We've been here before and generally gotten good service. Today, we came in for dinner and "Taco Tuesday." I ordered the enchilada combo plate and two tacos, the wife ordered a combo and asked for a side of guacamole. Before getting our food, we finished our iced teas and chips and never did get offered a refill of either one. Dinner finally came, and my combo plate never came, nor did anyone check on us to see if everything was OK. The wife never for the guacamole either. As mentioned before, they never checked to see if we wanted a refill on drinks. After asking to get the bill, we waited 15 minutes without getting it. After asking a second time, we were charged for the items we did not receive. After requesting the bill be fixed, we were questioned about the fact that we didn't get our food, as though we were making it up. Good luck Mi Pueblo, we won't be back. read more

Best Mexican food I have ever had! Chili Rellanos are huge and the rice and beans are devine. I definitely hate beans and only tolerate refried, but i would swim in the refried beans here! Lunch prices are good and dining room is clean and comfortable. This will be my go-to place for a great affordable meal. read more

I arrived about 1:00 for lunch and the place was very busy, which I took as a good sign. A reliable friend recommended this place so I was looking forward to a good meal. Either I ordered the wrong thing (Camarones al a Diabla) or it was an off day. My plate looked more like a dry shrimp fajitas (there was no sauce) than the red Diabla sauce I expect. And it was very bland, which is ironic because it should be one of the spiciest dishes in the restaurant. The shrimp itself was a little dry and tough too. Once my plate was delivered to my table I never saw my waiter again, so I got none of the attention to my empty chips, empty salsa, and empty soda that I would have liked. Went there the night before Thanksgiving with my parents, who live in the area and frequent this restaurant. It was quite crowded, as people probably wanted to get out of the house before engorging themselves with turkey and other items on Thursday. As for the service, we were seated immediately and had chips and salsa within minutes. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. As for our orders, my mother went with a Super Chicken Burrito and my father went with a Shrimp burrito, I was hungry, so I went with the Padre Macho that included a choice of meat, refried beans, rice, cheese, topped with sauce, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, onion and cilantro, I am not a fan of beans, so I left those out. Had a party and used Mi Pueblo for the taco bar. Three kinds of meat ... all delicious. Fresh chips and salsa. We were blown away by the salsa verde! Seriously delicious. Even better, the restaurant was very helpful and accommodating in all respects. They helped customize the order for our needs, AND both pickups they helped us carry everything to the car. I was very impressed with their customer service, reasonable pricing, and the quality of their food. I would most definitely recommend them, and use them for catering in the future. read more

Got the macho burrito no meat extra guac and they added parmesan cheese on top. Yuck! Weird on a burrito usually I see Parmesan in an Italian restaurant and typically won't ask for it. I recently moved to Windsor and found the Mexican food in this area quite underwhelming. I have been a frequent customer to this restaurant since it opened and have found it to be a very nice dining experience. It's salsa bar, tables and restrooms are impeccably clean. I ordered the carne asada plate and found the presentation, quality of ingredients and freshness top-notch. Saturday and Sunday they offer fresh handmade tortillas with their orders. I love handmade tortillas so this really is a treat for me. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is excellent. Very fast friendly service. I was very pleased with the service here. they were super busy and I was immediately seated and they brought chips and our drinks within 5 min of walking in. We placed our kids orders when the drinks came and their food was really fast. they have a great kids menu! Every Tuesday is taco Tuesday and they have really cheap but delicious tacos and cheap beer. I thought all of the food was really good and well prepared. I got a regular burrito, steak. Dry. Oh so Dry, and tasteless. Third time here and not suprised that it was a shit meal. I had to douse the burrito with the salsa they gave us which tasted of pure tomato sauce (I could overlook the salsa though seeing as the chips had a weird smell to them almost plasticy or something). Im really upset I gave this place my money. Numerous times I've tried to enjoy this place but man now this is a straight slap in the face from the kitchen. Theres no reason anyone should have hard beans and dry meat in a burrito and be expected to pay for it. You have robbed me of my time and money. Some helpful advise, stop cheating your customers and actually make what they expect to pay for. I cant even eat this damn thing because its so dry...Good bye mi pueblo. read more

We went in today for lunch and had two burritos one was with shredded chicken and chorizo and another was with steak and chorizo. The burritos were a good size but the chorizo and one of the burritos was undercooked and overcooked and the other we went in on a Saturday and they were very busy with only one waitress and one Busser It took a long time to get our food we love that mi Pueblo in Petaluma and I think the food quality better there. Windsor, you are SO lucky to have a Mi Pueblo! My first experience with Mi Pueblo was in the original location in Petaluma and I have not forgotten how amazing it was. The same family owns this location and they have lived up to their standards! YUM! First of all, their salsa bar is my favorite thing ever! The jalapeno sour cream is something that I now crave and their pico de gallo is SO fresh! Some must trys include: the chicken tortilla soup, the chile relleno, and the super burrito with mole (some serious bang for your buck with that dish!). The salsa bar was amazing. However the lure of fresh tortillas was unfulfilled which was disappointing. My friend had the Horchata and it was very watered down and he called it offensive (as in he didn't want us to try it as our first time because it wasn't a good Horchata). I have been to Mi Pueblo 5 times since opening and have had a great experience every time. Their burritos are delicious and I love that they serve them with a red sauce. Well is the third time trying it and the third time I'm disappointed first time I'm reviewing. Got a burrito carne asada and another one for my girlfriend pollo asado. Both dry beans at least 2 to 3 days old salsa at least a day old chips had bonded with the cardboard they were held in it's really disappointing to because if people in this town actually understood with good food was then lackadaisical businesses wouldn't be getting away with stealing our money like this if for some strange reason the owners are reading this you're lucky these Caucasians don't know what real Mexican food taste like because you know it's crap I know it's crap just keep it real. Finally! I will no longer have to go elsewhere for Mexican food when eating near home. Definitely one of the larger and more rounded menus for Mexican food in Windsor and delicious. I'm sure it will continue to get even better as they have only been open for a couple months at most. We would frequent the Petaluma and Rohnert Park locations and we can't be more thrilled to finally have them here! Salsa and chips are bomb and I recommend the Molcajete. Comfortable sized sit down restaurant, friendly staff, fast service. I like Mexican food simple, like tacos, and they have the best. Sometimes when I feel crazy I get a crunchy taco, like the regular tacos, but, you know, crunchy. They have a nice rounded menu which includes a variety of seafood and ten taps. TV's in the nice family sized bar. You can watch a game and not worry about the cops breaking up a fight type family bar. I rarely eat in Windsor even though I live there so I was trying to find a new go-to place that was close to my house and I definitely did! They bring salsa that is not at all hot for the kids which is so nice because my 2 and 3 year old loooove "dippy." Pretty sure its just like enchilada sauce, but they were happy with it. They also have the best pico de gallo I have ever had! It is amaaazing. Mexican food is my favorite and I can not believe I had never eaten here before. I've been here once for dine-in and once for takeout. Both experiences have been great! Service is friendly and quick. The food is super good, even the little 'salad' they serve with the entrees. Most of the time that is wasted cabbage on the plate. I thought it was tasty! It did not have a runny sauce that seeped into the other items on my plate. We decided to try this place based on the yelp reviews and we're not disappointed. The chips come hot to your table, the food is really good, the kids menu has lots of options and the wait staff is super friendly and attentive. They need to work on ambiance, put up some lights and soften the strip mall feel. I had the shrimp fajitas and there could have been a few more shrimp, the the amazing tortillas made up for it. My husband got the California burrito and it was HUGE! And he loved it! I got a regular burrito and that was also a decent size for being regular! The orange-ish spicy salsa definitely won me over, so spicy and delicious. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Windsor, hands down! I can say that now that Socorro's is no longer in business (sad face). Prices are great, plates are HUGE, and food is just really really really good. They have a great bar towards the back, lots of good beers, and deal days all week, including Taco Tuesdays, which include carne asada street tacos! It's not often you see that carne asada is included in this deal. Sometimes we'll get take out burritos instead of plates and even those are delicious too! They also have frequent stamp cards for burritos =D The only thing I'm not a fan of is their salsa. I hate saying this because I love EVERYTHING else, but the salsa just falls flat to me. They have a cool salsa bar setup, but I'm not a fan of any... bummer! Other than that, this is definitely our go-to in Windsor! read more

This place was very frustrating. If the service was right the quality of the food easily warrants 4 stars. But the people they have working there have absolutely no interest in customer service. The lady who asked us to move to another table for whatever reason was very rude about it. If you tell me to sit where I'd like then please when I sit down with my party please don't ask is to move because we are a party of 4 at a table of five. And as for the man who took our order, he could not have been more uninterested in taking our order. Everyone who interacts with customers at this place is just the absolute worst which is really sad because the people they have cooking in the back are putting out really good food. read more
