We wanted to try a new spot and was craving for Mexican food so we decided to try this one out. It's a very small restaurant and I can only imagine how it gets during peak hours. My sister-in-law had already gotten a table for us so we walked straight through. As we got the menu, I noticed that the FIRST chips and salsa are free. If you order a second round aka a refill you will get charged. I like how they have it on the menu on the corner in a small print so it won't catch your attention. If you order guacamole it's $9.99!! That's insane! The prices are pretty high in this restaurant so just be aware. The food was pretty good. I ordered the steak fajitas which comes with rice and beans. My husband and sister-in-law ordered molcajete mixto and molcajete marisco. The serving is pretty huge but the prices are pretty high for some things. Would we come back...no. I felt like our service was rushed when we were ordering our food. After that, they kind of forgot about us. New restaurant in town, and we like it. First visit, we got takeout: shrimp empanadas - yum! (And three tacos as well as a carnitas burrito.) Service was very friendly, restaurant was clean (newly refurbished). And the best part: I realized I had left my wallet behind on my next stop 2 hours later in Barstow. We order the octopus omg it was so hard and some parts couldn't be chewed, it felt like it had been sitting in the fridge for two or three weeks and just racked and grilled like it should be. we ordered oysters prepared with ceviche, I ate one and the second tasted super weird. my husband eating his and he also stopped eating it because he said this doesn't taste good, the only thing we liked was tacos gobernador. This is a all around 5 star authentic Mexican restaurant! This has become my favorite Mexican spot here in Vegas! The decor is so nice with an authentic Mexican vibe with a Las Vegas twist. Colorful Hand carved chairs, booths and high chairs. The waitresses are attentive and extremely nice. They immediately bring you chips and salsa with waters. I ordered the chicken wet burrito with green sauce. Everything you would want in a delicious wet burrito! My boyfriend had the chili rellenos and he loved it.
