more than we ever would've expected. We hadn't eaten anything else that day and we're absolutely starving and love a huge meal.
