However had I not been writing a Yelp review I would have just had more menudo instead. It's just that good. I suppose one thing to know is about the long communal tables. Was looking forward to coming here as i loved their other location. Called and asked for a simple order of tacos, specifically asked without onion and salsa. Came in and no one seemed to be able to place my order as when called it in, no one asked for a name or number to identify it. As i was paying i saw a black bug crawling all over the cash register which as you might imagine kind of dissolved my appetite, which as it turns out was good because when i got home and took a look at the order, lo and behold it had lots of onion and salsa. Everyone was nice and the place is cozy but they need to up on their customer service and management, plus an eye on making sure the place is insect free doesnt seem too much to ask of a restaruant. read more

Additionally, the suggested tip amounts are also calculated based on the total that includes both the sales tax and the credit card fee. Most customers expect tip percentages to be based on the pre-tax cost of the food and drinks. As a result, you end up giving a lot higher tip than you intended to. Because the payment screen does not show an itemized bill, it's very difficult to verify the charges or calculate a custom tip unless you remember the exact prices of everything you ordered. I hate when a restaurant's billing practice isn't transparent to customers.

When I got there, she was not a nice lady I talked to on the phone. She was immediately irritated with me and demanded a picture of the item. I did not have a picture. I took one through the review of the item on the app, but apparently that doesn't save it to your phone. She told me go ahead and complain through DoorDash. I can't help you. She wasted my time, energy, gas and basically stole my money. I cannot recommend this place, unfortunately. If you do decide to go there, make sure they don't do you, like they did me. Completely unacceptable and far from professional. If they followed through with the original promise to me, this would've been a positive review. It's unfortunate. Their leadership is too stubborn to admit mistakes.
